He came to clean the gutters - which had been blocked from leaves in a part that I couldn't reach with a ladder. He ended up doing that, clearing out the blocked downspouts, and repairing the gutters so that they distributed the water evenly to both downspouts on that side of the roof (that wasn't happening and the gutters were overflowing because of it).
