Wonderful! I go to Ivy as a regular now. This is probably my 6th visit today & I am very happy each time. Full service, good prices. She doesn't even charge full price most of the time! Only two chairs so even though walk-ins are welcome, I recommend making an appointment. Good thing is you can text her for an appt! Nice salon, very clean, very comfortable. Only downside is the parking as it is downtown Ventura. Returning customer for sure! read more

Love! She does a great job, and is detailed. One time when I called in and wanted a mani pedi, she brought her friend in so they could do them both at the same time. Walking in works too, but I try to call because it's just her working there most of the time. Even if it's just 30 mins, helps a lot! read more

This was my 2nd appt with Ivy and to say I am disappointed is an understatement. My first appt was for a gel manicure and pedicure and it was fine. Unfortunately tonight's experience is the worst I have ever had in a nail salon. It took 90 mins for my gel manicure and Ivy was on the phone with a personal call the whole time. It was extremely awkward to sit in silence and listen to her conversation. While she was removing the previous manicure, she had given me, she tore 3 of my nails, applied the French white tip so high I could see light under them giving the appearance of a grown out French manicure. I had to keep interrupting her phone call so that she could correct problems. Ivy was very focused on her personal phone call and not focusing on my nails resulting in my nails not being the same shape. I felt she did not value me as a client nor did she make any effort to find out how I wanted my nails done. Needless to say I won't be going back. read more

Ivy is through and so good at what she does. I have had many pedicures and this was by far the best. She found an ingrown part of my toe nail and carefully freed Willy. Haha. I would zero stars if I could based solely on customer service. I have just left this place with out even getting a chance to get a pedicure. I first arrived at 4:10 as a walk in (which they say is walk ins welcome) and said that they could accommodate me and my friend at 5 o'clock. She even suggested that we go get some coffee and by the time we get back, they should be ready for us. Come to find out after our very enjoyable coffee and arriving at 4:55, they now had accommodated new clients before us. On top of that they didn't even acknowledge us until 5:10. I am really upset because she changed my walk in to an appointment at 5 then to me waiting an additional 45 minutes and not saying a word to us. We finally were fed up and decided to leave. On top of that I feel that they were ageist and didn't care about us as customers because we were younger than the clients before us. COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME.
