We ordered the shrimp & wild mushroom pasta and the veal chef's special--both were exceptional. The pasta was rich and savory with perfectly cooked shrimp and an earthy depth from the wild mushrooms. The veal special was incredibly tender and well-seasoned, clearly made with care and fresh ingredients. The ambiance was intimate and warm, with a staff that was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Whether you're visiting Beacon or a local looking for a cozy dinner spot, Café Amacord is absolutely worth a visit. It's the kind of place that makes you want to come back for more.

The sandwiches come with chips for free or fries for an upcharge -- But the chips are homemade and frankly way better than the fries! That said again it was good but for the price the sandwiches should be much bigger. They were dog friendly and very nice which we loved. We will be back soon!
