The home already had central heat with a "good running furnace". We dished out 14k CASH & $5100 OAC. The air flow in some rooms was very poor so we called them to come check it out and they would alwayz have some excuse- my house is only 1500 sq ft. 2023 the original furnace clonked out- we dished out another 10k for a new furnace through Nexgen- 2026 airflow is still an issue - they now say "it can be the ducting"- I was under the assumption that when they did the ac they updated the ducting?? Highly recommend Javier from R&R!…read more Our bathroom had 2 issues. The shower had 2 points of discharge and water came out from both ends when we turn on the water. The control switch was not working properly and it appears to have something broken inside the switch. The second was the bathtub was dripping for months. Our property manager gave us some recommendation on handyman, and we reached out to a few others. Everyone of the handyman looked at the issues and said they couldn't do it. Javier from R&R was professional and friendly. He came, looked at the problems and gave us multiple options. We were told that our bathroom fixtures were on the older end, and replacement parts would be pretty slim. Javier said he would try his best to find ways to fix our problems, and if it can't be fix, then he would have to go with the full remove and replace option. Needless to say, the cheaper option would be less than half the price of the worst case scenario. We were presented with the cheaper options to be less than $1000, while the worst case scenario would be in the mid $2000 with our drywall cut open in order to do the fixture replacement. We would also had to then deal with redoing the drywall since that is not part of the company's scope of work. Javier came back after we accepted the estimate and was able to fix everything faster than I thought. To my surprised, he was able to find the replacement parts and fix everything. My experience with Javier and R&R has been exceptional. I highly recommend R&R to anyone with plumbing issue like i had.

I had a complex plumbing issue. My shower drain was blocked…read moreby years of mineral deposits in the old pipes. My home was built in the 1960's. The team from Barker and Sons accurately diagnosed the problem and replaced the involved pipes without having to remove the floor to my shower. It was complicated by the fact that the old pipes were encased in cement that had to be jackhammered out. They were able to do it all by taking out toilet. I want to thank Albert , Luke, Bo, Daniel, and Cooper. Everyone was wonderful including Tina who was the extremely pleasant phone receptionist who kept me informed about who was coming and when. A $1300 new toilet installation. His cheapest? We buy a new toilet and he installs it for $400. I did a little poking around and fixed the issue for a $11 flush tank ring. I posted a comment on JIT's webpage and no one bothered to reach out. I wonder how many people that plumber has scammed out of significant money. Add another - as he was leaving, he remarked that we didn't have a pressure regulator on our incoming water line - I told him we did have one but we had it removed - and then he started low-key arguing with me saying he didn't see any evidence one ever existed. I remember when Justin had a small business and he was awesome. Be wary now, their plumber appear to have a reason to upsell as much as they can. Not the kind of plumber I want to deal with.
