This was my 2nd time trying this place. The first time I tried it I remember it being really good! This last time I tried it I feel like the food lacked flavor. Not sure if every batch is different and it might be a hit or miss, depending on how the batch of food comes out. It's still a good place to get fast food and at a cheap price. The customer service is good and fast, the lady who served our food was nice. I like how they have casual indoor seating so you can eat your food right then & there, or take it to go.

Updated menu pictures on 2024/01/11 I came by to pick up dinner, I noticed that the prices have changed so I decided to post the new menu prices. The portions of the plate have thankfully remained huge, food is still good. The service is friendly, They used a paper bag instead of a plastic bag. That was new

J&J Wok is Chinese fast food in warm chafing trays so don't expect just made food from a wok although it may be if ordered à la carte.  The young, Salvadoran American lady behind the counter is friendly, charming, affable. I appreciate her good spirits.  Food to me here is closer to 2 stars. The saving grace is the huge amount of food that can be crammed in a styrofoam box at a relatively low price of $10 plus tax for two items with minuscule bits of veggies fried rice & flavourless wheat chao mein noodles tinted brown w/ soy sauce. I got orange chicken nuggets which seem more fried batter coating than chicken meat tossed in a sweet sour orange juice tinged sugar sauce.  Spicy chicken resembles kung pao chicken with touch of by now, over heated limp zucchini, green & red bell pepper, onions, errant blackened red chile pepper in thickened soy sauce.  There is enough food to feed 2 eaters for $11 which is a deal even if the food is schlock.   2+ stars

Why is this hidden spot always clean and have fresh food... this place has deli food and amazing service

Foul smelling, sour tasting chicken. Disgusting.

HORRIBLE. The chicken in the green bean chicken smelled so foul. But into it and it tasted sour and upon further inspection, I smelled it and almost threw up. I hope my family and I don't get food poisoning because it was truly disgusting. How can the workers there not check on the food?? Do they not throw away rotten food? If it was flavorless or bad service, I wouldn't complain, just never return. But this is a health hazard.

Absolutely love the food here! The place is very clean and the service is always great!

I accidentally found this place. It's tucked away in the back of the huge parking lot. I've never seen it before. The food is really good and they have a wide variety to choose from. The prices are amazingly cheap. I will come back here to eat now that I found this place. This is a hidden gem for sure.

This is one busy spot ! The door constantly has people going through . The prices are great and the portions are huge, you can easily share any of the combos . I ordered orange chicken and honey walnut shrimp .My friend got orange chicken , Teriyaki chicken . The line is fast, but since the restaurant is cozy everyone does many jobs, so you may have to wait a bit . The food was soooooo good. We had so much leftover, I have no regrets.

Great food. Great customer service. They give a lot of food per plate for a price you cant beat. Highly recommended this place to anyone looking for some good Chinese food.

My favorite Chinese food restaurant in the area. It may look old on the outside but the flavors are big on the inside. As well as the portions. I usually get the same thing half fried rice half chow mein with broccoli beef and ribs in black bean sauce, and it never fails to satisfy. I've never gotten sick from this food, but then again my body is a custom to eating it and I always get the same thing. I would highly recommend this place to others who enjoy good Chinese food at an affordable price.

While they do have General Tsao on the menu it's listed as spicy so I may try it next time. I had the beef broccoli which was good. The fried dumplings are always a go to and they did not disappoint and were still a bit crispy when it was delivered. That savory taste 10/10. The spring rolls were good but wish they had big egg rolls on the menu. I definitely wanted cream cheese wontons. I was a bit disappointed by the almost non existent amount of cream cheese but they were still good. They gave the normal sweet and sour sauce but my disappointment about the cream cheese was quelled when I tried the Dijon like horseradish sauce that also came with. The sweet and savory 10/10. I'll definitely ask for that any time I have wontons. I can't speak to the ambiance since I ordered delivery but the food came quick and satisfied my cravings. I may pop inside to try out the general tsao some time. If ur in Burbank or an abutting neighborhood I'd definitely recommend it. Happy munching!

Our waiter was also very attentive, poliete, and knowledgable. However the food ended up leaving a lot of be desired. The Egg drop soup tasted a bit off. I'm not even sure how to describe it besides eh, maybe a tad slimy? I'm just not certain but I didn't have a desire to finish it. My beef and broccoli was similarly underwhelming. No flavors really stood out in the meal. The egg roll might have been the best thing I had to eat. The Beef was just eh and the Broccoli was similarly lackluster. I had hoped this might be a new place to frequent but after my experience I will be passing on Century Dragon going forward.

Walked in today at 3:45 pm and was greeted by the host name Melody and she took us to our table. A minute later, Luis, our server came to take our order. We ordered 4 items that could have fed an entire Army. It really was a lot of food. Generous portions and still had left overs to take home. We got small orange chicken, which was more like a large size, ($14.49), Chicken Steamed Dumplings ($7.99), Vegetable egg rolls (4) pieces(8.99), and their House Special Fried Rice that came with: chicken, beef, shrimp, eggs, peas, carrots & green onions.(16.99). Luis & Bryan were very nice, pleasant, kind and very attentive. They checked on us like 4 times. Our food came out fast, tasted fresh, hot and delicious. Let me not forget to tell you that the minute you sit down, they bring Complimentary hot Green tea in a teapot. The restaurant along with the restroom were very clean. 10/10. Underground valet parking shared with other businesses; and you can also park on the street and metered parking. Also looks like white rice did not look like what traditionally you think. Fried rice would be when I inquired about it. He said oh it's just white rice with egg you will see from my pictures. I didn't see any egg and even though the rice was tender, was like in a jelly mold instead of loose fluffy rice. Pros: 1. It arrived in a timely fashion. Enter the lids. Every single lid in the package had come off of whatever it was covering. That included the soup, which, thank goodness was in its own bag and therefore survived. The egg rolls were a different story - both sauce lids were completely off the sauces and unfortunately for me, the sauces were IN the box with the egg rolls. All the sauce from each (one spicy, one sweet and sour) were all over the place including the four egg rolls, which were now drenched in both spicy and sweet and sour sauce. Because of that, they were too soggy to even pick up, nor would I ever put a soggy impossible to pick up egg roll anywhere near my mouth. Those went into the trash. Happy to say that the soup was okay. A little had spilled into the plastic bag, and it was difficult to get the literal cup of soup out of the bag without spilling more, but I managed. Now, when I say literal cup of soup, I mean the soup was in what looked like a cardboard coffee cup. I suppose that's fine and they did as I asked and left the shrimp out - the broth needed a little salt, but once that was added it hit the spot. In closing, learn how to attach a lid, Dragon Street. Thank you for listening.
