Stopped by here again. Folks were pretty accommodating and food was very good. Salad was refreshing. The chicken was juicy and had the right amount of char. Will definitely stop by again.

Small friendly quaint pizzeria in the Rego Park area. You can taste the freshness in the ingredients they use (i.e., mozzarella, ricotta broccoli). The owner is very friendly and engages in conversations, he even took the pic for us holding our slices for Pi Day :-). This is the locate pizza joint we like to go to when my friend is back home for a visit.

Staff was super welcoming coming in helping us get the right slice to our beverage of choice . Small place but at least 6-4 tops so roomy to sit and stay to eat your slice but not for a large party per say. Pizza was hot and crispy tasted exactly what I expect in the city; greatness.

Awesome pizza spot. To date, i've tried their Lasagna, Buffalo Wings and Sausage Pizza. Here are the results: LASAGNA - SOLID! I was definitely blown away. It was meaty, saucy, cheesy, had just the right amount of Ricotta and the pasta was al dente. It HIT! SAUSAGE SLICE-Tasty and definitely above average. Very little grease and the Sausage toppings are a bit on the thick side which i'm not accustomed to, but it was delicious nonetheless. It HIT! BUFFALO WINGS- Subpar. Spiciness was to my liking, but I wasn't a fan of the texture. They lacked the slight crispiness that I like. Had to stick them in my air-fryer for a few. Still decent though. I'll be trying more items from their menu!

Best grandma pie in NYC. This mom and pop is a staple in Queens. The pizza is excellent here and hot foods. Come here to enjoy pizza, hot pasta, salad and more. Definitely try one of their version of the grandma pie. Thin crispy crust with cheese and homemade tomato sauce! So awesome. Also try their chicken salads with homemade balsamic dressing! The workers care about the products they put forward and the owners really care about their customers. Excellent seating inside too. Joe and his family are often working round the clock and I enjoy bumping into him to catch up.

My friend has a newborn and we were trying to find restaurants in the area that would be stroller-friendly (which actually isn't an easy task, to my surprise) and finally landed on Nick's because we had gone there together when it reopened. And it always seems very family and kid-friendly. We definitely went to the right place. I'm not a parent and I've never pushed a stroller without some bumps here and there, and I was so worried about helping get the stroller through the 2 doors. One of his staff saw us from the inside and immediately came out to help as soon as we reached for the door. Nick's paternal instincts definitely came into full effect because he looked out for us and wanted to give us the best seats so that we can have the stroller beside us. The pizza is excellent and I absolutely would come here over again and again, but the warm service from Nick himself and his staff is what truly makes this place so special in the community for so long. I didn't get a chance to come here during those formative years before the fire but when the restaurant finally reopened last year, it was incredibly sad to hear Nick explain how the fire and rebuilding devastated him and the business for over 2 years.

Cuisine: 8 Service: 8…read moreDecor: 7 Value: 8 Overall: 8 I still remember back in the early 90's when there would be long lines outside Nick's every Wednesday before they opened because everyone wanted the buy one get one free deal. This was one of the best new pizzerias in NYC, opening to great accolades from various publications. Being a poor kid in Junior High School working for a mere $3.75/hr across the street at the corner Baskin Robins (RIP) did not give me the opportunity for quite some time. Anyway, fast forward 5 years and I finally had the chance with a few friends to experience what many called the best pizza in Queens, and I was very impressed. This became my regular "fancy" pizza shop of choice. What I loved most about it was the crispy and charred thin crust. It adds so much to the overall taste and enjoyment. The sauce was deliciously tangy and the fresh mozzarella made it a level above everything else in the neighborhood. One word of warning, the pizza could get a little soggy in the center if too many toppings are ordered. I usually choose none or no more than two. Also noteworthy is their yummy calzones. My personal favorite combination is sausage and spinach. Mixed with all that oozing ricotta and dipped in some tomato sauce, that is one great bite. Lastly, I like most of their salads too. Their food has been a staple in my diet for most of my adult life. Decades go by, and out of nowhere, I hear the news that Nick's had burned down. What a loss for our community! What a loss personally! Thankfully, they are back and feeling every bit like the original. Food is as good as before, while the decor and service has always been on point. Though not my favorite pizza in NYC, or even Queens, it does hold a spot in my rotation.
