We're in town for a 3-day getaway and obviously wanted to partake in wineries and dining options. We decided on Italian for one of the three nights and Lombardi's kept coming up in our searches. I saw the mediocre reviews here on Yelp, but that can go either way sometimes. So, we gave it a try. The server was pleasant and it was clear she wanted to do a good job; no complaint there. The food however, is absolutely terrible. There is zero flavor to anything. And the prices for what you get and how it tastes are ridiculous. My wife had chicken Alfredo (pictured) except that it's not an Alfredo sauce. It's a creamier version of a flavorless butter sauce. There is also no flavor to the chicken whatsoever. The entire dish really has nothing to offer. I had the ravioli and asked to upgrade to meat sauce which seemed to be a concern of the server as far as making that happen. She was able to do it though but made sure I knew I would be charged extra for it... no problem. I expect that. I also asked for the dinner salad which costs $7.95 and you can eat it in five bites. That's a bit ridiculous especially at a place like this. Once my ravioli came it was also completely flavorless. The red sauce is just a tomato-y bland paste of a sauce. The meat was literally just ground beef with an overkill of oregano. Nothing else. "Garlic" bread comes with every meal but it's really just buttered toast. This was quite disappointing. Best to look elsewhere. We won't be back.

Very nice dinner! Service was excellent. Quaint inside dining. The manicotti was delicious! The seafood ravoli was not overwhelming in a fishy taste and exactly what my husband was looking for!

Stopped in, we had seen this place many times. This was our 1st visit and I must say, it seems like a small simple place but the food was fresh and tasty. The bread on the sandwhich was crispy but soft. It was full of flavor. The spaghetti with meat sauce was a nice portion and was very good. I do recommend this place everything is clean and tables are cleaned quickly. The waitstaff was friendly and I'd come here again for pasta and there arenice vegetarian items to choose from.

Must place to come. Best Italian restaurant here. Every visit is delicious. You won't be sorry. Picture is the stuffed shells and a personal pepperoni, sausage, mushroom and red onion pizza. The BEST!!

Pretty standard classic style Italian food! I always enjoy my meals here and the service is great! There's an older woman who is just an absolute gem, she works only a few days a week, and it's always a pleasure to see her! It's a smaller but cute hole in the wall type place on one of the side streets off Main and totally worth it! My only qualm is their chicken breast in some dishes doesn't seem to be seasoned so it's lacking a little flavor but the sauces they put over it make up for that because they're delish! And their tiramisu is to die for!!!

Our server was great. She was super sweet and attentive. The reason I gave this place a 1 star is because of the food. My family and I had lunch here and all ordered different things - eggplant parmigiana. Pesto pasta, mushroom and garlic pasta, and aglio olio pasta. Each dish was a disappointment especially for the price all being over $15. The eggplant parmigiana was very salty and eggplant was thick and soggy. The garlic and olive oil pasta was spicy because of the raw garlic and there were lots of it on top. The pesto pasta for some reason was sour. The mushroom and garlic pasta didn't have taste. The ambiance was very quiet, came in at 12/1pm for lunch on a Sunday for reference. I'd hate to say it but for $90 this was a disappointment and would have rather gone to olive garden. I hope this place does better because I would love to come back but I can't justify spending this amount for the taste and quality of the food.

The owner said he had a special Prosecco and that he had "a guy" who gets it for him special. He let us keep the bottle since it was our anniversary weekend. When we got back home, I googled the label on the bottle and to my surprise, it turned out his "guy" was Trader Joe. That was good for a few laughs. The dining in meals were at the restaurant's special events with a fixed menu and price. We met friends there for those meals. Both meals were nothing to write home or a review about. Our friends felt the same way. I thought eventually, we would dine there when we are in town enjoying our second home. After today, I will reconsider. My wife and I were near the cafe and she wanted to go into a particular shop. There was no parking spot available so I dropped her off and parked next to the cafe. I stayed in the car to wait for her. I noticed a crude handmade sign on an orange cone that read "parking for Harmony Cafe". There was one car ahead of me but I waited with the engine running. After about 5 minutes, a door opens from the side of the restaurant and a woman comes out. I didn't think anything of it. A few seconds later she comes out again and goes behind my car and takes a photo of my license plate. I thought that was hilarious. First of all, it's a public parking space that apparently the Harmony Cafe has commandeered with a makeshift sign. I have never seen another business in town do such a thing. Cambria is such a peaceful and relaxed place, very laid back but just don't park in the Harmony parking spots if you aren't a diner. I wonder what she does with the photos of those license plates.

When we arrived, I saw that the patio was enclosed, so I realized I might have to take my pup back to the hotel, but then saw an open air spot with tables and chairs in the parking lot. I would have been willing to sit there and order, so my companion went to ask if that was possible, but was given a very quick and rude "we're not pet friendly", which I was an attitude I was already catching on to as I walked closer and saw unnecessarily large "no pets" signs. I was offended, not for the policy, but because I was already starting to see that was the case & it would have been so easy just to say it gently or nicely & acknowledge that our inquiry was no longer about coming into the restaurant or patio at all. That response made the difference between us taking the doggo back to the hotel room to return for dinner or writing a negative review apparently, because it felt condescending and no food experience is worth feeling unwelcome - especially when every place surrounding the area was completely pet friendly. They are located on a beach, but that day with not-so-relaxed vibes when a simple redirect would have been perfectly fine. I'm a pet person, and it's ok if that's not something you accommodate, I completely understand (especially, sadly, because some pet owners are not responsible, and their pets act like animals and not necessarily family members) - but there's no excuse for being rude when your entire job is service. You're in a beach spot where people come to relax with the people (or animal companions) they love most, no need to have an unfortunate attitude. :( Sorry restaurant/ chef/ other staff, I really would have liked to try the food. P.S. Dog-friendly places can happily have all my money, cheers to patio dining in (most of) California.

I would totally recommend the Sow's Ear in Cambria. This place is everything you would expect and you will not be disappointed. Don't miss out on this place! Worth every penny. That is all! Have a great day!
