Order: burger and potatoes Pros: the burger was decent! Cons: the potatoes were very salty. I did not finish them. I wish they would have had french frys though.

The service was great!!! Our server was sweet and very attentive. I gave it a 3 star rating because the food was disappointing. It was just OK to me. I got the J Christopher eggs Benedict, and the eggs weren't that runny; taste was subpar, I added more salt and pepper...it was nothing to rave about it. I've had better at other establishments. The grits definitely needed more seasoning too and my hubby can make better grits at home.. The one thing I can rave about is the delicious cup of Spanish latte I received. I drank it all up once the temp dropped to something I could handle! It was scorching hot! Definitely would get it again. I'm not sure if I'll be back again as I live in WR so I would not drive out of my way to go..maybe if I'm already in the area, I will.

Nice brunch place, sans the mimosas. I keep hearing there is no where to eat breakfasts on Sundays around the area, but this is a great spot. It was lightly filled, four tables including ourselves on a Tuesday right at 11. Friendly service, food delivered fairly quick and fresh. We came from the gym down the road and only wanted a quick bite. We ordered two cups of coffee which comes out as bottomless carafe, but a charge for two, so drink up! We split the Huevos Avocado, so I can't speak for much else on the menu, but this hit the spot. Avocado and pico was fresh, poached egg runny yummy! Very large booths, great for families. Fun modern American art on the walls, a sprinkle of other pieces and photos included. Good conversation pieces. We'll be back in hopes to be sure of 5 stars :)

Our waitress was super nice and attentive, even when we were walking to the door one of the staff was sitting outside at a table and greeted us. Everyone seemed friendly. Food was served quickly and the Huevos Avacado was extremely delicious!

I went to visit a friend in this area and was looking for a cute little brunch spot for us to eat at. This is literally the only brunch spot besides the regular known chains. (Cracker Barrel, Ihop etc) I checked Yelp before going, and I wasn't impressed by the pics of the food but for the most part they had pretty good reviews besides the ones that I SHOULD have listened to (The bad ones) When we got there the parking lot was empty... 1st red flag. When we walked in we were greeted and told to sit wherever we wanted. We sat down and immediately realized that it was colder inside then outside, and it was pretty cold that day. So we decided to keep our coats on cause it was freezing. I hate being uncomfortable while eating. Anywho the waitress came over to take our order I asked her a couple of times like what she recommended, if she had any favorites? and she was like super bland about it like "yea you might like the pancakes... or the scrambles skillets are pretty good" I guess that was my 2nd hint I missed. I guess she was secretly trying to tell me to get the heck out of dodge. Once our food came we were highlyyyyy disappointed. Well when she brought my food over it didn't look bad, it actually looked pretty satisfying. Well let me just say this "Everything that glitter ain't gold" Our food was not hot at all... it wasn't even warm for that matter, everything had an after taste. My waffle was as hard as a brick, everything was bland and it just wasn't made with love and it showed. My friend ordered some type of scramble skillet with like spinach and the whole dish was as dry as the Sahara Desert. The spinach wasn't cooked well, and the funny part about her dish it was served in like a cast iron skillet with a hand mit to hold it with but guess what it wasn't hottttt. I could have grabbed the skillet from the bottom with my bare hands. Maybe the cast iron was just for show. Anywho, if you're trying to go to flavor town Don't come here. We actually left and went straight to Cracker Barrel. The 1 star out of 5 was definitely for the orange juice. The orange is delicious, it taste freshly squeezed and I love that. Other then that I have nothing nice to say, and I won't be returning or recommending.

DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT VISIT J. Christopher's located at 220 Starcadia Cir, Macon, GA 31210. If you send your food back because there was an issue with it do not expect to receive fresh food. They will bring you the same food you sent back. As a customer I have the option to not want real silverware in my food and opt for plastic so if I don't want real silverware in my food I shouldn't recieve backlash or paper in my grits for that. The only good part about my visit today was the host who was so hospitable and bubbly. I wish we could've had her as our server as she was the only person to check on us since our server ignored us the entire visit. Also make sure to check your receipts because our server tried to charge us for my meal that had been sent back and never eaten.

