Everyone time you come in you are always welcome. I have been going to the J&K on General Booth Virginia Beach but man this location is the original spot and I can tell the food is made with love! This place was became packed about 5 minutes after I walked in. The cashier was attentive and immediately asked me what I wanted. As a first timer I told her I needed time to look over the menu. She proceeded to tell me about the wing special they had that day and that I should get it. However I needed up getting the sampler as it had the most items and I would get to try a little more of what this place had to offer. After placing my order I waited about 20-25 minutes. During this time I watched a prep person touch multiple items and proceed to the back the restaurant multiple times with her gloves on. I also noticed the beverage container with no lid or refrigeration the entire time of me waiting until I left. The food, out of everything that came on the sampler, I would have to say the only thing that stood out was the steak egg roll. The Cajun chicken and fries were underwhelming and the sliders left nothing to remember. However like I said in the beginning, this place was packed and people seem to like it. I just want to say WOW!!!! This place was amazing. I took my wife there for lunch and it was fantastic. Fried flounder was cooked perfectly. this store has a lot of potential but unfortunately they've let me down .. i went last week and got philly dogs and a sampler that had wings, 2 sliders, a steak egg roll, and fries. the philly dogs weren't the best. the sampler wasn't very good either. the wings were okay at best, while the fries were over done. the egg rolls sucked, they tasted like they weren't seasoned at all and they served it with a sauce that's taste did not mesh with the rolls. aside from the food, the customer service was amazing i want to give them another try, but maybe later down the line and at the other location and another menu item. read more

I really like this restaurant. It's very family oriented. The customer service is excellent. My granddaughter's dance studio is next door and I feel very comfortable letting her go there to buy food. The owner and staff know her and she feels comfortable ordering for herself. We waited our turn to order and got the wing sampler, side of Mac and cheese and the kids hotdog and fries. For our wings we did the Kenyatta and the Golden BBQ sauces. For the egg roll that came with the sampler we did the steak. Everything was yummy. Highly recommend the Mac, the steak eggroll and the Kenyatta sauce. First off, service is great. Loud happy workers greet everyone as soon as they walk in. They take your order while you're still waiting in line, so they can get it going before you even get up to the register to pay. Considering there is usually a line because the food is so good, getting the wings in the fryer asap is appreciated. The food is out of this world good. My only complaint is everything is good. Usually at a restaurant I find my favorite item and then that's what I always order there. I can't seem to do that here. I get something different every time to go along with my wings, which I also have swapped flavors and enjoyed every time I come. This is review for the food truck; and this is my first time here. The employees working the ft were friendly. I ordered the stuffed wings and jerk chicken egg rolls. The stuffed wings tasted good and also came with seasoned fries, it was two small drums and a flat. I assumed the "stuffed wings" title meant whole wings. I also received the philly egg rolls instead of the jerk chicken egg rolls but I did like the Philly egg roll and it also comes with fries.
