Judy and her staff went above and beyond to host our baseball team during our CASV trip. We had to reschedule several times due to our fluctuating baseball schedule, and Judy jumped through hoops to host our party of 50. Once there, the service was outstanding and the food was delicious. The staff took great care of us and our boys and the entire afternoon was seamless. I highly recommend visiting The Depot when you are in town. If you're looking for a place for your team gathering, this is the spot.

2 workers monitoring our every bite with no other guests in the isolated dining room!

I do not recommend this restaurant, especially if you are a person of color. I would give this place zero stars if I could! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was unwelcoming, and we immediately sensed discriminatory behavior. We came from California for our son's Cooperstown baseball tournament. We arrived as a party of five and were told there would be a 45-minute wait. We agreed to wait. The hostess then informed us that due to a large party of 30, our food would be further delayed. We still agreed to wait. However, shortly after, a party of three--who arrived after us--was seated before us. When a table for five became available, I inquired if we could be seated there. The hostess claimed it was reserved, yet that table remained empty throughout our visit. Eventually, after seeing that we were not leaving, she seated us in a back room completely separate from other guests. Even my children noticed and questioned why everyone else was seated in the main dining area while we were isolated. The food was subpar and barely touched. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was that two staff members kept entering the room throughout our meal, seemingly monitoring us as if we were a threat or would leave without paying. This was one of the most disheartening dining experiences I've ever had. The level of disrespect and racial bias was undeniable. I share this in hopes that others won't be subjected to the same treatment.

We found this spot as a good, family-friendly option while in town for my son's Cooperstown All-Star Village tournament. I had the chicken Caesar wrap and my nephew had a cheeseburger. The service was fast and friendly and the ambiance was fine, but not fancy. There was a team dinner being held in the back room when we were there, so it's great for that.

We Visited on Saturday July 6 and sign said "take out only" Tiffany greated us and let us know We were welcome to sit and order but could be a Little while since she was working alone. She had several other tables as well as us but was very attentive and friendly. She answered our questions and we were super happy with our selections! "Garbage" is their signature wing sauce flavor and it was delicious, as well as their mild and garlic Parmesan sauce. We wanted fries but when she asked if we wanted to try the sweet potato tots, we couldn't resist. They were amazing! To end, Tiffany sang happy bday to my mom iand brought a delicious "birthday cake" chocolate mousse dessert. So good The Depot is an old rail station with history and lots of old pics of the old trains! ( sorry pics are of 1/2 eaten food. Always forget to take pics and dig in )

    Where is the cheese?

A friend and I ordered a pizza to go. When we got it to my house, we discovered that it was some weird style--not round, but instead a thick crust in a rectangle cut into 6 pieces. There was a lot of sauce, but NO CHEESE AT ALL. What kind of pizza has no mozzarella? Basically, just bread with mediocre sauce, and the toppings we'd ordered, which were buried under the sauce so you couldn't taste them at all. We paid $20 for this, each ate one piece, and threw the rest out. It wasn't even worth keeping for leftovers. Never again.

Popped in for the 1st time after a movie and capped off the night with a great experience. Service was excellent and the food was as well. Due to the awards, we started with the wings and understand why they have some recognition. Went with the French Dip and The Crossing Burger. Both were fabulous. Aus jus was flavorful. Will definitely be back!

The pretzel appetizer is phenomenal. Best pretzel I've ever had. The haddock sandwich was good too - very crispy.

It was so hot and muggy from the rainy day (only 75 outside though) and I felt like I had to leave early because I was so uncomfortable. Seating was more limited than I would have hoped for. Oh well. I paid cash. 20 minutes later we received my chicken wings, but they said there were no more falafel. I asked for a refund as I paid in cash. The manager said she was not authorized to give refunds and offered drink chips instead to which I declined. The manager called the owner, then came back and offered the drink chips again. To which i declined again and asked for a refund. She again said she could not do that. The cops were called and 7 officers came. They stated it was a civil matter and we would have to take the owner to small claims court. I just wanted my refund which i did not get.the cops asked us to leave. Which we did without incident. How does a manager not have the authority to give refunds?

It's been a lifetime since they moved up, and over the years since the migration from the city to here became more substantial. Some were concerned that the culture would change and change is always difficult for some. And change isn't universally good. Sometimes things are just fine the way they are. I'm happy to report that the world has not ended, and while there are more than a handful of downstate customs that transplant poorly all in all from my vantage point it's gone pretty well. One aspect that I personally welcome is the food. The transplants have made an economy for small farms and family food businesses that were beaten almost out of existence by industrial agriculture and federal food policy have more than a toehold. To vanquish faceless industry and the government at the same time, and in a way that makes your mouth happy and your belly full is winning. Winning in a really good way. Dazzo's exemplifies much of this for me. I'm only back a few times a year, but every time I visit I visit here. I'll bring mother, make Christmas presents out of gift certificates, other things. I enjoy them so much. The food is always delicious and clearly carefully prepared. Front of house staff and servers are fun and friendly and compliment the dishes and atmosphere so perfectly. You have more options in this part of the world than you used to, which is splendid. But this spot will always be near the top of your list. Of this I am very, very sure.
