My hot dogs and meatball sub were made to order promptly and it was all set in about 3 minutes. There are a few one sided folding table seats lined up next to the food trailer to enjoy your food. The Lexi was a steamed dog topped with meat chili, cheese sauce & real grilled bacon bits on a soft hot dog bun. The Mac Daddy was a steamed dog topped with soft mac & cheese & real grilled bacon bits on a soft hot dog bun. The meatball sub had 4 soft meatballs smothered in a hearty marinara sauce and topped with nacho cheese sauce on a firm chewy sub roll. I was glad I made the drive across the state for Dog Daze. The current hours in 2026 are Wednesday-Sunday 6 am-3 pm. I will definitely stop back again soon for a lunch stop when the field work schedule lines up to being in the area.

Their Belgian fries are seriously out of this world, not to mention their amazing dipping sauces to go with them (I myself had maple mayo and curry ketchup, both awesome)!! Solid roadside food shack in a parking lot it shares with an antique shop. There are several picnic tables with umbrellas so you can eat outside or in your car.

The only other option is Sala Thai downtown, but they are a more expensive, sit-down option. The food at Taste of Thai is cooked fresh, when you order it. Unlike other Thai carts which cook the food ahead of time and just warm it up for you. They've expanded the menu to include quite a few different dishes, but the Pad Thai is still the go-to.
