JJ's does not disappoint. Pizza is fresh, hot, and delicious. Great place to have lunch or dinner when you want good pizza, crunchy flavorful wings, a good burger, hot and fresh fries and onion rings. Will be back!

Very small quaint pizza place on the edge of town. We passed by and pizza and a beer sounded amazing. The pizza came out quick, and the taste was amazing. Real mozzarella for sure. Kinda pricey for a small pizza and 2 domestic beers , $34. But Cambria is probably a bit more pricey. Definitely to us worth it. The young girl at the register was less than friendly but I won't knock the stars for her attitude.

Everytime we come in to town we stop in to get our pizza fix from JJ's. The service is okay, the food is great and the restaurant has an old timey feel that's familiar. We'll usually sit out at one of their patio tables, but this time around, we ordered our pizza to go enjoy in our hotel room. We went with our usual order of Canadian bacon, pineapple and Jalapeños. The ranch is probably the only problem I had here. Otherwise, highly recommend!

My "self deconstructed" enchilada. This makes it not look so hot, but let me tell you! These Baja shrimp enchiladas are not ones to miss!

After spending the afternoon touring Hearst Castle - formally known as *La Cuesta Encantada ("The Enchanted Hill") - AR and I weren't up for going out again for dinner. So, we opted for delivery and decided on JJ's Pizza, one of the few spots in Cambria that specifically advertises delivery to local hotels. Perfect! (Thumbs up!) The food was solid - hot, tasty, and satisfying. The pizza, salad, and wings all hit the spot after a long day. So why only three stars? They forgot the basics. No plates, no napkins, no red pepper flakes, no straws. When delivering to a hotel, it seems reasonable to assume the guests don't have a stash of dinnerware or takeout essentials handy. Fortunately, they DID include forks with the salad - small mercy. JJ's Pizza delivered on taste and speed, but a bit more attention to the details would have made the experience much better. Not sure if this is JJ's standard for delivery, but if so, they might want to rethink what essentials they include - especially when delivering to a hotel. Disappointing. The food here was so very good! Plenty of cheese and toppings! The service was decent enough, if the food wasn't so good, I'd knock it down half a star. The ambience was just your general pizza parlor - not like a Chuck E. Cheese, not obnoxious or anything, but I've seen pizza parlors like J J's before, just not with good pizza!! Come for the pizza, what they lack they make up for in their food.

We were strolling along Main St in Cambria and we were craving Pizza. We had to walk at the end of Main St to find this pizza joint. I think this is the only pizza place on Main St. They have a huge parking in front of their store. Main Street is one of Cambria's main local tourist attractions and you'll see a lot of locally owned shops and eateries. It's a nice place just to stroll around and browse around the shops. We ordered their Mexican pizza - small size. The person behind the counter was very helpful and told us that the order would take 15 mins. The pizza was delicious and their small size was good enough for me and my wife. I've never had Mexican pizza before but after a slice, I had a liking for this pizza. We're glad to walk down Main St or we'll never find this place.

JJs was pretty average, but it was still a solid pizza. We needed something quick and easy and it did the job. The shop itself is a no frills place with only a few tables, so it was a good thing we were doing takeout anyways. They offer delivery as well like any good pizza joint. Staff were masked up and friendly. Our pizza was done within the quoted time. We got a medium half cheese half pepperoni pizza. They layer toppings within the cheese so on first glance you may think you got the wrong order, but once you bite into a slice you realize it's there. They do not skimp on cheese here, you get plenty. It wasn't anything life changing, but we were full after a couple of slices. If you are passing through and need to grab a bite, it will certainly do the trick. read more

We stopped in for a quick beer and a burger. I know it's a pizza place and a burger? And I will admit the pizza pies looked pretty darn good. But My "Marion Davies" mushroom burger was spot on. We love coming to JJ's for the wings. If you ask them to run it 3 times in the pizza oven they come out crunchy. Salads, burgers and pizzas are good too. Service is always friendly and ambiance is a typical pizzeria good for sit down and take out. Prices have gone up a bit since covid but so has the cost of living. read more

My wife and I have ordered pizza from JJ's a few times in the past several months. Being from out of town, its not like our favorite local place at home but it's good. The pizza has been hot, the cheese tasty and gooey and the sauce flavorful. The place is inviting and seems like a step back in time to a 70's pizza parlor. I will be back to try their burgers and sandwiches. And every time that I have been there, its been busy which says a lot for a small town like Cambria. read more

