Unfortunately, one bartender's consistently contentious and dismissive behavior has changed that experience and driven away longtime customers--including me. He is youngish, beard and slight buck teeth. My concerns go beyond personality. On one occasion, money was left by a regular, the kind gentlemen that frequently wears herringbone hats, specifically to cover my food and drinks. I was later told by the bartender that only one drink had been covered and he kept the remaining money as a tip. That experience, combined with his ongoing poor customer service, was enough to make me stop coming. I recently gave the bar another chance because I genuinely love the food, salsa, and the other staff. Unfortunately, I encountered the same bartender and the same unpleasant treatment. Management needs to pay attention to how customers are being treated. It is unfortunate to see a place with great food and otherwise good staff lose longtime patrons because of one employee's behavior. Until that changes, I--and many other former regulars--won't be back.
