I had the privilege of working with Nancy and Dan at the office, as well as the technicians Dan and Greg in the field. I was concerned about replacing my once rock-solid aging and failing garage door opener (touch pad, remotes, receiver, and opener unit/motor) with a potentially less well made model, and my fears were allayed as we talked through the pros and cons of old chain vs newer belt driven systems with Dan (technician) and my garage's particular setup. After my first at-home appointment, which was on-time and extremely thorough, Nancy sent me a detailed spec sheet on the product I was considering. I also read reviews on the product itself and was armed with questions when I called in again to make my decision. Dan was right on hand to address each question and it became an easy decision to replace my old system rather than attempt to repair individual parts. We moved right into scheduling and Greg came out two days later, again right on schedule, and replaced our garage door opener with a quiet, efficient and powerful system that immediately improved our quality of life. He also took the time to set our new control pad, touch pad and fine tune our rails and doors. He went above and beyond my expectations to make sure we were happy with our new system. One guy would be there for three days and then someone new would show up and have no clue what the last guy did. One of the employees painted the bathroom walls without even wiping the walls down after sanding. At one point, I had to tell the project manager that I did not want anyone in my home until I met with him. The lack of craftsmanship, and integrity was upsetting to say the least. Who puts kitchen cabinets in before painting??? Once the job was complete, it took Vaz Construction another month to come back and finish the things that were not completed. Overall the experience was very disappointing, even more-so with the amount of money they charged us for their sub par work.