DELISH!!! I was pleasantly surprised at the large menu and not just pizza but I was wanting pizza. We ordered a medium, combination and they weren't shy with the toppings. Fat, juicy pieces of sausage, Canadian bacon, plenty of pepperoni and mushrooms, peppers, black olives snd red onions. I know I ordered a medium but it sure looked like a large pizza. I managed to eat 2 slices but it was force feed on the second slice. Service was great and employees friendly. I saw smiles on their faces. We plan on going back. read more

Came here from out of town, and the advertise they deliver right to your hotel room which was great. Food came very fast! Food was not great, it was tasteless and bland. We spent $60 for a large pizza, fried zucchini and a salad to be delivered. If I was going to compare it, frozen pizza would have tastes better. Update: food made both of us sick! read more

Good pizza. Some things I loved; some are just ok. Service was friendly and fast. Pizza took about 20 minutes and they were busy. Picked it up hot! to bring to our hotel room. Easy location to get in and out of. Extra toppings are pretty reasonable. Though I thought the pepperoni was skimpy. Lots of green peppers though. About $25 with tax. Loved their crust! At first I thought it was undercooked and wasn't crispy on bottom. But it ended up being an airier dough (though still thinner crust) and very flavorful. (And easily foldable.) A good amount of cheese but I thought the tomato sauce could have been a bit more. I know I'm being over-picky on my pizza while still wanting traditional East Coast, but that's the way I am. I would definitely get it again. I liked the crust airiness and the general flavor of the whole pie. I might ask that they put a bit more sauce on it. read more

I love leaving good reviews and always look for the best part of a meal to discuss. Positives- great ketchup packets and nice delivery guy. That's all. Ordered food for our crew and was not happy. We ordered pizza and bronco burgers. Check out the patty in the picture! It is paper thin! It was ridiculous. Crunchy thin, previously frozen meat. Yuck. The pizza was as good as frozen pizza from the store, quite nasty. Even the kids didn't care for it and it's pizza! They even like cafeteria pizza at school and this wasn't to their liking. In an area with very expensive food, this was a reasonable and tasty stop for dinner. For $39.00 we were able to feed our family of 4. I got the combo personal pizza. It was piled with toppings and the pizza was hot and fresh. My wife got a personal pizza and liked her as well. My boys ordered burgers. They were from frozen and thin like a Whopper patty. Boys had no complaints but they didn't look very good to me. The fries were hot fresh and plentiful. read more

Five stars for staff who were super friendly, professional, and efficient. Three stars for pizza which was dry (where was that sauce?), had mediocre at best crust (looke prefab and prescored per slice), and was very light on the onions but plentiful on the olives. Considering the quality, the price was high. Cambria is pricey but I don't mind paying for good food. We would have gotten better pizza at Dominos or PIzza Hut but those were not an option at 9:30PM on a Sunday. read more

I hate leaving a local business a less than stellar review, but overall the pizza was a miss for me. I ordered two items: meatball sub and medium pizza with olives/ mushroom/ pepperoni. Their pizza is SUPER light on sauce and it felt like it was only crust/ cheese/ toppings. This isn't my personal preference which is why it's a miss *for me*. On the other hand the meat ball sub was a HIT. It was served open face with plenty of sauce, meatballs were tender, bread fluffy AND crunchy, lots of cheese. I would come back to JJ's for the sandwich but not the pizza. read more

A friendly, family owned eatery with good pizza and salads. We had medium half pepperoni/combo pizza and green salads. The pizza sauce is flavorful and robust, generous toppings on a thin, crisp crust. The medium was enough to feed four adults and we also split a green salad. This doesn't look like much...but don't let it fool you. We have been getting Pizza here for 11 years and it is the best pizza in town. The prices are more than fair, the small pizza fed my husband and myself and they load it up with cheese and meat (we had sausage/pepperoni) It was so filling, we brought two pieces home. We have also had the hamburgers and a cold turkey sandwich. Both were great also...and very very big. You better be hungry when you come here. If you want just something simple after a day on the run...this is a great place in Cambria to come. Food is good-prices are good-staff is friendly. read more

It's ok. I got the combo, and it had a lot of things on it, But it just didn't seem to have that much flavor. Maybe needs more sauce, or more seasoning in the sauce? As it is, I would classify this as good pizza for kids, kind of meh for adults , if that makes sense. read more

If you like cheese this is your pizza place! Conveniently located on the way to the beach. The pizza is extremely cheesy and the sauce is delicious. They put their pepperoni under the cheese. All in all cute place with decent pizza. read more

The toppings on the pizza were very generous and it was very well cooked. The only thing I'd change would be make it thin crust, but it's personal preference. Definitely a place to try when you're around.

