So April 10th 2021 I made my first quad purchase. I ended up purchasing a 2021 Kawasaki Brute Force 750. I ended up going to J&J sales in Huron Ohio. Walking in with my dad and my boyfriend I was honestly surprised that nobody really acknowledged us. I had an appointment already scheduled for the quad I wanted. We were there for a little under a half hour before a sales guy even spoke to us. A little while after that I got my paperwork done and we were able to load up the quad and head home. This was one of my first large purchases and I was pretty darn excited. After getting home I took my new Quad out on a Little Ride and everything was great, I parked it and ate dinner with my family kinda celebrating. After dinner I took it back out riding in my fields, and after a half hour or so I look down at my speedometer and hot differential oil is being shot from the breather tube from under the handlebars into my face. Purchasing a brand new Quad you shouldn't expect to have any problems right away. So I had to wait until Monday for them to open, I left voicemails over the weekend asking for them to call me explaining what happen. No one ever called me, on my lunch break I called again. No one answered. So I had to leave work early and take it back to the dealership just for them to tell me that Kawasaki overfilled the differential wet oil, and they had nothing to do with that. I was told by Chris in service that the manager would be calling me in the morning. I waited until noon and nobody ever called me. So I decided to call up there because I'm worried about the machine I just spent over ten grand on. They acted like they had a issue saying they would call me, so I waited another couple hours and I finally got a phone call from them. Chris from the service department stated that the manufacturer overfilled the differential oil and it built up pressure and forced it out the breathing tube. Never apologized for any of this happening. I tried to express how disappointed I was With the whole experience. But he continued to cut me off mid-sentence and I was told that "it wasn't their problem" and I was told that I should be happy that they washed it for me. I wasn't happy. So a few minutes later I get another phone call from them but this time it is Nate the manager of the service department. And I was asked what did I want them to do? And I told Nate that a apology would be great a start, I just wanted them to understand how I felt and again I never got a "Im sorry this happen". All he could say was it wasn't their fault, and I should be happy Im getting it back so fast. I wasn't looking for anything free! I wanted an apology. They couldn't do that! They didn't want to take any responsibility for anything that happened and completely blamed it on Kawasaki even though they sold me the machine. I bought something brand new that wasn't exactly cheap, the customer service was horrible. When Chris was loading my quad into the bed of my truck for the last time he wanted to argue with me and say that he did not say it wasn't "their problem" he said it wasn't their fault. I told him, you told on the phone it wasnt "your problem" and he got all sarcastic and told me it wasn't his problem now and started to pull off with the forklift. And that left a nasty taste, instead of saying sorry. You're going to argue and act sarcastic. The whole experience on its own was horrible honestly. I would NEVER do business with them again. Not after being treated the way I was! read more
