On two separate occasions, I've been placed in a Gold bed without anyone asking if that was okay or even informing me beforehand. If I'm paying for a higher-tier membership, I shouldn't have to find out after the fact that I was put in a lower-tier bed. Communication and customer service go a long way. If the Diamond beds are unavailable, simply letting customers know and giving them the option to wait or choose a different bed would make a huge difference. I hope this is addressed so other members receive the level of service they're paying for.

That aspect makes Tropical Image unique to other local salons. The reason I do not rate 5 stars is because they lack the range of beds I like to have available. The only high pressure level 5 they have is the matress version of the Matrix High Pressure, which is a 24 minutes bed due to turning over halfway in between which means whatever side you laid on first will have half the lotion left behind on the mattress rather than your skin.. It just is an old ghetto bed and they have a few others that could use serious upgrading. And that High Pressure is offered at one instead of both locations. Other than that the prices are affordable, the staff is welcoming and patient, and the environment overall is 95% awesome!

I love the concept of getting a custom piece of jewelry made, that doesn't come off. I have a copper bracelet that I never take off so this was right up my alley! I'm a huge fan of rose gold and copper and my one complaint was that there wasn't much of a selection of charms. The owner was super sweet and nice and explained how hard it is to get rose gold charms. I just wish there were more charms in general, they didn't even have to be rose gold. The supply was just kind of low in general. I ended up selecting a rose gold bracelet and two cute pearl charms. I love my bracelet so much and my bestie and I had a great time picking out our custom jewelry. It was also really cool to watch her literally weld the jewelry together on your arm. Mindy was angry at another hairdresser, Melissa due to the front door lock not working properly. Which no one had advised Melissa about. Mindy said she was locked in by her the previous evening. Mindy admitted that she had left through the back door. She chose not to call the office manager or Melissa to let her out the front door as desired. The anger that was displayed in public while another hairdresser had clients in her chair upset everyone. Totally unprofessional. After telling everyone there how pissed she was at Melissa. Mindy raced out the front door in a rage. Leaving Melissa there upset. Her coworker and clients were upset and tried to comfort Melissa. We came to find out that added to this disruption, Mindy had not notified Melissa that she had decided to cancel her hair appointment that evening with her, leaving her hair not done for Christmas. I don't know how with her attitude issues she can maintain a healthy working atmosphere at this salon. It upset everyone involved in the confrontation. Would not recommend Mindy.
