The ambiance was super cute and there was live piano, which I love! He was really good. The food was super delicious, very authentic, I do wish there were larger portions but the cost seemed fair for the amount of food present. Our server was very nice and attentive, we appreciated it. Overall a great place to eat and enjoy the scenery! I did notice there was a gorgeous patio that was dog friendly, just FYI!

Strange place. The waiter was nice but very different. We ordered warm bread with olive oil. It was AWFUL! The pasta was very good but the weird vibe and exterior space could not be overcome by the food. The inside might have been better and our fog did impact the experience. But it was not above three stars.

Giovanni and Aaron at Harmony Cafe...such excellent service! Can't wait to go back!

We had a wonderful experience at the Harmony Cafe. It was my wife and my second visit and this time we brought our son and his girlfriend. We had a blast with our waiter Aaron...such excellent service and so much fun. The food was terrific. My wife had the pappardelle pasta with mushroom ragu and it was amazing. I had the lamb shank which was melt-in-your-mouth amazing. The filets that our son and his girlfriend had were also very good. Giovanni, the owner/chef came out to visit a couple of times. One of our favorites in Cambria!

Adorable and delicious! Great dog friendly patio with some shade, some sun, and the cutest little orange bistro tables. Our server was very friendly, attentive, and helpful (thank you Aaron!) and it was an overall awesome experience. The ambiance of the garden/patio with a peekaboo view of downtown Cambria was unparalleled and uniquely pleasing. It was somehow quiet and secluded without being closed off from the world, and time even seemed to slow when we were there. The chicken ciabatta, eggplant burger, angel hair, and mixed plate are all incredible! 11/10, I felt transported to an Italian bistro and never wanted to leave!

We had a delicious lunch at Harmony Cafe! Our group of four had the Portabella Sandwich, the Eggplant Burger, the Roasted Mushroom and Truffle pizza and a side salad. All the dishes were amazing and the pizza is one of the best I've had! The chef, Giovanni, came to our table and was friendly and pleasant. To end we shared the tiramisu and gelato. Both were so yummy!

Casual outdoor garden with spectacular social distancing.

This spot was clean, friendly and had a cute garden like ambiance. The food was good/Ok. I gave this cafe 4 stars because the service as amazing . The server was an authentically amazing person. We would go back just to be served by her. The vanilla gelato was a perfect way to finish our lunch.

But we got soup and salad first and after we finished it the bread was still not coming. After we finished the bread, we had to wait for about 10 minutes. The waitress had to come to apologize. I saw the mediocre reviews here on Yelp, but that can go either way sometimes. So, we gave it a try. The server was pleasant and it was clear she wanted to do a good job; no complaint there. The food however, is absolutely terrible. There is zero flavor to anything. And the prices for what you get and how it tastes are ridiculous. My wife had chicken Alfredo (pictured) except that it's not an Alfredo sauce. It's a creamier version of a flavorless butter sauce. There is also no flavor to the chicken whatsoever. The entire dish really has nothing to offer. I had the ravioli and asked to upgrade to meat sauce which seemed to be a concern of the server as far as making that happen. She was able to do it though but made sure I knew I would be charged extra for it... no problem. I expect that. I also asked for the dinner salad which costs $7.95 and you can eat it in five bites. That's a bit ridiculous especially at a place like this. Once my ravioli came it was also completely flavorless. The red sauce is just a tomato-y bland paste of a sauce. The meat was literally just ground beef with an overkill of oregano. Nothing else. "Garlic" bread comes with every meal but it's really just buttered toast. This was quite disappointing. Best to look elsewhere. We won't be back.

Seeing that there was a Patio and that everywhere I had been up to that point, including our hotel, had allowed dogs, I walked over with my tiny pup in his little carry bag. When we arrived, I saw that the patio was enclosed, so I realized I might have to take my pup back to the hotel, but then saw an open air spot with tables and chairs in the parking lot. I would have been willing to sit there and order, so my companion went to ask if that was possible, but was given a very quick and rude "we're not pet friendly", which I was an attitude I was already catching on to as I walked closer and saw unnecessarily large "no pets" signs. I was offended, not for the policy, but because I was already starting to see that was the case & it would have been so easy just to say it gently or nicely & acknowledge that our inquiry was no longer about coming into the restaurant or patio at all. That response made the difference between us taking the doggo back to the hotel room to return for dinner or writing a negative review apparently, because it felt condescending and no food experience is worth feeling unwelcome - especially when every place surrounding the area was completely pet friendly. They are located on a beach, but that day with not-so-relaxed vibes when a simple redirect would have been perfectly fine. I'm a pet person, and it's ok if that's not something you accommodate, I completely understand (especially, sadly, because some pet owners are not responsible, and their pets act like animals and not necessarily family members) - but there's no excuse for being rude when your entire job is service. You're in a beach spot where people come to relax with the people (or animal companions) they love most, no need to have an unfortunate attitude. :( Sorry restaurant/ chef/ other staff, I really would have liked to try the food. P.S. Dog-friendly places can happily have all my money, cheers to patio dining in (most of) California.

The Clam Chowder tasted like flour and needed salt. The Soy Ginger Mahi Mahi was presented with the Soy Ginger sauce on the side, rather than being cooked in. It was so bland you had to search for the flavor of the sauce. I'm not sure how a dish with soy needed more salt, but it certainly did. Rather than it being a reduction or the fish actually cooked in it, it was just flavorless. And don't get me started on my Halibut. All of the fish is cooked in butter, which should give it some flavor, but it did not. We are usually plate-cleaners, but we both ate only about half of our meal. Lackluster, boring, bland. I would say it was a one-note flavor, but you'd have to have some flavor for that to be true. The only positive I have about the fish is that it was fresh, so I guess there's something. The service was fine. I can imagine what it's like to have an entire restaurant sat at the same time, so there should be some forgiveness there. But for $200 for two people for one appetizer, two entrees, and three glasses of wine, I would expect to be able to get through the meal.

Kept our waters full and checked on us several times during our visit. Let's get down to it. The moment that counts. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer. They were FANTASTIC. They were stuffed with a feta type cheese and were absolutely delish! My main dish wass the Filet Mignon. I ordered it medium. It came with veggies and mashed potatoes. When the steak showed up it looked good and I cut into the steak. It was done to perfection. It had some kind of JD whiskey sauce on it. I took a bite and it was awesome. SO much flavor. I was in heaven. It was like eating candy. I have always considered The Range in Santa Margarita the best but THIS, yeah this was going to be hard to beat! The Sows Ear was now top dog! The mashed potatoes were epic as well. Perfectly cooked and very creamy. The veggies, (broccoli, squash, and carrots), were great as well. Not a huge squash fan but they did not over do the squash and it was just full of flavor. This REALLY went well when it came to the food. The portions were spot on. Lastly we come to the dessert. We had the Mud Pie. Yep, it was a HUGE piece for less than $10.00. Great value and man.........., was it good. Enough for 2 people.
