Amazing service! Clean environment and there was a jukebox. It was very family friendly. The menu was well rounded. The Mermaid Water was on point. Large list of mocktails for those who don't drink alcohol.

    Garbage Wings!!! 5 Stars!!

Alright Alright Alright! Where does one start? I'm from Cali and tried to go to another restaurant but that restaurant closed early due to they ran out of food. We stubbed across this gem honestly by mistake. This was one of the BEST mistakes of any of our lives. We ordered what they called Garbage wings which were far from being garbage!! The wings were some of the BEST wings i've came across in a long time. Favorable doesn't give these wings justice!! Everyone in there was extremely welcoming. We met the owners and took pictures with them. They took the time to talk to their customers and get to know what brought us to town. We got to know them as well. It's not often you'll receive this type of hospitality. I personally had to write a review and say if you're ever in Cooperstown, New York please go to this amazing establishment restaurant, you won't regret it. 5 stars all day!!!

Absolutely delicious and wonderful service. Awesome old and new songs playing - feels like a western lol. Wings we're crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. We had the bourbon bbq and there was only a hint of spicy which is perfect for me. The wrap was nice and fresh but I had it without letting and the onion rings were really nicely battered and fried to perfection. Highly recommend - especially since it was nice and quiet on the Monday we went.

Kids menu: sliders and fries for my smaller appetite.

Solid food, nothing special. Kids burger was just a small slider. Wings where breaded style, but isn't say it on the menu.

She offered to bring out a couple dipping sauces for our fries, and I asked for the bourbon jelly, which she was willing to do. That initial interaction set a great tone. The food itself was very good--both burgers were delicious. Unfortunately, after we placed our order, the service dropped off completely. We waited about an hour for our food, with no check-ins, no water refills, and no acknowledgment of the delay, even though our server walked past our table multiple times. At one point, I had to get up and find someone to talk to. I asked a man near the front for a manager, explained we had been waiting an hour, and pointed out our table. No one ever came over afterward to follow up. We were later told there was a large party, which is understandable--but that's not something customers or servers can control. A simple check-in or acknowledgment would have made a big difference. Instead, we were told we "should have said something," despite no one coming to the table. At the end, we waited again for the check, and when my daughter calmly tried to explain our frustration, the server spoke over her and said, "I'm almost 50--I've been doing this since I was 17," which came across as rude and unprofessional. The food was good, but the lack of communication, attentiveness, and management involvement made this a disappointing experience.

We just ordered burgers and fries, but they were fantastic. Great food, great atmosphere, and exactly what we needed after a morning of baseball. And Karen was absolutely wonderful! She was the exact opposite of the definition of a "Karen." She was smiling, welcoming, genuinely excited to have us there, and just an absolute joy. Then there was the Long Island Iced Tea. After spending the entire morning at the baseball field and heading into the afternoon, YES, I needed one! Stephan made it, and I have to say, it was probably one of the best Long Island Iced Teas I've ever had. Phenomenal! So, if you're looking for a place in Cooperstown to grab a great meal, have a good drink, and get a little much-needed mental health time after baseball, this is your place! Thank you, Double Day Cafe, for knocking it out of the park! Great food, great drinks, and even better people. We'll definitely be back! If you want a good meal and good drinks in Cooperstown, come here!

Cute restaurant decent service went for breakfast, food was very good. I will say that their coffee is terrible, sorry just terrible cup of coffee. Corn beef cash was delicious ,really good cinnamon bun, nice bloody Mary and mimosa and very good omelette. If they got better coffee, it would be a home run.

We also know great service when we see it and always love to give credit where it's deserved! We called ahead with a large team of about 30 people and were told they could get us in. When we arrived, they were very transparent that they were working with a small crew, just two girls out front and one guy in the kitchen. With a group our size, we were a little nervous at first, but we had absolutely nothing to worry about! Zoey was our server and she was amazing. She handled our entire group with so much grace and professionalism. She kept everything organized, made sure the kids' food went in first, stayed on top of drinks and orders, and somehow managed to get all 30 of us taken care of and on our way in great time. The bartender was also incredibly nice and helpful, and together they kept everything running smoothly despite being short-staffed. The food did not disappoint either! The Reuben, burger, and Reuben burger were all fantastic, and of course the boys loved the wings and boneless wings. If you're visiting Cooperstown or heading to the Baseball Hall of Fame, definitely make Cooley's Stone House Tavern one of your stops.
