This is a local Chinese spot in north hollywood and they serve okay Chinese food. The location itself is dirty, and I'm a little iffy on those sauces that sit on the table. They look like old bottles that are never thrown away; they just keep refilling the sauces on them over and over, and at some point that just gets nasty! The bottom of that soy sauce or siracha must not be very safe to consume. I usually prefer to get the soy sauce packets and siracha packets, but they only like to give you one of each; they are so stingy! The food itself is also okay. Sometimes I have received some good orange chicken; other times it is chewy and stale, and I realized that the closer to lunch you go, the better the food, but later in the day it is just not so good. The food is fresher earlier in the day. Overall the place is okay for a quick meal, especially if you're on a budget, because the plate is less than 10 dollars and they do give you a decent portion. But it is not the greatest, and you won't really hear me bragging about this place. read more

I recently tried this spot after looking up vegan Chinese food spots. They aren't all vegan, but they do offer several made-to-order vegan dishes. They give big portions at reasonable prices, which can be hard to find in LA and in this economy. I saw some older yelp reviews warning that the chow mein also isn't vegan. I've only ordered their chow mein so far (vegan beef chow mein and regular veggie chow mein) since it's always been my favorite dish, even before I became vegan. I did ask if the chow mein is made with egg noodles or oyster sauce (both commonly used ingredients in chow mein) and the lady told me no, neither of those ingredients is used and that it is vegan. If I find out otherwise I'll update here, but so far my experience has been good and service has been friendly and quick. read more

This small local express is a bit above decent in a part of NoHo that is constantly coming up (I mean they did shot part of Captain Marvel just behind here once a upon a time ago, and unpopular opinions aside I really enjoy that film). Located at the corner of Victory Blvd & Laurel Canyon Blvd across from the giant Chase bank building, Valley Plaza Shopping Center (Burlington Coat Factory, Ross Dress For Less, Target) and an actual few skips north of the NoHo West outdoor mall... Good China sits in a small lot with other businesses and a tiny lot. Getting in and out can be wild if dining in as the lot can get busy, but the intersection even more so throughout the day. I was curious to try them, craving some good chow mein, but being among the veggie club (vegan) I wasn't sure about their offerings until I discovered a full vegan side to their menu and wow, is it impressive! The Vegan Orange Chicken was better than I'd expect, as is their Vegan Chow Mein! I've got my eye on the Vegan Mongolian Beef, Vegan Fried Rice and so many other things in the future! Came for lunch it's close to work and I was craving Chinese food, First impression was that the place looked a bit rundown, but the food did look tasty ! I got the orange chicken and it's was honestly dry, but I will say the teriyaki was quite good, they added teriyaki sauce on top! I ordered an order of cream cheese rangoons , not my favorite wouldn't get again. Not sure if they were sitting for a while. My partner got the beef brócoli and it was fresh so it was delicious, the flavor was great over all, would give them another chance and try something else on the menu. read more

I order the vegan beef & broccoli from Uber Eats almost every week. It is so delicious - garlicky, fresh - and the portion size is large-- def enough for multiple servings. I personally like the chew of the vegan beef. also I'll note a lot of vegan meats hurt my stomach, but not this one. No bloating lol. I got the following as it appears on the delivery app: - Vegan orange chicken - Vegan beef broccoli - Vegan chow fen - Steam white rice I would only recommend getting noodle entrees (chow mein, chow fen) if you are vegan. The soy protein used across the vegan options isn't the tastiest, but the beef in the chow fun was no longer an issue, and the dish was delicious. I have to agree with the other vegan reviews; the orange chicken tasted like meatballs, and the orange sauce was very citrusy. The brown sauce in the beef broccoli was delicious, but the beef itself was not the best. Also, I feel like they were stingy with the white rice ($2.39 for the small portion, keep reading). Every vegan item on the menu is also marked up about $4-5 more than when you order the food at the actual location. TIP: If you are ordering on a delivery app, you need to request the restaurant to add your choice of vegan protein to their entrees under "Vegan Soy-Protein." Listen, Chinese fast food isn't the cleanest option, but it sure is the tastiest! I've been going here for a fast Chinese fix and the generous amount of food you can get for a cheap price is really worth it. I wouldn't say this is the best Chinese food I've ever tried, because there is much better in a restaurant setting, however, I crave this food very often throughout the week and always come back! In an attempt to find a good Chinese takeout spot in noho Burbank area we stopped by. This spot is no good, we got two combo plates with teriyaki chicken, orange chicken, barbecue pork and broccoli and beef. All the chicken entrees were DRY, it was hard to even chew. The pork was tough which is normal but it was very salty. The fried rice was literally white rice with yellow coloring, there was nothing fried about it. The only good thing was the chowmein. Portion sizes are great, the vegan option fills a styrofoam container for 12 to 15 dollars depending. We shared and had left overs. Wish it came with chow mein and rice. My sister has bought food from here and told me earlier this week that they offered vegan options. So I was like that's so cool! I was pretty excited to check it out today. However, let me note this and I hope the owner actually reads this. My main concern was the fact that the lady who was serving the food was contaminating everything around. Yes, I know they wear gloves and tongs, but I don't think it's right that she is handling money and then serving the food. Also she took out her phone and started taking on it and we know how phones have so many germs. That was really gross Now about the vegan food - I had high hopes for it... I ordered the orange chicken - It was A-LOT that they serve you btw which could be a good thing if you really like it however -did not like it at all. They looked more like meatballs and the taste was not good at all. The texture was chewy and dry. My Boyfriend ordered the chicken and broccoli and he likes most foods, but he did not like this one at all. We both didn't even finish our food bc it just was that bad. I think the actual meat stuff is good from What I've heard, but the vegan stuff I feel is lacking a lot and I hope they work on that. Just wanted to leave this here, while they do make vegan food and it is very good, you need to be wary that the chow mein and the fried rice are both not vegan. The fried rice does have egg in it and the chow mein has other animal products. This is their version of "crispy chicken" it was so dry and hard- almost old tasting. Was supposed o be teriyaki chicken as well. It was supposed to be a combo/ of what I don't know.
