It is such a bad haircut--the finish was misaligned and uneven. I think their approach is to offer cheap haircuts, but quality and attitude are lacking. Affordable does not have to mean unprofessional. I always intend a $20 tip; $10(for bad quality). This lady did not even deserve the $5 I tipped. Anyway, I usually avoid careless and unprofessional businesses like this, but I got caught up this time. I would never return or recommend this place to anyone. I did not understand what they actually do. They do not call themselves barbers, but rather hairdressers. Especially if you have children, do not take them here. I was originally recommended to Maya, the owner, and she's the one who did my brows on my most recent visit--and she did an amazing job. The other two times, different staff members took care of me, and even then, I had no complaints. Each time, the shaping was clean, flattering, and consistent. They are decently priced--I believe I paid $12 for my eyebrows, plus an additional tip. For the quality of work, I think it's very fair. It would be great if they introduced some sort of membership or rewards program for frequent visitors; that would definitely add value. The only downside is that every time I've gone in, there's only been one person working. The wait can be long, especially during busy hours. It would really help if they hired more staff to keep up with demand. Outside of the wait, though, the results keep me coming back. If you're thinking about trying them out, I definitely recommend it--just try to go early or during off-peak hours if you're in a rush!

Almost all of the customers ahead of me and waiting while I was getting threaded seemed to be regulars. After I was threaded, the lady trimmed my brows, applied aloe for the potential redness and irritation, and then filled in my brows with some brow powder since she was too busy to give me a brow tint. Honestly, I thought the powder filler was a really nice touch. I don't know where she learned how to thread, but it's as if her touch was blessed by fairies or some otherworldly entity because she was so gentle. I didn't feel the thread raking across my skin, and I didn't tear up as the hair was being pulled out. I could barely feel a thing. This woman was a threading ninja. Pro tip: I was told they are always busy from noon to 2:00, and then 5:00 and after, so plan accordingly if you don't want to wait.

The shaping was better than other places I have tried and she actually measured my brows/face to keep the ratios right. Wax was a little too hot on one strip during bikini wax but irritation was gone after a day. FYI be prepared to take your shoes off. I didn't know my first time when I went so I wore flip flops. I just don't like my bare feet on the wood floors so now I remember to wear socks.
