This quiet shop bumping groovy music is meant to be filled with groups of people chatting and laughing. Perhaps it was because I came in close to their mid-day break. Please be aware that they close at 3 pm Monday through Friday. Before they close though, there are some great lunch specials available starting at $14. I got the pad thai with shrimp. The shrimp was slightly overcooked, but the dish had good flavor and the consistency of the noodles were good. If you get this to-go I recommend mixing it around a little bit because the spice seems to sink to the bottom. Before I took off with my order I also had the shrimp rolls and steamed gyoza appetizers. The shrimp rolls had a perfect crunch and the shrimp was juicy. The sauce each appetizer was paired with was so flavorful and complimented each dish perfectly, but I recommend also adding chili oil to the dumplings. I also got the Thai tea which was delicious and nearly perfect, but just a smidge on the sweeter side. The person who took our order was also nice, patient, and made sure to get us our food while it was fresh and hot. I'll definitely be coming back.

Excellent tom kha with shrimp. It was mildly sweet and creamy coconut soup with a kick of spice. Get the pot instead of the bowl for a few dollars more. I had leftover soup to take home. I'll be back to Noodle Monster. The server was super nice and efficient too. I didn't get her name as she was very busy with other tables and takeout orders.

Been coming here more and more often lately and have yet to be disappointed. Casual sit down (or pick up) restaurant in a convenient location. I think their price-to-portion ratio is pretty good (for LA anyway!) and they are quick with bringing food out. I have had multiple noodle dishes, soups, fried rice, and curry - and everything is great! My only complaint would be that the rice is not included with dishes that need it (like curry) and has to be ordered separately... which is kinda weird / unusual and super annoying. I try not to order dishes that usually come with rice (to save on the extra rice order.) I am hooked on their ginger honey iced drink! So refreshing, thank you to the service who recommended that on my first visit. Love the huge parking lot with easy access too. Game changer when you're trying to be in and out quickly on a work day.

So I love thai food and I love coming across not only great tasting thai food but reasonably priced dishes and such warm and genuine customer service! This spot is super kyoote with plenty of parking! You have to try it! Trust me...you will not be disappointed! I just can't believe it took me soooo long to find it! We'll be back for sure!

Curry noodle soup with tofu! A must have when it's cold out. Very filling.

Noodle Monster has always been amazing since the first time I tried it after moving in the area. But the best thing is that they now close at 10 instead of 9pm! Their Tom Yum soup and curry noodle soup are the best things to order on a cold day, but you really can't go wrong with anything you order off their huge menu. I'm pretty sure I'm a regular at this point, so this review is long overdue. It's my go to spot when I have friends visiting and want a casual night in. Their entire staff is also really nice- from when you call in to place an order, to when you see their sweet smiles at the counter. They deserve all the business in the world!

The pork Pad Thai 8/10: has perfectly chewy noodles that soak up the rich, tangy sauce. The pork is tender. The Tom Yum noodles 7/10: delivered enough the sourness (you may find other places Tom yum sweet, but this place, the sweet-sour are just right) The server is very friendly.

I got the sesame noodles and 6 pc signature dumplings. Here's a tip - when you order to go they don't give you the sauces. You must get the sauces. I used the little cups and got all the sauces. The garlic sauce and hot sauce and you must use it. I swear it makes a huge difference. Also like any dumplings you must consume it right away. The restaurant was clean and open so even if it's casual it's a good place to eat with family/ friends. Since this is a a known Taiwanese franchise, all the other customers were Asian so that tells you it's legit! I'll definitely order again for lunch. Online order is the best, you can do it in their site and pick the time for pick up and it's ready. They have combo meals but my order wasn't a combo. I picked up and ate it there.

This review is only regarding the posted hours versus what I experienced upon arrival…read more I had a long day at work and was really looking forward to treating myself to what's rated as the best Chinese food in the area. I even drove a bit out of my way to come here, only to find a "closed" sign on the door. I truly hope everything is okay with the owners and staff, but it was disappointing that there wasn't any notice or backup plan for unexpected closures. From what I could see through the window, the restaurant looked very clean and well-kept. I'll definitely want to try again another time but will certainly call first!!!!

So I placed the order over the phone, I also got chicken fried rice for my wife, chicken basil for my nephew with no rice and my dad wanted the Suki Yaki noodles.
