The reviews for Heatwave (not on their website, which I would expect to be positive) were extremely positive 4.9 on 150+ reviews, almost too good to be true. These guys were a pleasure to deal with. Dimitri, the owner came out promptly to assess the noise issue, diagnosed the problem, and said "I can replace the motor and you can probably get a few more years, maybe", out of this and gave me a ballpark cost. The furnace issues were more severe. I decided to replace both AC & furnace. The price quoted for a Trane unit was very fair. The install crew Ivan & Arvy were very experienced. The install went smoothly. My phone calls or texts were answered promptly, they showed up on time and everyone I dealt with was very professional. I can't recommend them highly enough. And, no I'm not a friend or a relative, just a very satisfied customer. Believe the reviews; they are true. If I could give them 6 stars I would.

Their tech came to our home last week (once he…read morefinally got around to showing up on the second day after he was scheduled to arrive) to perform what I expected to be warranty work on our AC since they installed it in 2020. He very condescendingly informed me that the leak was coming from our evaporative coil but "they didn't install that evaporative coil" so it wouldn't be covered by the warranty. If I wanted the evap coil replaced, it would cost me $3500. I thought that was pretty strange -- that they would install a $7,000 AC in 2020 but not install a new evaporative coil with it? Hmm.... Needless to say, I didn't have him do any work since nothing was going to be covered by the warranty. Next, I called Signature Heating & AC (they were recommended here in Nextdoor). Their tech informed me that the evaporative coil in my home was manufactured in 2017. Since our previous AC unit was installed in 1998, Summit HAD to have installed the evap coil. I ended up having Signature Heating recharge our AC. After thinking about it over the weekend, I contacted Summit and told them that I found out they lied about the evap coil and told them I was considering legal action. Only then did Summit "look over their paperwork again" and admitted to installing the evap coil. Now they say they are willing to honor the warranty and will only charge $1260 in labor to do the work - which would be great if I hadn't already paid $767 to recharge our AC system! Too bad they weren't honest from the beginning. Not only that, but the Summit tech forged my name to the diagnostic invoice. Also, to find the refrigerant leak in the first place, the Summit tech told me it would cost me $1100 for a pressure test. But when the Signature tech arrived, he used a refrigerant sniffer to locate the leak at no charge. I highly recommend Signature Heating & AC. Quentin (Signature) spent a lot of time explaining what was wrong with our system and gave us some options. I didn't feel like I was being lied to, up charged and taken advantage of.

Bubye...I called a local company...not a chain but a family business...with a receptionist who asked me to describe the problem. After hearing the issue she said it's probably a capacitor that costs about 32 bucks at Ace Hardware but if we come put it on there'd be a $450 charge. So I Googled and You Tubed...how do you fix a capacitor on a Trane A/C? After watching a couple...I went to Ace and bought a new capacitor...yanked the old one off and put the new one on...with a little bit of Jerry-rigging as it was skinnier than the old one and didn't fit the bracket...and voila! Air conditioner is humming along nicely!!! Saved a lot of money! Thanks Dorothy at Davey Heating and Cooling! It's nice to have great customer service even though I never used your service. Who does that any more! Well done!

With her on the line I found a blown fuse on the units motherboard and was able to replace it (props to Home Depot for having them in stock). Bottom line, she was polite, responsive AND helped me solve the issue over the phone at no cost. I will definitely call Davey Heating and Air for all my HVAC needs in the future.

They were not the cheapest or the most expensive but they have great reviews so we trusted that and the people we spoke with for the estimate. They came out and it took two full days for them to finish the job. They worked 12 hour days and made sure everything was working perfectly before leaving. Every time we had an issue (which were always small things) they came out within an hour or two. When the city inspector came out to give everything the ok, he said that they never have any problems with work done by 888. That was very reassuring. This year we had them come out to replace our other furnace and install another heat pump and smart thermostat. My house needs two furnaces but because of the requirements for tax incentives, we could only replace one per year. Tom, Omar, and Lee worked for two whole days and made sure everything was working perfectly. They made sure to put down drop cloths from the front door all the way to the basement and into the furnace room so they wouldn't track in any snow or dirt. They were conscientious and hard working and cleaned up after themselves nicely. They addressed all of our questions and made sure we were happy before they left. They do still need to get us the frame that goes around our new thermostat but I'm sure that will be done soon.

