It was a nice cozy place with a nice view on one side of the restaurant. There was also outdoor seating but it was a little chilly in the evening so we chose to sit inside. You order at the counter, and you get a number. The order is brought to your table. The gentleman taking the order was very warm and sweet. We ordered the wings with mango habanero and garlic Parmesan alongside the garlic roasted chicken. The wings were hot and with generous sauce. The toppings on the pizza were very generous and it was very well cooked. The only thing I'd change would be make it thin crust, but it's personal preference. Stopped in on a Friday night around 8:30 with the whole family -- six of us, kids from toddler age all the way up to teens. The place had a great vibe, lots of TVs with sports on, and the staff made us feel right at home. Since we can never agree on one thing, we ordered pretty much everything -- two pizzas (Mexican and Meat Lovers), Pepe's Burger, Mango Habanero bone-in wings, and Luigi's Special sandwich. The burger was a highlight for me and my wife, the sandwich had my son coming back for more, and those fries were on point -- crispy and seasoned just right. The pizza was solid, though we're big crust people so that's just our personal taste. Honestly one of the best things about Luigi's is that they stay open later than most spots in Cambria. If you know the area, you know everything shuts down by 7 or 8. Having a place like this open late is a lifesaver, especially with a hungry family. We stopped at Luigi's on our way to Big Sur and I am so glad we did. We had their yummy charbroiled cheese burger and crispy seasoned fries. The burger tasted home made. We also shared a pizza that was equally delicious. The location is a little hidden so you need to be intentional about going to Luigi's and use the navigation. The restaurant is clean and spacious. They take your order at the register and then you sit at any available seat. The service is friendly and fast, just not fast food fast. I highly recommend this as a road trip stop! read more

We came here on our first night in town, and we had such a good experience that we came back on our final night as well. The pizza and salads were flavorful, their large patio was perfect for our husky, and the service was very friendly. They made us feel at home and even recognized us and welcomed us back when we came the second time. An additional highlight was that we were able to try the famous Linn's olalliberry pies: they warmed them up and served them with whipped cream. I stopped by this pizza place on my trip to see the Hearst castle. Me and my boyfriend came for Valentine's Day, we walked in and got seated right away. It is more casual so you order, pay, then sit wherever there's a table available. For both of us, we got the medium pizza and it was more than plenty. The nice part is you can do half and half so we did the roasted garlic chicken (amazing) and the supreme specialty. The supreme was okay, spicy for sure! The garlic chicken was delicious. We also got the olallieberry pie which was okay, too sour for my preference for a pie but it was my first time trying it. A olallieberry is a combo of a blackberry and raspberry so I wanted to try. The lemon pepper wings were also delicious, some of the best I've tried. I would say the roasted garlic pizza and lemon pepper wings would be what I'd get if I come back! Luigi's is on the top floor of what appears to have once been some sort of medical office building with a twin building next door. There is clear signage to find it. It is within walking distance from some local motels. They have an ample lot since most of the spaces in the building seem deserted. They have a decent amount of items on the menu other than pizza such as burgers and salads. Their pizza quality is better than most if not all fast food chains, but not as good as other local pizza places elsewhere. While we did not try them, several other customers who seemed to be locals got their burgers and salads, so there is a good change that these are at least decent quality. They have full bar with TVs for viewing sports on the side. The ordering/dining format is the recent blend of fast food and sit down. You order at the register with the fast food style menus and then go sit down at tables where order taker brings you your food. You get a number to put on your table. There are refillable fountain drinks as well as some bottled drinks. For the size of the place and the town, they got pretty good business on a Monday at 5:00 dinner. It was somewhat quiet and then got moderately noisy during our meal. The mini pizza is about a personal sized pizza. The pies are also personal sized, but especially if you get it à la mode, then two people can share it and get a good amount. Pricing is tourist pricing, but about standard for today's inflation and CA minimum ages laws. Overall, this is a good place to stop if you do not want a pricier restaurant and want more moderate pricing for the area. Probably not 4.5 stars as the Yelp average, but a definite 4 star experience and worth trying. read more

This is a fantastic spot for food on your way, or back from the Hearst Castle. There are very limited food options in the area and this one stood out based on its ratings. They offer a variety of options - pizzas (meat, vegetarian, gluten free), sandwiches and burgers, salad, pies etc. The menu had a lot of delicious options to choose from. We tried the pesto pizza (very generous amount of toppings, and very flavorful), salmon salad, salmon sandwich, black bean burger, cheese fries and apple and berry pies. Everything we tried was fantastic - the favorite was probably a tie between the black bean burger and the pizza. We took the food to-go but I recommend dining in. The place overlooks the valley and there is plenty of parking nearby. The prices are also very reasonable. The service was fast and friendly. Everything we got was essentially glorified frozen food up-priced a ton. The potato wedges were tasty and standard and a hefty portion, while the jalapeño popper were very mediocre and too heavy on the batter. Hamburger was decent but dry. Wel,l we got so lucky finding this gem on Yelp while staying at the Cavalier Resort in San Simeon. The reviews lead us to the friendliest service and food. Their combo pizza was amazing and seriously better than any pizza I've had in a long time. We also ordered their Cobb Salad which was incredible and loaded with goodies and real bacon and walnuts! We were hungry our first night in Cambria and wanted a good pizza so decided to stop here after reading reviews. Plus, it was close to where we are staying. It was decorated for Christmas and there were Disney characters in the dining hall. We even saw a cute minion. The pizzeria itself is pretty big and I was surprised. It is great for small and big parties. There is plenty of room. As for the food, we ordered a Hawaiian pizza, house salad with Italian dressing, and a hamburger with fries. The pizza was very yummy. Great tasting, hot, and not too cheesy. The ham was fresh and not too salty. The salad was a favorite, too. I actually wanted more. Hamburger was charbroiled and had a great taste and smelled delicious. Fries were really good and seasoned with perfection. We may be back during this trip if we cannot find any other places to eat or if we want more pizza before we leave.
