Stopped in here for a quick bite to eat after a long hike. I sat at the bar and the bartender was very friendly and welcoming Unfortunately, I forgot her name, but she was working Friday 10/11. The burger was very tasty, but the onion rings were fantastic as well. Cute little restaurant, worth a stop!

I'll be honest.... I have driven past this place a million times and never stopped in. Not sure why, but just didn't. Don't judge me... We went to the Belleayre Mountain Fall Festival and wanted to grab a bite to eat near the mountain. It's only 10 minutes South of it and you can't miss it. Walked in and was greeted by a friendly staff with a menu up front to order near the bar. It was a perfect fall day out so we sat outside on the deck, overlooking the creek and fire pit. Nothing more upstate than taking in the fall sun on the Esopus creek, while smelling the fire pit and having a pint of beer. I had the local Pilsner with a beef brisket sandwich. The beef tasted like was straight out of Texas at a little hole in the wall bbq pit. It came on a ciabatta bread but I gotta say, it would be better on two slices of white bread or hard roll. Just my opinion. It was a healthy serving and I could even eat all of it. I did make sure not a single bite of beef went to waste. Either way, I absolutely loved the brisket and could eat a pile the size of a ten gallon hat. We also got the French soup and wings. The soup should be mandatory for everyone. It was so good and one of the best we have had in a long time. It might have been my first time but I promise you that I'll be back often to try the rest of the menu.

Thank God its for sale. Hoping whoever buys this place makes it better. Good service is only directed to the regulars. If they don't know you they will not make you feel very welcome. The food is mediocre and overpriced. The top shelf margarita was weak and just wrong. Yesterdays baked potato is also wrong when served today. The vegetable surprise(beets) while not horrible was not cooked enough. The extra napkins came in handy. But again if they know you, you've got it made and im sure you get more than extra napkins. I watched them rub their friends while they ignored me. I do not recommend this place to anyone and truthfully the only place I've ever left a crappy tip. I usually leave 20 to 25% but here I left 7 dollars. That's 2 dollars for every minute of service offered. Also 7 as to say: GOOD LUCK!!!

Second time in less than a month, (I live miles away from J. Rocco's). We had great time, great food and most importantly we were treated like family. Thank you Michelle. Yes, Erik is right, YOU ARE THE BEST! Table by the river, fire pit and steaks on the big grill outdoor, stayed for over 7 hours!!! BTW: Maxwell says "Hi" to Bella.

The place is kind of gross. There was dog hair on my food, the back door was open and i seen a mouse run into the kitchen. I'd avoid it.

We called ahead about a reservation, and the person on the phone couldn't have been nicer, fitting us in on short notice without a hitch. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the kind of place where you can settle in and enjoy your meal. Our waitress, Isabella, was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. The food didn't disappoint either--my husband ordered the cowboy steak, and I had the chicken saltimbocca, and both were excellent. If you're in the area and looking for a reliable, enjoyable meal, this is definitely a place worth stopping into.

I sat at the bar, because there are never service issues there. Nice big bar. Decor right out of the 70s/80s, just like I expected. Had a bourbon, a beer, and a ribeye. The steak was very good, much better than I expected, and came just as I ordered, medium. I also ordered broccoli rabe because I just didn't really believe they had it. It was never brought out, and no mention was made - but it didn't show up on my bill. Left a fat tip and walked out happy. Recommend.

We ordered a variety of dishes from the menu, and while most things were enjoyable, the star of the meal--the 42 oz porterhouse--left us a bit underwhelmed. It had decent flavor, but it was served cold, which took away from the overall experience. We also asked for it to be sliced, but it came out only partially cut, which felt a bit odd and made it harder to share. While it's not on par with high-end steakhouses in Manhattan or Long Island, for what it is, Lily holds its own as a decent local spot. I'd definitely consider returning to give it another shot--there's potential here with a few tweaks.

Our meal here was a bit disappointing. Their menu is different from what was posted online. We came wanting to try the brussel sprouts. Online, they were described as crispy, but turned out to be roasted with pancetta. I was also eager to try the soft pretzel. Online, it mentioned it came with a three cheese sauce, but at the restaurant it was served with beer cheese, which I can't eat. The name of the restaurant literally has "cocktails" in it, but they were out of nearly all of their fall cocktails. That being said, we tried to redeem the experience. Our waitress was friendly and kindly let us know that the sulphur in the tap water might be irritating, so we ordered bottled. The house salad was nice and fresh, and I loved the tanginess of the lemon vinaigrette. The mac and cheese was a generous portion size. It was a bit bland and could've used a sharper cheese, but it was very creamy with a nice baked top layer. The broccoli side was tasty and well seasoned with garlic. The onion rings were very crispy and also a good portion. My husband had the New York steak and enjoyed how buttery it was. However, they initially forgot to bring him a steak knife and it was hard to flag down a waitress to get one. Overall, we left full, but our expectations were not quite met.

We were able to get last minute reservations for prime dinner time at Fishkill Prime. Upon arrival we saw that they had decorated nicely for the occasion. We were given a choice of which dining room to be seated in. Sadly, I was on medication that I can't mix with liquor, so it was just a Diet Coke for me. They were offering complementary wine spritzers to all the mothers. We ordered the escargot and Brussels sprouts to start. The escargot was good, but the Brussels sprouts were the star of the show! My husband makes incredible Brussels sprouts at home, even he had to admit that these were far superior to his own. For our entrees I ordered the duck and it was amazing. My husband ordered the ribeye. He said it was very good but a little on the salty side. Our daughter ordered the sea bass and said it was very good. This is definitely a great place for a date night or to celebrate a special occasion. We will definitely be back and I will try their cocktails when we do.

Unfortunately, the appetizers were a rough start. The lobster bisque was very watery/liquidy, and the lobster itself was tough. The Brussels sprouts were also overcooked. That said, the staff handled the situation very well and were extremely attentive and accommodating when we sent the soup back. The main entrées were much better and really saved the experience. I had the sea bass, my husband ordered the ribeye, and my sister-in-law had the veal -- all were hot, flavorful, and cooked very well. The veal was especially tender. Service throughout the evening was excellent, and you can tell the team is trying hard to make this newer restaurant successful. Overall, while the appetizers and overall execution didn't quite match the upscale price point yet, the entrées and attentive staff gave us enough reason to come back and give them another try. Hopefully, with a little refinement, especially on the starters, they can grow into the fine dining experience they're aiming for.