I am shocked at the way the house was left and how sloppy this was. This was not the condition that it was supposed to be left in. I had a showing the next morning so had to spend over 3 hours cleaning it. I contacted the manager about it and received a $275 discount. They did offer to come back over and "take care of these items" but I had no time to let them come back so I had to take care of it myself. For how much I paid to for this to be done I expected way more from this company. I will not be using this company again.

We are now able to realize much more usable space than before. Next job already scheduled for the hanging of a new barn door for the walk-in closet! With a new bike on the way, I found it was going to be quite a challenge storing it in our relatively small garage. I barely had enough room to squeeze the car in with just one bike, so purchased a ceiling hanging system. After the system arrived, I hired Wade Services to do the job. Upon arrival, he suggested an alternative solution that would allow for easier access to the bike. I went with his idea and was quite pleased with the results. Where there was once clutter and barely enough room for one bike, I now am able now able to fit two bikes (old bike pictured - new one will be placed where the tires are), store my ladders and camping tables, and still effortlessly park my full-sized SUV. I would never recommend Integrity Fencing. Our experience was plagued by poor communication, subpar…read morecraftsmanship, and unprofessional conduct from management. From the start, the privacy fence was not built to the agreed-upon specifications. The HOA drawings which their salesman explicitly confirmed in writing (attached via email and said quoting exactly) called for horizontal beams to be mounted in-line. Instead, they face-nailed the beams, which altered the entire aesthetic and structural look of the fence. They claimed the HOA requires this which is not true. Additionally, the installation was plagued by issues: - Workmanship: The fence height was inconsistent, ranging from 71" to 79" on a promised 6' privacy build and 48" around on a promised 45" picket build. In several areas, there was a 3-4" gap between the bottom of the privacy fence and the ground. They faced the privacy pickets the wrong direction and blamed my wife for it. They mostly corrected the height after it was called out, but there are still gaps and inconsistencies. - Property Damage: Despite assurances that our landscaping would not be in the way, they broke our paver walkway and destroyed the edging between our garden and rock bed. We also found dried cement mix stuck/spilled across our landscape rocks. They mostly fixed this but it shouldn't have happened to begin with and the walkway is permanently damaged. - Gate & Staining: The metal gate installation was miscommunicated and poorly executed. The "custom" gate that we paid extra for is just an oddly angled gate that doesn't fit the opening or slope properly (and the previous standard gate was already mis-mounted). When they finally came to stain the fence, they did so just hours before a major rainstorm, despite the forecast, which was negligent. The most disappointing part was dealing with the VP of Operations, Jerry, and the owner, Shawn. After failing to deliver the product we contracted for, Jerry attempted to deflect blame onto my wife. When I pushed back on the invoice to address the fact that they had not corrected the beam alignment or secured an alternative HOA cap approval as discussed, management immediately resorted to threats of placing a lien on our home - all while holding our 50% deposit for staining work that hadn't even been performed yet. They over-promise, under-deliver, and resort to intimidation tactics rather than standing behind their work. Save yourself the headache and choose a contractor who actually values integrity.

Reza didn't charge a show up fee like most companies requested to get me a quote which was very nice considering we didn't know the best route to take to solve the issue. Reza was very easy to communicate with via text and over the phone for several days on end trying to get a solution even outside of typical working hours. He was very professional to work with the entire time, even when I was juggling being a dad with two infants when he was onsite looking at my system. I ended up finding a bypass solution to my issue that I had the origial installers solve due to their issues the left me in, but Reza had worked very hard in finding an alternate way to solve it, that we were hours away of implementing. I would highly recommend using Caspian for your HVAC needs, I know I'll be contacting Reza the next time I need assistance.
