Worst restaurant i have ever been to, If it can even be called that we asked for two lemonades and the waiter never brought them, And at the end of the bill they still wanted to charge for the lemonade, Im not sure where or how the caught the calamari or cut them but it is NOT calamari, Even the image they show on the menu looks more like calamari than the calamari, The food was also either microwaved or fast food styled it was not at all fresh. My father and I have been to J&C Crab a few times. We ordered 2 Weekend Specials, which consists of 1 Lobster Tail, 1/2 snow crab, Shrimp,potatoes and a 1/2 ear of corn for $37.99. We were very disappointed with the size of all of the seafood, everything was small enough for bait. The weekend special should be Grade "A" quality for such a price. Far as the service our server was very thorough. And the Ambiance was very quiet and it was about 4:00pm in the afternoon. It was a few people there. Ive been to this location quite a few times and have had nothing but great experiences. We are always sat quickly when when they are busy. The staff does a decent job of staying on top of the orders and needs. Restaurant is pretty big with ample seating for big or small parties. Food is brought out pretty quick. I've never waited longer than 10 min for our sea food boil. I normally go with tan order of onion rings to start it off and the weekend special which brings headless shrimp, crab legs and lobster tail. We ordered waters to start and when we received them both of our cups were cracked and server took them back and got us different ones, and then the cups of water that our server brought to us instead were also cracked but in different spots. We then again got different cups of water brought to our table, which didn't have cracks in them. Our server was very nice despite their dishware issues. Last night was our 4th time at this place. Restaurant was busy. We waited for 40 mins for a table for 3. Understandably, it's Father's Day weekend. Service was very quick as always. We ordered the weekend special which is 1/2 lb lobster, 1/2 lb shrimps and 1/2 lb snow crabs. We also ordered 1/2 blue crab and 1/2 head on shrimps. All cooked with their all of the above juices and DELICIOUS!!!! Unfortunately this time around, the lobster was overcooked. We have been to this location numerous times and it's always been very good. Tonight we went for my granddaughters birthday and it was all around horrible. The waitress did not come to our table for 30 minutes. Then another 15 minutes before she took our order. We ordered the same thing we get every time which is the shrimp and snow crab garlic butter medium and it had so much seasoning it was coated red. It was so spicy you couldn't even eat it. The waitress was MIA forever and when my daughter went to the restroom she found her sitting on the floor in the back texting. To make matters worse...we were automatically charged gratuity and we were a party of 4 adults, 2 kids under five and a baby. This was absolutely disgusting service all the way around. Used to love coming to this place with my girlfriend and getting a good crawfish boil, but recently left with a sour taste in my mouth. Per usual we came in for dinner and ordered crab cakes and a crawfish boil, crab cakes were great and then the crawfish came out looking a bit off. It was very dark and when I opened the first tail the meat was shriveled up and gray. As someone who was born and raised in Louisiana/East Texas, I can tell when crawfish isn't cooked correctly. Understanding that it was a simple mistake we waited for our waiter to come back to the table and politely let him know we thought the crawfish was inedible. He totally understood and said he was going to get his manager; this is where the trouble started. The guy already seemed in a bad mood and when we told him what was wrong and showed him the crawfish he simply told us we were wrong. We didn't argue with him but we requested another batch and said we wanted to send back the one that he gave us to which he replied and made very clear that we won't get a refund. This was disappointing considering they gave us 3lbs of inedible crawfish but we said we'll take the hit because we just really wanted some food. He takes are crawfish back and a few minutes goes by before the manager comes back to notify us that they ran out of crawfish 2 hours before the restaurant closed. We understood and just said we'll take our check and leave. This is where it gets interesting, our server comes back and says, "Hey guys sorry the manager didn't want to make another batch, is there anything else I can get you?" After finding out the manager just blatantly lied we let the server know what his manager told us and he left to go get him. The lovely manager returns and explains that they are short on crawfish (doubling down on his lie) and then proceeds to tell us that they don't have as much this time of year because they are out of season! For those who don't know crawfish are in peak season during the spring time (March-May) and this was in the middle of March. If this place has managers that blatantly lie to there customers I can't imagine what other things they lie about here! I would highly recommend going this restaurant if you would like 75% chance at getting some decent crawfish and want to be treated as if you were an idiot by the staff. read more

I did not like the experience of this place. I thought it was a sit down place but basically we got a server with no personality and no willingness to explain the menu take our order. Then they bring a bucket with your food in it and never come back. Kind of like a bad Joe's Crab Shack. It wasn't cheap, the food wasn't hot and the service was not great.
