Stopped in for a quick lunch and it hit the spot! We had no trouble finding a table on a Saturday afternoon but we did come in a bit late. The lobster roll was amazing and had huge pieces of lobster in it! So definitely worth the price tag. The tuna poke bowl was also great, as the tuna was very well-seasoned! Last minute decision to come here our first night in Brewster. We had to wait about 25 minutes in line and then the food took about 30 minutes to come. Besides the frustratingly long wait, everything else was good. We had fried fish and scallops and the scallops were delicious. The fried artichoke special was a last minute add for us but we were very happy we did. Paired this with a salad and some corn on the cob for a great welcome dinner into Cape Cod. We have loved this place for years during the summer months when we stay at Ocean Edge. It has the best, meaty, buttery lobster roll (even if it is more expensive). It has no frills, but is clean and cozy! They also serve ice cream. read more

Visited 09/02/2019 Taking the local roads up to P-Town, we stopped here for a quick bite. There's always time for a good lobster roll, right? Well JT's got them... and some excellent soups too. I had the lobster bisque, while my wife had the NE chowdah. (That's how it was spelled out on the menu!) Both soups were very very good. We shared a warm lobster roll (no mayo... just warm butter) although I would have preferred the roll with mayo, but this was just a "quick snack" on the road to P-Town and we weren't all that hungry. Fresh fried seafood. This is a go-to option for fried seafood in the area. The fish or scallops are fish a prepared perfectly (this is a bad year for local clams). A great road side seafood shack serving solid favorites and ice cream. There is parking in the back and seating in the front and the back. We had the clam chowder which was good, a hot lobster roll which was fresh and sweet, a fried oyster roll with sweet and savory oysters, a sea scallop dinner and the Atlantic cod dinner. Great place for lunch or dinner. Staff were friendly and inside is traditional "seafood shack" booths and tables. They have both fried and broiled seafood. Shrimp tacos were delicious--went 3 different times and all 3 times they were cooked perfectly! Onion rings are delicious as is their cole slaw. (Slaw is not heavy dressed, which I prefer) We also ordered their cod and side dishes of rice and veggies, which were all good. Veggies were fresh, not frozen, and cooked well. One time we ordered chicken and unfortunately it was over cooked. Probably would stick to seafood. Solid portions for reasonable prices. Only 4 star for us because their ice cream is just OK imo. Friendly service, cute interior and outdoor picnic tables. That's the good news. Quality of food was mediocre and pricing above where it should be (imo) for this roadside shanty. Fried clams @$30 were way over cooked (fried) and bellies too small to know you were eating clams and not strips. Salad portions ($12 garden salad) seemed also undersized although the $8 add on for salmon was a decent portion). The best meal and value was the lobster panini @$20 had a good amount of lobster meat and was tasty. Good selection of draft and local brews. Excellent. The seafood and all the extras were well prepared. There are a few things that stood out. Very courteous and efficient service. The place is spotless. It is obvious they have a well trained staff with high standards. While I was eating lunch on the deck out back JT's received a delivery. Fresh fish from a local seafood company! Really wanted to love JT's but food was subpar. My grilled salmon was good but my husband ordered a lobster roll which tasted funny. They apologized and he switched it for a fried chicken sandwich. Unfortunately, that was also bad, too big and over cooked. Hopefully, it was a fluke since it's the beginning of the season. read more

Truly amazed. I had a take out order, and a called ahead. It's summer on the cape and this is the recommended way of doing business. Food was ready and delicious. The burger was cooked to perfection and piping hot fries, even after a 10 minute drive home. Clam chowder was some of the best I've had on the cape. They do incredible work in the ice cream department as well. Definitely visit this place, and call ahead, or else you'll have to wait as they do get massive crowds in the summer. read more

The best ! I always stop in for a jumbo cold lobster roll and fisherman's platter to really get a good cape feel. I'm a local and born and raised this is the place I go to when I want to have a quality feast. The conditions are less than perfect due to the pandemic. Food quality is on par and I cannot believe how quick they got my order out. Food was over priced for what you get. 28.99 Broiled scallops still had the abductor muscles on.L, seasoned breading not existent and little to not color from the "broiled" part of the title of the dish. Special Bang bang shrimp was fried shrimp with bang bang sauce.... Cobb salad was barely two cups of food for 13.99 add chicken was 21, you'd get more for your money at a 4-5 diamond resort for these prices and wouldn't be disappointed. VERY disappointed with the lobster rolls, there was a good portion of meat but it was SO over cooked I couldn't eat it.

It was super expensive, we literally just ordered some tacos and it took almost an hour for them to come out. The portion sizes were tiny so it only took us like five minutes to finish them and they were mediocre. Not at all worth the money or time. read more

I recently dined at JT's with my family and had a fantastic experience. I ordered the calamari and it was the best I've had in a long time. Extremely fresh and seasoned to perfection. I ordered grilled salmon...it came with a baked potato and freshly prepared baby green beans with carrots. It was fresh, moist....just delicious! We didn't mind spending almost $500 for a group of us to eat lunch, and we're fine with the 30 min wait for food. Food was good, standard seafood that you can get at 1000 places on the Cape. What sucked the fun out of the day was getting yelled at by the owner who was patrolling the parking lot, berating people who were walking to the bakery next door for a coffee and dessert. I understand restaurants Have taken a beating the last two years but that doesn't mean customer service goes out the window and rude behavior should be tolerated. Maybe spend some more time walking the floor and talking to your customers. Perhaps that would make you happier and provide a better experience for your clientele In the future we will find one of the other 1000 places on the Cape to eat lunch. read more
