I would highly recommend J&S Asphalt. I needed a concrete slab for under a sunroom that's was being built at one of my homes and asphalt on a rock area to complete the driveway at another one of my homes in a different town. I spoke with TerryBurley the estimator, who was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with coming up with plans for both jobs. He made the decision making very simple. I was extremely impressed with his professionalism as well as the concrete crews who did the first job and the asphalt crew who did the second job. J&S was one of three bidders to complete our shared road and four separate driveways. The road and driveways were all in fairly rough condition. J&S provided the most competent and complete bid, Terry worked with each individual homeowner to assess needs and bid scopes of work that was in the best interest of each homeowners. The competitors were hurried and did not provide quality bids or assessments. J&S was priced in the middle, and well worth the additional money from the low bidder for what the results were. It's hard to make everyone happy on such a big and frankly costly project, however each of the five homeowners on the road were ecstatic with the results, Terry was on the job site every day overseeing the work (morning and night) and the crews doing the work were all extremely hard working, friendly and accommodating. We recently had Terry and the entire crew do an asphalt repair near Sonora, California. This was a very large project that needed some asphalt replacement, petro-mat installation, and an overall seal coating throughout the project. This could have easily impacted many of our elderly residents negatively but J&S made it more than easy. They took care of the resident notifications, communicated directly with them instead of channeling complaints through our team and made this a pleasurable experience instead of something that we would regret. And our facility was a good 2 1/2 hour drive from their facility in Rocklin. There was no complaining, and no compromises. The project turned out perfectly and without a single complaint from a resident. In the middle of our project, I also referred a friend of mine to J&S to re-seal his very large driveway in Auburn, California.
