Miracle Fix: Jose and Lorenzo Saved My Miata. Answer to my…read moreprayers. Expert welders and fabricators. My Mazda developed a loud rattling and knocking noise underneath and no one could figure out why. I went to eight different shops. Each one gave me a different guess: heat shields, engine mounts, catalytic converter, "play in the differential," you name it. Nothing made sense, and the noise was so annoying at red lights and/or with foot on the brake . Finally, one honest shop (Thanh Auto in Garden Grove) spotted the real culprit: a big clean crack in the aluminum mounting bracket attached to the differential housing. Every mechanic I spoke with afterward told me the same thing: "Only solution is to drop the entire differential and replace it." Translation: very expensive. Thanh's expert ( Keith) suggested welding the crack, but every welding shop I contacted said the same thing -- "No space. We'd have to remove the differential before welding. Almost as costly as replacing the whole diff." Then I found Jose at OC Fabrication on Yelp. Within minutes of sending him a photo, he replied ...fast, professional, and confident. He said it might be doable without removing the diff, but he needed to inspect in person. He even gave me two honest estimates: a higher price if the diff needed to come out, and a much lower one if he could reach it in place. He squeezed me in after hours the very next day. He and his welder Lorenzo crawled under the car, inspected the crack, and confirmed they could do it without removing anything. They carefully jacked the differential to realign the broken ear, cleaned the aluminum, welded it beautifully, and then reinforced it with additional metal. All in under 90 minutes. When we test drove the car afterward -- night and day. Smooth. Quiet. Solid. The rattling and knocking that haunted me for a weeek? Gone. Jose told me straight: most shops wouldn't even attempt this kind of repair. But he and Lorenzo took it on with skill, confidence, pride in their craft, and real customer care. They solved a problem that eight other shops shrugged at. I can't recommend these guys enough. Professional, talented, honest, and genuinely passionate about their work. Bravo, Jose and Lorenzo. Many thanks. Bonus: Their shop is amazing -- full of unique custom fabrication projects, metalwork, and creative builds. Kudos for their skill and craftsmanship and care.

Very nice doors that are about 11-12 years old, but the double-door's lower locking pin broke and I could only open one side of the double doors. I got in touch with Jordan at Naddour's Custom Metalworks to find out about getting it repaired. She spoke with their manager at their manufacturing center and discovered the same parts used with the older door were no longer available. The good news was updated parts were available at a very reasonable price. They would have to just slightly modified for our older door. Great! I booked the repair appointment ASAP and Edgar came from the factory to do the repairs. He showed up at the house and was very nice and professional. He got to work quickly with removing the old parts and installing the new ones. Thankfully, this repair could be done without removing one side or both of the iron doors. He modified the parts, installed them within a little over 2 hours, the repairs were completed. Both doors open and close tightly again. I'm planning on buying an extra set of top and bottom latches for the door, in case I need them later on or the next owner needs them in the future. It was great working with Jordan, Edgar and Carlo at Naddour's Custom Metalworks. Everyone was really friendly, professional and very helpful with getting the doors fixed as soon as possible. If we wanted to put iron doors on our next house, I would definitely call this company to purchase them. 5 Stars for the great customer service!

However, the masonry wall which the 3rd gate was attached to began to move after the gate was installed. Therefore, it was necessary to demo the existing masonry wall and construct a new wall. I contacted Naddour's after the new wall was completed requesting that they confirm a date and time when they could install the gate. I called twice and also texted but never received a return call. I was able to contact another gate company who agreed to install the gate. I am very disappointed in Naddour's as I paid $19,021 for the door and gates and was willing to pay for installation of the gate to the new wall.

I installed a handrail on my front porch, which they did not treat as too small a job. The workers came, were courteous, and did a great job. We've had our share of poor contractors' shoddy work. I had a very disappointing experience with Hand Crafted Metalworks…read more From the beginning, I was extremely clear about what I wanted. I provided a reference photo on the very first day and made it known that I am very detail-oriented, especially because this was a major custom staircase railing project costing around $20,000. I wanted the finished product to closely match the design, proportions, style, and overall look of the reference photo. Unfortunately, the process became frustrating and confusing. Instead of feeling like my vision was being understood and executed, I repeatedly felt like the design was being scaled back, reinterpreted, or changed from what I had originally requested. Multiple revisions were needed because key details were not reflected properly, including how the railings were supposed to continue down the lower steps and terminate at the bottom. One major issue was that the shop drawings showed a rectangular/square wood cap, even though the reference photo I provided showed a round wood handrail. That was a major design difference, not a small detail. For a custom project of this size, I expected the drawings to accurately reflect the design direction I had communicated from the start. Another major frustration was the coordination process. I hired Hand Crafted Metalworks expecting them to manage the project. Instead, I felt like I was being put in the middle between their metal team and their wood subcontractor. I was connected directly with the wood subcontractor, who appeared to be unaware of important details, including that the wood was already part of the original quote. At one point, it felt like I was being asked to coordinate or clarify things that should have been handled internally by the contractor. There was also confusion around the timeline. A timeline that had been discussed as approximately six weeks later appeared to become September, which was a significant difference. When I asked for clarification, the conversation became defensive instead of simply explaining the scheduling change. Overall, my frustration is not just about one isolated issue. It is about the entire process: repeated miscommunication, inaccurate design assumptions, unclear subcontractor coordination, changing expectations, and a feeling that I had to keep fighting to preserve the original design vision I clearly communicated from day one. For a high-end custom project, I expected a much smoother and more professional process. Instead, I felt like I had to constantly correct, clarify, and manage details that should have been understood and handled by the company. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. I'd post only after the credit card dispute is filed, not before, and keep screenshots/emails organized in case they respond publicly.
