I moved to Paradise in the summer of 2024, and for about a year and a half I could not find a coffee joint that was both convenient and a local enterprise I could feel good about supporting. I don't recall the first time I entered Lofi, because by the time they re-opened I had somehow already integrated the morning visit into my regular routine. I can't tell you about the individual drinks, because I've tried each and every combination the guys behind the counter have to offer, or near enough. I can tell you that Jared, Garret, and everyone else in the family involved with Lofi are some of the best people you could ask for to provide the kind of neighborhood center a town still in the throes of reconstruction like Paradise desperately needs. I am moving away from Paradise today, but I'll miss the times spent as (often) the very first customer of the day. Thank you Lofi!

A specialty of the house are their "thin" pancakes. Crepe-like but not a crepe, it is a pancake and you can get them plain or blueberry, I recommend the blueberry but I'm partial to blueberries. I don't ever order pancakes EVER but, this caught my eye so I gave em a try. I order pancakes now. Well, I order pancakes at Debbie's. Parking can be an issue, they're a small place and parking is limited but thankfully you can park on the street if the lot is full. If you're traveling in this area, this is one of those local gems you definitely don't want to pass on.

She's the best of anyone else on The Ridge in my humble opinion. I'm addicted and crave her food at least once/week. When I asked her about some of her ingredients, I found out she uses quality food ingredients such as Rib Eye in her Philly Cheese Steaks and good quality lean hamburger for her burgers. Her fries are always crunchy...I try not to have them too often but they're so good it's difficult. Lol The Patty Wagon moved recently in the 8000 block on Skyway and has many more tables/seating. Plus lots of shade and protection from the rain now. So that's extra nice for me now. I also found out recently that she was one of the first places to open after the Camp Fire. She wanted to help feed all the workers on The Ridge and she also helped feed some people who were literally homeless pro fire. Thank you Janice for toughing it through the difficult financial times and dealing with some of the initial reconstruction.

Ordered some with my family and everyone agreed it was well done. I ordered a latte with honey, and they mixed the honey into the foam, and the flavor was consistent throughout the drink. Most coffee places I've been to do not mix the honey well, and it ends up at the bottom of the cup. They did a good job here with that. The crepes, they have gluten-free options for both sweet and savory, and they had a lot of different kinds on the menu. I got a beef and cream cheese with bell peppers and onions crepe, and my sister a peaches and cream. Good presentation, and the crepes flavorful; they didn't taste like preserved ingredients from an extruder. I didn't take any photos beforehand, because I didn't expect it to be so good. Next time.
