Not terrible, not great. But our pepperoni and olive pizza was way too salty! It was like they actually sprinkled additional salt on the pizza, which would be pretty weird. But that one issue ruined it. I really wanted to like it, too. Behind that sodium bomb was a decent pizza. The crust was okay while it was oven fresh and hot. But as we ate, it degraded into that frozen pizza texture. Certainly was not hand tossed, freshly made dough. We also got some forgettable wings with no choice of heat level. Cambria, CA!!! oh my God people. talk about a ghost town for restaurants and delivery. Spent 30-40 minutes finding a place that offered delivery services. J J's Pizza was it. they not only answered the phone right away the say "yes" when i asked, "do you deliver?" I stayed at a nearby hotel which sucked in their customer service area. I will write a review of the hotel we stayed and our stressful experience at that hotel. anyways- since this pizza place was the only place near by and open that delivered, I was honestly expecting a bad or mediocre pizza...but to my surprise...IT WAS THE BEST PIZZA AND BUFFALO WINGS I've had in years. I ordered the Pepperoni and the buffalo wings. The pizza had Lots of cheese it was so good and it did not give me the case of unquenchable thirst afterwards. The Wings were fully cooked and the meat was tender and juicy. The burgers are amazing and crispy, a medium sized pizza is enough to serve 2 pizza lovers. If your by yourself get a small or a mini. The staff is super nice, but the service is SLOOOOOWWWW. The food is not great. Pizza crust was dry. I ordered a mediterranean. Pizza which was supposed to have sun-dried tomatoes, but the sun-dried tomatoes were actually burnt. You couldn't even tell what they were. My kids are very picky when it comes to pizza, but they each wouldn't eat more than a half of a slice. The Decour is really busy, and probably needs an upgrade. While staying at Cambria Beach Lodge, we were looking for food to be delivered to our room (so we didn't miss the sunset) JJ's Pizza for the win! JJ's Pizza has amazing staff, very understanding of the cell phone service issues in the area. They were so patient and very kind. The driver who dropped off our food could not have been nicer-- so sweet. They provided with the food we ordered, provided plates, napkins and utensils (I did not think to ask, so they saved me once again) JJ's should probably change their name to "Save The Day" pizza; they definitely helped make our trip one to remember. I forgot to mention, their delivery estimate was spot on and we finished our pizza in enough time to truly enjoy the waves roll in and the sunset! Thanks, JJ's! Keep up the great work! read more

This is my go to place in Cambria for pizza. They are generous with the toppings and especially generous with the cheese, though the crust is just sort of meh. Compared to the other pizza place in town (J&B), this place is 5 stars, but compared to other pizza places in the world, it's 3 stars at the most. Seems like the local pizza joint in Cambria. (Visitors tip, the further away from Highway 1, the less touristy places in Cambria are.) Pizza was pretty sold, nothing spectacular but good. No fresh sliced tomatoes, no basil. Awful. The crust was white and soft. The Hawaiian pizza was slightly better but the Canadian bacon was buried under a thick slab of Mozzarella. Bad customer service, Frozen ingredients, dingy/small claustrophobic dining room, long delivery time, not coming here again.

Worst pizza experience ever. Guy behind counter was extremely rude like he hates all tourists. Pizza was pricey but he wouldn't even give us a cup of ice water without charging. He snapped at us that 'We're in a drought and water isn't free!' Wow. Pizza had one single, lonely anchovy on the entire pie. When I picked up that piece the cheese and contents slide right off from the tomato sauce and dough cause it was wet. I complained and he came from behind counter and opened a small tin of anchovies and then slammed it down spilling oil out onto our table. We were so disgusted with him we turned the can upside down on the table allowing all the contents to spill out then left. If he acts this way to our faces, imagine what he does to our pizzas when we aren't watching him! read more

So we ran into my cousin @ moonstone beach. We had been thinking of eating at our fave regular BBQ spot in Cambria, but he recommended this spot. Tucked up into the top of the hill, we walked right to the counter & ordered our mini pizzas: 1. combo, no mushroom, add artichoke 2. Mexican 3. Garlic bread. Now the garlic bread was decent, but the pizzas were fabuloso!! I think the crispy crust just makes it. The toppings were fresh & tasty. Our order came out in about 10 minutes by a smiley dude. All the staff there were super on top of things & asking if we needed anything else. I just like that about a restaurant. Customer service is definitely a huge plus.
