    Habanero fried fish tacos
    JrlR G.

Two things on the menu are worth praise A). 2 habanero fried fish tacos with spicy for $4.99. Home run B) caldo de mariscos. $12.59 for a large ...and it's honestly enough to share They really do load it with seafood....unlike most other places

    Family order Fish and shrimp.

This mom and pop seafood place may look a bit shady on the outside but the food is delicious. We ordered a family order and ate in ,had plenty of leftovers and service was great as well place was small but waitress still made it her business to check if we needed anything . It's a definite when in San Antonio . Corpus is definitely missing out .

    Whole Mojarra.

Stopped by the restaurant today as I was looking for a fish/seafood place in the area. I ordered the whole fried Mojarra with fries and coleslaw. Let me start with the service. Kudos to the cashier and the server who brought the food out and the busser. They were all very friendly and welcoming! I appreciate the hospitality. Now for the food. The shrimp had a good flavor and would order it again. The whole fried Mojarra was ok and not as flavorful as I have had in the places and the fries and coleslaw were good. Overall it's a solid 3 stars for the food being good and the excellent service provided by all the staff!

Been coming to this place for years, I love how fresh my food is when I get it. I also enjoy the slices of bread that they include with every meal! Nice dine in spot in the south side of San Antonio, I live on the NE side and I go get my fish here so that says something!

Fish and Shrimp so delicious that the fries are only on the table all the other vegetables are gone. Using the private room that was very clean and Bus man cleaning up the area after some of the Guest were done with there meal.

We ordered the calamari, the oyster platter and the shrimp platter. The calamari was great but there was no marinara sauce with it, in fact no sauce at all. It was the same with the oyster platyer and shrimp platter. The cashier said there was red sauce on the bar but it was real watery. I think with a marinara sauce and real cocktail sauce everything would have been delicious, and they would have gotten 5 stars from me. It was fresh and has good flavor, just needed condiments to go with it. The prices weren't bad all this food and drinks for $30.

Restaurant was freezing. I ordered the grilled red snapper garlic flavor. Side order of salad and steamed vegetables., the snapper was ok but could have been more flavorful. The steamed vegetables were cold. The salad was petite. My partner ordered the jumbo fish burger with fries. It looked delicious.,the fries were good.

    Under cooked fish

Yesterday we went to go get dinner and what we got was fish that fell apart easily it was almost inedible it was so gross we had to throw it out. As soon as we picked one up it fell apart it tasted really bad. We didn't go through the hassle of taking it back because my daughter was feeling sick. So we no longer wanted to go back. We basically wasted almost $45 for Tea ,fries, and Mac and cheese which by the way they no longer have the cheesy shells anymore. For being how expensive it is it sucks it was not made right. It's also very disappointing because this is a place we do like to go.

    Baked fish and shrimp

Gross about sums it up. I ordered the baked fish and shrimp plate. I've never had fish soup before and the fish was so fishy. The flavor of the soup was spicy but blah. The carrots and zucchini that was in it was ok but not that flavorful. The cocktail sauce was so watery it didn't have much flavor at all. Asked for pure horseradish and made my own with ketchup. The pure horseradish was not very hot. SMH. Maybe old? The cucumbers on the salad was not white and they were slimy. The baked fish was blah. No flavor. The shrimp was ok. The fried shrimp had a weird flavor and putting a ton of sauce on it didn't help. Still have the nasty flavor in my mouth. I think the grease was old. The fries tasted like fish. The coleslaw was old. It was very runny. I seriously don't see how this place is still open. I hope I don't get sick. I didn't eat much. I usually eat all of my food.

I had the lunch special, which was one filet and two shrimp and two sides. The filet and shrimp were very well seasoned and cooked. Loved the tarter sauce and salsa. This is a great fast food seafood restaurant.

    Soggy fries from long wait

Beware of this location. Double check your bags in front of them!!! Manager will accuse you of lying about missing items (even something as small as $3!). Our family has been a customer for many years and usually orders every Sunday at all locations. Sadly this won't be the case anymore. Today's experience has tarnished their reputation. Terrible customer service from young inexperienced manager. I Checked my small pick up order as soon as I got in the car. Order was missing a $3 order of okra (no big deal. went back to let them know) they insisted they gave it to me and asked to search my bags.. I thought that was weird but I still Brought the bags back to show them and manager Jesse looked upset like if I was lying and said he'd replace it. After a long wait I received my small 2 oz okra and drove home with soggy fries and fish from the wait. Got home to find another part of the order was wrong (large mash instead of rice). Normally none of this would be an issue but the fact that the manager kept insisting he gave us the correct order even after taking my bags back, prompted me to call and let them know they did in fact mess up or give us the wrong order. He continued accusing us of having received a first order of okra and said they had it on camera?? It was extremely rude and frustrating for the manager to not acknowledge they messed up our order, inconvenience us with an even longer wait, continue to accuse us and say he gave us an "extra" order of okra even after I showed him our bags. It wasn't extra, it was a replacement from the one I never received. Guess I should have let him search our car too?! He still stands by giving us a correct order and probably thinks I hid or ate an order of okra in my car immediately after receiving the bags. Like who even has the time to make up a lie about a small side order missing, it was $3 I just wanted it replaced without the accusations. I also let him know we didn't want anything in return, replaced or redo of the order. He just needed to know he is wrong and should not accuse customers for something he mixed up. Owners need to replace or reprimand the manager Jesse for accusing long time customers of lying about missing items even after checking the bags and failing to acknowledge, apologize and just simply and kindly replace it. We definitely will not be going back to this location.

Despite the staff shortage, we placed a significant order for at least ten drinks. My husband had made a reservation for 6:00 PM. However, at approximately 7:30 PM, after we had already placed our drink order, a staff member informed my husband that our table reservation was only valid for two hours. Concerned about the impending two-hour limit and the delay in receiving our drinks, which had still not arrived by 7:45 PM, we inquired with our bartender about potentially canceling our order. He reassured us, stating that other tables were available should additional patrons arrive. Our subsequent visit, on Saturday, July 25, 2026, was solely with my husband. We arrived punctually, approximately five minutes before our 7:30 PM reservation. A female bartender directed us to a small, two-person table, despite the presence of two larger, seemingly more comfortable, unoccupied tables nearby. While initially assuming these larger tables might be reserved for a bigger party, the selection felt somewhat restrictive given the availability. Our seating unfortunately placed us adjacent to another patron who was using an additional chair to prop up her footwear, which contributed to an unpleasant atmosphere. The bartender then approached our table and asked if it was our first time, to which we replied it was not. She then asked if we knew what we wanted to order. We requested a brief moment to review the menu. However, we then waited for approximately fifteen minutes for her to return. Eventually, my husband had to actively call her over to place our order. Our initial drinks arrived after another ten to fifteen minutes. Subsequently, my husband attempted to catch the bartender's attention to order another round and request water. However, she was engaged in a lengthy conversation, estimated at ten minutes, with the neighboring patron and proceeded to walk past our table without acknowledging us. This extended period of being overlooked led to considerable frustration for my husband, who then felt compelled to approach the main bar directly to place our order and obtain water from a different bartender. It was only after this that the initial female bartender finally approached our table, asking if we needed anything. Considering the relatively small size of the establishment and the fact that there were only three occupied tables at the time, the level of inattentive and delayed service was particularly disappointing and, frankly, perplexing.
