Had my laptop battery replaced today, and I'm very satisfied. I called in to check the availability, brought my laptop in and got it done within an hour. My case: I had my own new battery for the laptop. The only thing that concerned me was that one of my screw is completely stripped/ damaged. No matter how I tried, I couldn't take it out. I called another place talking abt my case, and they said they could try to help me out, but they might break the cover, and it would cost about $300 (labor included) to replace the battery & the new cover. I was very concerned, but I'm glad I called this place. Jeff told me upfront that it would be $45 for battery replacement. After taking a look of my laptop & the broken screw, he decided to give it a shot, and charged me $10 more for it. It was ready within 1 hour. I can't be happier. I headed down to frys Electronics for an estimate and they don't work on Macs. Then I went to Geek Squad and wanted $150 just for an ESTIMATE!!! I headed down to JC computers because I worked with their phone repair service called IMach. Jeff figured out the problem with my MacBook Pro instantly. I brought in my laptop to be fixed after I had already taken it apart attempting to fix myself, then screwed it up in the process causing it to be completely nonfunctional.
