*BUYER BEWARE* THEY SELL YOU A TUB BUT DO NOT SERVICE IT COMPETENTLY…read more I spent approximately $13,000 on a Wellis hot tub from Big Star Backyards. About 3 1/2 years later (still under warranty), it developed what was initially a relatively minor leak. That was the beginning of what has now become a six-month ordeal. Since February, I've endured multiple paid service visits, repeated repair attempts, months of downtime, and countless emails and phone calls coordinating repairs with both Big Star Backyards and Wellis. Despite all of that, the leak has progressively worsened rather than improved. The most frustrating part is that what began as a slow leak has now become a spa that can lose nearly all of its water within approximately 24 hours after being refilled. Throughout this process, I've done everything asked of me. I've coordinated appointments, rearranged travel, filled the spa when requested, taken videos documenting the leaks for the technician, and remained patient while waiting weeks for parts to arrive. Unfortunately, despite all of those efforts, I still do not have a functioning hot tub. Rather than taking ownership of why repeated repairs have failed, the conversation has increasingly shifted toward my water chemistry--even though the spa is still under warranty, the water was balanced immediately after repairs, there were no guests using the spa, and it leaked nearly empty immediately after being refilled. That explanation simply does not align with what actually occurred.

In a routine conversation with someone named Michelle regarding service she was rude and hung up on me. I called back and she did not apologize for hanging up or for her unprofessional attitude towards me. I let her know that she should go fuck herself for her behavior and that I would never do business with them again. Then I received a message saying that I was banned from their business. Fair enough. No courtesy or professional response from a company I've spent more than $10k at in the past 4 years. She needs to be fired.

Total bummer but PPAS gave us a wonderful warranty and all will be fixed and made right. PPAS filed the insurance claim which they said their insurance company denied for me and countless others and they were headed to litigation to resolve this. PPAS was great about monthly communication up until Nov 2025 and they have gone completely silent. Have no idea what's going on at this stage, pool looks terrible and is losing water. I just really would like an update as to what's going on at this stage and our pool repaired so we as a family can get back to enjoying it. Until PPAS starts honoring their warranties I'd highly HIGHLY suggest to stay away and seek out other pool builders

From the day I met with Aaron to the day my pool was complete, our experience with Premier Pools…read morehas been outstanding. Aaron kept us informed up until Kevin, the site manager took over. We began the process in Sept. Due to circumstances beyond their control (weather and supply issues), the pool wasn't complete until Feb. Kevin was in constant contact. After Kevin was injured, Fred took over. Again, communication was great. There were no issues at all. Everyone addressed any concerns and answered all questions we had. Everyone was completely professional. Our pool is absolutely beautiful! The cost of our pool was less than the price of our new car. Unbelievable! If you are contemplating on getting a pool, sit down with Aaron at Premier Pools. He can customize a pool to fit your budget. We do not regret our decision one bit. **My husband has spent more time outside in the last 2 months than he has in the last 2

RUN! We got a new fiberglass pool installed and so DISAPPOINTED!!! Concrete decking is cracking…read moreall around, has chips, and bowing. I was told cracking concrete is normal but I am pretty sure it shouldn't be cracking immediately. They put the soil (finish) down on July 3rd right before the tropical storm dropped over 5" of rain and the concrete forms were still piled up in the backyard so that area didn't get cleared or topsoil. We still had a green pool that couldn't be enjoyed over the holiday. They won't dig before rain but they will through down fresh topsoil or whatever it was but not prepared for sod and rough grade that went straight to the pool. It was also before the masonry was even started much less completed. The masonry guys got to trudge through carrying the stones. What we ended up with was a mixture of concrete, sand, gravel and rock with footprints after things dried out. We had to use a tiller/cultivator and pickaxe to try to break up the ground. The mixture of concrete, sand, gravel, and rocks broke my tiller. They shouldn't put down soil until everybody is done so that all of it is cleared up! We signed the contract 3/5/2025 and we still haven't swam in the pool for 2 primary reasons. 1 they cleaned the filters but then they got more concrete in the pool so the filters already need to be cleaned to get the concrete out. 2nd the tinker toy handrail isn't going to help me or my sister in or out of the pool (white powder coated steel ended up being white plastic that bends pretty easy and isn't long enough to help). I don't know if my pool was damaged but when the little bulldozer slid into the side wall and they had difficulty getting it out, they said it was no big deal. It feels like to me they seem to invalidate any of my concerns, they just want the money. The decking mess is probably why they push to sell the cool decking to just cover up issues.