The dining in meals were at the restaurant's special events with a fixed menu and price. We met friends there for those meals. Both meals were nothing to write home or a review about. Our friends felt the same way. I thought eventually, we would dine there when we are in town enjoying our second home. After today, I will reconsider. My wife and I were near the cafe and she wanted to go into a particular shop. There was no parking spot available so I dropped her off and parked next to the cafe. I stayed in the car to wait for her. I noticed a crude handmade sign on an orange cone that read "parking for Harmony Cafe". There was one car ahead of me but I waited with the engine running. After about 5 minutes, a door opens from the side of the restaurant and a woman comes out. I didn't think anything of it. A few seconds later she comes out again and goes behind my car and takes a photo of my license plate. I thought that was hilarious. First of all, it's a public parking space that apparently the Harmony Cafe has commandeered with a makeshift sign. I have never seen another business in town do such a thing. Cambria is such a peaceful and relaxed place, very laid back but just don't park in the Harmony parking spots if you aren't a diner. I wonder what she does with the photos of those license plates.

I was quite underwhelmed with the spicy tequila cream chicken pasta. I was told that the dish was very spicy. To me, there was barely a hint of heat to it. The flavors was lacking. I feel as if the sliced onions should be left out. Our friend ordered the cioppino and mentioned the same thing, the sliced onions made the dish taste a little off but otherwise delicious. The kids fusilli with Parmesan was ok. It was basically tossed in butter and she can add her own Parmesan. The rib eye came out medium well. We thought that maybe it was just the ends that were a bit more cooked, however, almost the entire steak was medium well. The only part that we didn't eat was looked to be medium. Although the steak was not cooked to our preferred temperature, it was very flavorful and tender. And we sure were hungry after a day of exploring. We ate nearly the entire plate. I didn't want to mention anything since we ate 90% of the plate, but our friend convinced us to bring it up to the server. And so I did, not wanting to anything to be done about it. We did nearly finish it. We also did not want to wait longer for the steak to be re-made. I paid for my tab and it was well under what I had expected the total to be. I scanned through the itemized receipt and realized that they took off the steak. I felt ashamed for even bringing it up since we basically ate it all. The cocktails were great. Not too watered down or too heavy with alcohol. The restaurant has an amazing view overlooking the Pacific Ocean and offers outdoor seating. The service is quick and everyone was very friendly. I get that things are tough for restaurants, but I almost rather pay a little more for the sandwich and get water, if you know what I mean. I'm no food expert, or running a restaurant expert, these are just my reactions as a local who stops in here fairly regularly. I think if the folks who run this place feel like there's any value to my little thoughts, they would be easy to fix and wouldn't cost anything at all really. I've been coming here for years, and I want these folks to do well.

Besides the corn pudding, the dish was in need of some spice but the creamy tomatillo sauce made it acceptable. The lamb chops entrée filled the plate and was plated quite nicely. The chops were well prepared with a nice char and quite flavorful. The Black Cat Bistro offers a nice selection of wines, many of which are from local vintners.

It's so tasty that's it's had for me to try something else. This restaurant is very small and cozy. It's like an old school family restaurant with a cute fire place. I always try to arrive right when they open so I can get a table right in front of the fireplace. It's so cozy! And then I have to get my glasses of wine. The ambience is just very quaint and cozy. I always recommend this restaurant to my friends when they are going to Cambria. Everyone that I have recommended it to has gone always had good things to say about it.

Knowing there is convenient parking and a patio for dogs we decided to eat here in the middle of our 3-week coastal vacation. Preparing to sit and wait for my husband to join me I saw that the patio tables were filthy and dirty dishes stacked outside. I stepped near but outside the open door to ask for a rag. The clerk answered my request by stating "the dog cannot come inside" to which I answered "the dog is NOT inside". He then stated "you HAVE to come inside" to which I answered "I don't HAVE to do what you tell me to do". He replied "you want to order don't you? Then you HAVE to come inside to order" and I replied "I don't HAVE to do that just because you are telling me to do something". He was VERY POLITE to my MALE HUSBAND and served the meal we were sharing to my husband which means he must have a PROBLEM WITH CIS WOMEN. He also had a distinct "gangsta" appearance which with the filthy tables and chairs means we will never again grace the threshold of their establishment in the future. Whenever I'm at the coast, which sadly isn't as much as I once was, I find time to go to Cambria and usually eat at JJ's Pizza. I really love it there. Their pizza is excellent, the salads and dressings are very good and I even got a burger there once and really enjoyed it. I'll be down there sometime within the next month for the first time in 3 years and am very hopeful to make it over to JJ's. You guys do a great job and I love browsing the large antique store next door when I leave there. I hope it's still there! read more

Came to Cambria on a weekend trip from out of town. This is a cute town but the majority of places close by 8/9 so our options were limited.
