I see a couple of people I wrote reviews ahead of me didn't like the place. I like the sandwiches they make and the one person who made my sandwich did have gloves on. They made me a BLT and I swear I had to take some of the bacon off and I could have made another sandwich out of it they also have fresh meat such as hot and sweet Italian sausage beef pinwheels and all different kinds of steaks marinated Or, fresh and the prices are pretty reasonable the only thing I found wrong is I bought a prime rib from there and they wouldn't cut it in sections so I had a prime rib the size of a quarter of a cow maybe I spoke to the wrong guy behind the counter because owner wasn't there that day, so I'll give them another chance with the prime ribs read more

This my my favorite deli on Long Island. Its been around for 30 years plus and I feel for the money you wont find a better place. I really cant say enough about the Smelly Deli of Copiague. Its sausage is second to none, meat bread, pinwheels, rice balls I can keep going. Its got various other household goods and small produce section. Whenever I'm on Great Neck rd no matter what my financial situation may be...I can always grab a pound of chicken cutlets. read more

Egg sandwiches are good when they actually get them right. I personally think $6.50 is a bit steep for egg and cheese on a roll, I feel like they used to be cheaper. And messing up my other order charging me $7+ for a Bacon egg and cheese and forgetting the bacon. I was very disappointed and annoyed, I used to like them a lot but I feel their quality has gone down and prices have gone up. read more

Omg I just went here to get two egg and cheese sandwiches, this was my first and only visit. I was actually looking for a deli that I can stop by daily to get breakfast so I was hoping they would be reasonable and good food. I have never paid $9.12 cents for two egg and cheese sandwiches on a roll!! Are you kidding me? Why would you have the microwave in plain sight? They blatantly took my bacon chicken and cheese slapped it on a piece of paper and threw it in the microwave then slopped it on a piece of bread with mayo. Obviously the food tasted like gum. I love this place! Ive been going here for my entire life. Never have i ever had a bad experience, not only is the food amazing (try the grandma hero or sicilian special and or the sausage is outstanding) but the staff is kind funny and thoughtful. You will have cultural experience, the staff can speak a variety of languages from italian, spanish and even polish. All my family parties are catered by J and G and i have never had a problem and they are always amazing. Also the delivery guy is so sweet, he always helps set up the food. This deli is literally the worst service I have had. The guy sat in his chair while I stood two feet from him when he helped me huge attitude!!! Very condescending arrogant!! Egg sandwich was terrible uncooked and guy was smoking a cig while making it. Totally gross. And I saw those little green mouse pellets on the floor. Terrible therefore I give them zero stars. I've been visiting friends who live around the area a lot lately and have been to this deli quite a few times. Don't bother ordering ahead for breakfast because the coffee is never ready anyway. You think your food is all set when you get there and pay but they decide to throw a fresh pot of coffee on pretty much every single time I have to wait for it. You call ahead and say one thing they always cut you off while your talking and repeat something else back to you. The food is good but over priced. If you get eggs I can tell you they are so yellow it's disgusting I am pretty sure when other people get egg whites they are using all the yellow yoke for their next egg order. read more
