I can't explain how pissed I am. They supposedly were bought and changed name. This place a joke.. I had taking my car for the last year in for repair and same engine and oil issue. I drove it in with engine light and oil light issues. They said I have aoil leak that they can't fine and it ate my belt. They changed my belt, didn't put oil in it and seized my engine. They said they could help me with labor but not a rebuilt engine. Ummmm.... U seized my engine! I reported them to the BAR. I'm here to pick it up and take it away and ALL of my stuff is repair paper work is missing from my glove box! That is personal property and you don't have the right to taking it! read more

I took my car for an Oxygen sensor replacement and transmission oil change. They collected $280 cash from me. Never performed the services. They Bureau of Automotive repair in the State of California said they have several complaints about this facility. They do not have an automotive repair license. Do not use this business! Very honest ! Awesome customer service ! I use to go to Honda to get oil changes which were ok. I didn't get a one on one service like I'm getting here. Thanks to my brother who referred me here so anyways I knew I needed a oil change but comes to find out I also needed air filter change and the guy showed me what my air filter looked like so right than and there I knew I wasn't going to get ripped off. JAAS was recommended to me by someone who THOUGHT they had gotten good service. The customer service initially was great, But the work is shoddy. They ARE cheaper than anyone else, but you get what you pay for. I had 2 blown heads within 5 years and a fuel filter replaced that they "fixed", supposedly. Have since had multiple problems that I have had to take to the dealer and was told "whoever worked on your vehicle did a lousy job". The last time I went to them, everything in my vehicle was stolen, including the stereo which HAD to have been done by one of their employee's because my truck was locked behind an 8 ft fence. STAY AWAY from there. It is hard financially to have to pay more, but at least you will get professionally, trained mechanics. DO NOT GO TO JAAS. I lived in Stockton at the time for 15 years. I have been going to them for a while now, service was good at first but it went all the way downhill. My car has been at their shop for 2 months now waiting for a motor to be put in, they are basically taking their sweet time, no sympathy or professionalism. Just found out today my car has been vandalized either by them or because they left my car on the street unlocked. They want to act like they don't know what happened. This place is HORRIBLE their liars and CHEATS! They diagnosed my (Mercedes) car as needing a fuel pump i paid them to do the job 1k it took them 3 times and hundreds of more money spent and my car was still not fixed they kept saying it was this and that come to find out they messed up the gas gage and it was out of gas so they charged me 200 on top of 1k to do my fuel pump and never repaired my car they just put gas in it instead of fixing the problem the car was reading full when it was really empty they knew they did not repair my car they also spread black motor oil all over the interior of my car read more

Ok so about 5 years ago I bought a car that seemed to have some kind of overheating issue and since this place was right down the street (and also where my father had taken his car for service on many occasions)-I decided to let them take a look and see what the issue was. Their recommendation-replace the head gasket for approximately $900. Now I'm no mechanic but I knew this wasn't that and even with my father saying he'd help me pay for it-I still wanted a second opinion which I got at another shop that fixed the problem for $20. Long story short-I'm not saying these guys are crooks but I'll never take another vehicle there and since the same guys are still running the place-I'll stick to that. read more

I absolutely hate this place. If I could give negative stars I would! Brought my bmw in because the AC was not working. They gave me the wrong diagnosis, saying that I needed to replace my air compressor. Quoted me about 485 for a new compressor and 130 for labor, which is quite absurd. My dad bought me a new one for around 200 and did it himself, my AC still did not work, so that was when I found out they lied to me. So my dad ended up fixing my AC himself without their help. Another thing is.. while they were trying to figure out what was wrong with my car's AC, they also decided to take my car's hood shock and replaced it with a cheap one that they had upside down! This shop is solid. If you come here, you could expect great prices and a comfortable, friendly environment. This business is ran by a honest family. I needed a catalytic converter and they admitted that I could possibly get it cheaper somewhere else. They're usually busy. The best way to get the fastest service is to come in the morning when it opens at 8am. They told me 2 months ago that I needed a water pump so I came in got my water pump changed and paid $250 then the guy said that my water pump didn't need to be replaced after I paid and got it installed by them than he said my thermostat housing is leaking and do not drive it so I took it home locked my car with alarm next day I looked in my trunk and my tool bag was stolen out of my car I did not go anywhere but from jaas Auto service back home parked my car locked it and I went inside the house I called twice about my bag after numerous attempts to get them to investigate and give me. My experience with this shop really bad. This is how it went, I called this place a few days before I wanted to take my car in to have a clutch replacement job done and I asked Jeremy who I spoke to through out the whole process for a quote for the job and if it would be able to be done in one day. So he looked at the schedule of the day I wanted it to be finished, gives me the green light and quotes me the wrong price. On the day I took my car in I called in the morning just a checkup and was given yet again the green light and to drop it off at 11 a.m. so I go drop off my car and head back home then I get a call from Jeremy and telling me that he quoted me the wrong price and that it was actually more than what he had told me over the phone a few days before I took my car so at this point I'm thinking to myself well that's more than I originally thought I would have to spend but but I agreed to the new price anyway and asked will be done same day and I was told yes the second time he had told me it would be done same day so I wait all day for my car to be finished and it started getting really late and I'm calling the shop and no one's answering and I'm thinking what the hell's going on here so I drive down there and the shop is closed and I bump into some of the employees on the way out so I asked my car is in there what's going on and they let me know that it wasn't finished no one called me to let me know this and as I called the shop repeatedly no one answered the phone. The next day I went in to go get my car around noon it was ready I got in the car to go home and immediately noticed that my steering wheel was shaking terribly which was not going on before I took my car in so I called and let them know and they have me take my car back in so they can check it up so I did I got a call back from them after dropping it off again later telling me that it's my alignment they didn't do a thing to make it better I picked up my car and that was it what a rip. (NOW MY CLUTCH CHATTERS) I do not recommend this place. read more

A friend recommended Jaas after I told her that I was quoted $500 to have my rear breaks replaced, so I called and spoke to Jeremy and quoted me $60 for the labor and another $20 if I want to have my rotor resurfaced. I was also told that I can bring my own parts, so I did. I purchased my brakes for $25 and took the car to them. It only took them 3-4 hours whereas the other place told me that I have to leave my car there and didn't even give me an exact timeframe when the car is going to be done. They are very honest. When my car was done, Jeremy told me that I don't even have a rotor, so just charged me $60. I am very pleased with the service and will most definitely going back there again. read more

DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE! The service here STINKS. Brought car in, asked for specific repairs, shop choose to overlook what I asked for. Returned the very next day, explained AGAIN what the issue was, again, shop choose their own diagnosis separate from what I asked. My only vehicle, I was determined to make them live up to their "Guarantee/Warranty"; so again I returned, a 3rd time, bought my own parts, they FINALLY did as I asked. How's my car running, LIKE CRAP! They never checked their own work, just replaced necessary parts. That's it! My Mom spent at least $1500 on two cars with minor issues. She brought her car in for simple servicing; mechanic drops tool in engine, destroying his own work, my Mom out her car 2 WEEKS! NEVER EVER EVER take Ur car to this shop. I overpaid for necessary service. My only vehicle in very incompetent hands. DON'T TRUST THEM! DON'T EVEN GO THERE!!!!! read more
