Today, my son and my husband went to Debbie's .Debbie was our favorite place to have breakfast. my Son had an omelette. He found two hairs in it. Dad is so disgusting. We were headed back to san fran, and decided to grab a bite. Came in, server came by right away and got us our coffee. We ordered after about 5 minutes or so and food took over 30 minutes to arrive. I got the egg, french toast, sausage thing, son and husband got the benedict which came with potatoes. Fake cheese on the potatoes - yuk. Egg was cooked well, sausage was good, french toast was bland - if anyone at the restaurant is reading this: it's more than egg and milk - add cinnamon, nutmeg, a little vanilla and a tiny bit of sugar. Overall, service took forever but the servers were super sweet. I like supporting local businesses so I may go back for the pancakes, which I'm told are good. read more

We have been wanting to visit Paradise for a while and picked Debbie's for lunch. We were greeted and sat immediately and our drink order was taken. Rather standard fare for breakfast and lunch. I had an sausage omelet and hash browns. My wife had the country fried steak sandwich with a macaroni salad. Both servings were generous and the food was delicious. The portions were generous and service was both friendly and efficient. The restaurant is rather small and a bit cozy, nice actually. I anticipated that it would be a bit noisy but it really wasn't. read more

Debbie's now delivers during the week! We've always loved their food, and now having a delivery service is wonderful. They have great sandwiches and salads for lunch. I've ordered omelettes and they're still warm when they arrive. We still go to the restaurant when we want pancakes, and always enjoy the great service and cute surroundings. read more

Recommended by a local, I gave this restaurant aka diner a shot and wasn't disappointed. The 4 star rating is probably correct but I'm giving them 5 because I love the small town diner feel. The blueberry pancakes were outstanding. Kinda like a crepe but a perfect pancake. The potatoes were very good too and overall delicious. It's a nice hometown family feel with booths and the ol' coffee counter where you can ease drop and hear the classic stories. You want brunch or breakfast in Paradise, this is the place. read more

Feeling very indifferent about my experience at Debbie's. We were out of town guests, tourists if you will, in the cute little town of Paradise and showed up here at lunch time. Based on the parking lot, we knew it would be busy- and it was. This place is not large, but most of the tables had people sitting at them already and only a few open spots at the counter seats were available. We thought it would be fun to eat somewhere local with a small town vibe; we also assumed we would need to wait a bit and totally didn't mind... The problem was that after 20 minutes of standing in the doorway not even one employee acknowledged us. No greeting, no smile, no waitlist, nothing! The small town vibe was basically "get out." Eventually we went up to the counter and attempted to get someone's attention to get an estimate of the wait time. She rudely said, "I'm really busy here, it'll be maybe like 30 minutes. Could be less." Then she spun on her heel and turned her back to us as if we wasted her time. I have a difficult time giving this place a low review after all the town of Paradise has been through. I want to support the rebuild and convince more "tourists" like me so show up in local places just like these. Unfortunately I also can't fake that I had a good experience here. We didn't end up staying for the food, but I will hopefully get to try it next time we are in town. read more
