Raynor's is a "hometown" Southern favorite. If you're looking for "comfort food" then this is the place to come and "git it". "Fried" is the way to go here from seafood to chicken. YOU MUST ORDER THE HUSH PUPPIES...it's their specialty, but the desserts are also awesome. They have a display case so you can walk right over and pick the one you want. Don't expect cute banter from the waitress, but if you want a real gal to "tell you like it is", then this is the place. Some people want the cute, nice Southern hospitality... Could be the last or one of the last of the original restaurants left in Immokalee.been in business for decades. I remember frequenting this restaurant with my brother when I was 10 years old, I'm 60 years old now and still buy my fried jumbo shrimp and the best coleslaw,hush puppies and fries around. Always a pleasure to chat with the ladies, known them for years. Never a dull moment. Had several Pop Warner coaches meeting inside the restaurant, plenty of room and down to earth atmosphere. My significant other and I are often making trips between my home in Lehigh Acres and Miami so we decided to research into what food spots in between are good. The previous positive reviews on this restaurant helped us decide to stop there for lunch. The outside of the restaurant isn't especially attractive, so I know without the search engine reviews-we would have certainly passed on it. The inside was clean and the atmosphere was very nice, many patrons there were mostly agricultural workers eating their lunch. Pam quickly showed up at our table with menus and took our drink orders, she was very sweet. I posted a picture of the menu, we ordered the basa fish sandwich and baked sweet potato. The food came out quickly and was very hot. I can't begin to describe how fresh and delicious the fish was, the sweet potato as well. The server/restaurant owner kept checking in on us and was great conversation. We took a slice of strawberry cake to go-there so many different types of cake to choose from. I can not stress enough how prompt the service is at this busy little restaurant. THe owner closed out our bill and also gave us a couple of hush puppies on the house saying it was their specialty. The hush puppies were very tasty-soft, mild sweetness and fried just right. Our bill was only $20 for the two meals, cake and soda. We highly recommend this "homely" and fresh restaurant with a great staff. Definitely stopping by here again in the future! read more

Don't bother- it's closed. We rode our bikes over 100 miles only to find the parking lot completely empty on a Saturday afternoon at 12:30pm. Thanks a lot YELP!! Okay granted I should have called first but being that we decided on the ride at 9:15pm last night it was too late to call...so we took a chance. Great fried seafood and non-fried sandwiches. In Immokalee, I would say that Raynor's is up there with kountry kitchen as the best food in town. Both are a good value with good country food. The locals fill the place everyday so you know it must be good. read more

Went to this place for the first time since I have been in the area (11 years), heard a lot of things about it and frankly was mixed. Now that I have been, I can say I won't be back! Ordered fried oysters with FF and Onion Rings, not one item tasted right, one of my dining partners tasted an oyster and he noted the "not fresh" taste, threw a bulk of it away. Tarter sauce was prepackaged to boot. I guess the rough service comes with the restaurants reputation which I would have enjoyed if the chow was decent. read more

What a Great local place.Wonda is a riot. Food is great.had the fried oysters/shrimp/catfish/ grilled chicken/baked potato. Big cups of ice tea. Slaw is very good. But the table side chats with Wonda is worth the trip.she doesn't write your order down but it all comes out as ordered. Fresh, fried country seafood! They have way more than seafood, though! As a local in Immokalee I can give you a fair warning that they're not known for the best service but it's what gives them personality and character. Someone said on an earlier review that they were rude and you might get that but don't take it personal it's actually entertaining and the food is so worth it! Lol. This is a very popular place with the locals and that should show you how good the food is since this town is filled with delicious food, a foodie's paradise. My absolute favorite thing on the menu is the hush puppies so whatever you order make sure you get some! Most meals come with them, too. Their sweet tea is also a local favorite and probably known as the best tea in town. Their burgers, flounder sandwich, fish nuggets and shrimp baskets are my most common orders but everything is good. If you have room left for dessert you should try their homemade cakes. Also, they're closed on Sunday's but every other day they're frying up some good food. read more

The oysters were solo good! Fried chicken was excellent. Crispy and not too greasy. Very generous portions. Not a whole lot of personality from the staff. Flounder and catfish were also very good. Shrimp basket was so-so. Overall great experience for the price. read more

I normally don't do these but I've never in my life been so disrespected by anyone in my life. The owner is the rudest person I have ever met. It was my fist time here & I was unfamiliar with the menu so I asked her a question & she rolled her eyes & was really snappy and said "oh honey, you cant read or what? It's all on the menu." So I left!! She might of been in a bad mood but you don't talk to customers like that. The customers is how she makes her money. If you are disrespectful & rude I don't care how good your food is, I will not be going back ever again!!! read more