Blueberry pancake with butter and granola
    Ariel S.

Woke up this morning wanting a good breakfast and a taste of something I've never had. I came across breakfast place in Macon that had wonderful reviews and tried them out. I ordered the blueberry crunch pancake, eggs and cheese, bacon, and homemade potatoes just to be simple. It was actually better than expected. The bacon was crispy but not too hard and the blueberry pancake with the granola came out to be a super nice mixer. They had a lot of good looking things on the menu including a dietary and healthy side. I plan to try something different next time. Also the wait wasn't too long and the staff were friendly and respectful.

Strawberry crepe, blueberry granola pancake, and two goddess omelettes.
    Kashai S.

I have been here several times now, but I'm rating them three stars because they are inconsistent. Sometimes we go and the food is great. The omelettes are well seasoned, the pancakes are fluffy and full of granola, and the skillet is cooked well and comes out hot. Other times we come and the pancakes are flat and rubbery, EVERYTHING needs salt, and the food come out cold or lukewarm. The service is always pretty good, I've never had an order come out wrong. I wish they were more consistent because then this would be a 5 star breakfast spot! COVID may have something to do with this though, maybe they are training new cooks quite often with the shortage of people willing to work. Idk, but I will probably come back at some point, since there aren't many breakfast places outside of WH, HH, Cracked Barrel, and IHOP.

Goddess omelet cheese grits and wheat toast
    Robin S.

Grabbed a quick breakfast from here and it was pretty good. I got the goddess omelet and toast and grits. The grits are so good at first I thought they have me regular grits but I'm guessing they use cream cheese or a white cheese because they definitely had cheese in them. The omelet was good it came with tomatoes and pretty sure it's supposed to be egg white and has spinach but I wish it came with avocado. I love that this place uses preserves and not jelly because preserves taste so much better. That's all I really have for this one since I got it togo

Excellent. Service. We arrived just before noon on Sunday seated right away. Order came fairly quickly . Our waitress did an excellent job of checking on us at just the right time. Fairly busy as many folks were getting out of church. Nice atmosphere. Food was yummy

Located in Downtown Macon, parking is available via street parking. Finding a close spot on the weekend is like winning the Mega Million, possible, but don't count on it. We lucked up on this night and found a spot directly across from the restaurant. As we made our way to the entrance, we were unexpectedly greeted by a woman passionately yelling obscenities at us. Nothing like a little downtown ambiance to set the mood. Thankfully, the heavy police presence on every corner made me feel safe enough to proceed to the restaurant. Once inside, the chaos faded instantly. We were welcomed by a gregarious and friendly staff, informed them of our reservation, and were seated immediately. On this particular Saturday, they weren't overly busy, so we even had the luxury of choosing which booth best suited our comfort level. The atmosphere is intimate and upscale without being stuffy. Think dim lighting, elegant music, exposed ceilings, and décor that says "rustic charm" but also "yes, this entrée will cost more than $30." Our waiter was professional, attentive, and genuinely pleasant, the kind of service that makes you relax and stop checking the time. We started with cocktails: I ordered the strawberry lemon drop martini, and my husband opted for an old fashioned. Both were well-crafted, smooth, and strong enough to make us forget about the crazy lady outside. For appetizers, we each ordered the crab cake. You get one small crab cake, but it was tasty and respectable by Middle Georgia standards. Entrées are à la carte, so order accordingly. I ordered the Chilean sea bass with Brussels sprouts and spinach, while my husband chose the salmon with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. Both fish dishes were cooked perfectly and tasted fresh, with sauces that paired beautifully. The Brussels sprouts were crispy, flavorful, and addictive. My husband said his mashed potatoes were possibly the creamiest he's ever had. All of the food was outstanding. Dessert options include their 3rd & Cherry cobbler, cheesecake, and crème brûlée. Heads up: desserts are made to order and take about 20 minutes. Translation, order dessert early unless you're prepared to sit there long enough to contemplate life choices. The restaurant and restrooms were clean, which always earns bonus points. Overall, we had a lovely experience at 3rd & Cherry. It's an excellent choice for a special occasion, date night, or anytime you want to feel a little fancy without leaving Middle Georgia. We'll definitely be back.
