I'm new to the area so I don't have any previous experiences with the food from before the fire but I will say it was good, not over the top but the type of fare I would expect in a pub. Not very thick either, but it was thick enough to collapse the super-cheap straws they use. I had to ask for water for my dog four times and when they brought some, it was in a plastic bucket that had been used as an ash tray. There were burn marks and ashes still in it and it reeked of cigarettes. The place has it's good points. Just don't expect much.

I ordered the sea salt & vinegar fries and they were too salty for me... and that's saying something because I love salt.
