Well, it appears I'm not the only one who has had a problem with manager Tammy. Sure wish I had read reviews before going there. I will shorten my review as it appears there are other people with similar experiences. They ruin expensive clothing and refused to provide me with a claim form. They lose your clothes. The manager will come screaming out to your car in a very aggressive (and frightening) manner yelling everyone makes mistakes. And don't you dare ask any question. Your response should be, "I'm so sorry I'm responsible for your mistake. Its my fault. Will you forgive me?" Accept that, accept your loss and leave before you put yourself in danger. read more

I was trying to ask her another question because my husband was there. He told her he had two orders. She said no you only have one then when he got home, we realized our very expensive Italian tablecloth wasn't included. so I called her back and she said tell him just to come back and get it and when I asked her to make sure it was there : that's when she totally flipped out and went insane. She was screaming ; would not even let me get a second question in & then she hung up on me !?! after saying I don't treat people like that like "I was a dog or something".... well let me tell you : we love our dogs! so if I treated her like a dog, then God bless her. She got the best treatment ever!!! I will never go to that horrible den of evil again Tammye . I hope you're reading this and I hope the owners are. I have been going to this location for years and ever since Tammy took over as management the customer service has been terrible. She's rude and appears annoyed to even assist you with drop offs and pick ups. Today Tammy believed I was blocking her customer drive thru (I wasnt) and came out screaming at me and told me I would be a better fit at Reid's cleaners. They lost my husband's pants for two months, then ripped, in two place, a very nice dress of my daughter's. The manager is extremely rude, and needs customer service skills. When I confronted her about the tears, she said "All I did was complain, and we don't spend enough money with them for her to bother." Use at your own risk. They lost my husbands suit coat he was going to wear for our daughters wedding. I presented the receipt for exactly what it would cost to replace it (not including alterations!) It has taken 3 months to get a minimal response from them and despite the receipt of exact costs, they didnt reimburse me close to the replacement costs. Be warned, Veronica, who apparently handles these matters, doesnt have a clue what customer service is. She is unresponsive and will do only the bare minimum to just be done with you. read more

The staff was friendly and efficient. My items were ready earlier than expected and look great. I've been to 3 chains now, the price for my suit and an extra blazer were in the middle here with excellent service. The price for the exhibitor's table cloth was the same as Westbank (note the cheapest option for the table cloth lost it and never actually cleaned it, so the $18 quote was entirely useless-I'd rather pay $30 and have it done quickly and correctly). I have used them 4 times. I was concerned about the low rating on Yelp, however, I live in Dripping Springs and they are closest to my house by many miles. Well, I am happy to say that I have had no problems with them. They also have a drive-thru if you don't want to get out of your car. The young lady that is usually there is so warm and friendly. I hope the owners appreciate that she treats their customers so nicely. FYI, they do not dry clean slip covers. read more

Well, color me disappointed. I have only lived in Dripping Springs for a year. And, this is the worst country hospitality I have experienced yet. I dropped off my king size comforter to be washed. That is to be read as laundered. The ONLY reason I didn't wash it myself is due to the size. It is enormous, the capacity of my front loader is not. It is only a few years old, Nautica label, navy with white stitching. I stopped in to pick it up on Monday. As soon as I drove my car out from under the awning the light hit the comforter in my front seat. I had to circle back and have the young woman that work there look at it with me. It is now horribly faded in splotches. I talked with her for a bit. She assured me Valerie, her manager, would call me the next day and do right by me. Not only did she not call me the next day, but when she did it certainly wasn't right. The result of the call, it was clearly faded prior to bringing it there either by the sun or a pet. She made me feel like I am a shady imbecile that doesn't know how soap works. I told her she disappointed me. Now, I'm sad not only for the loss if my beautiful comforter. But, for that charming young woman that has to work for such a person without integrity. Shame on you, Valerie. Yes, she made me pay for them to screw it up. read more

they lost my sons pants to his suit. I dropped off 8 items of clothes, suit jacket, suit pants, vest & 5 dress shirts. i didn't realize I didn't get the pants until I got home. I called the store to tell them I didn't get the pants & the girl argued with me stating I never dropped them off. when I told her even the receipt says 8 items & I received 7, she said it was a typo that they didn't receive them. a few minutes later I spoke with the manager that claims she took my clothes & that I didn't drop off pants. I explained that I did drop them off & they claim I did not. when I asked if they had cameras so they can see that I did in fact drop off they say they don't have cameras. I know 100% that I dropped them off & they pretty much called me a liar saying my son could still have his pants, when in fact I put them into the car the night of prom (when he took the suit off) & I took them Monday may 15th. i have been using this location (jack brown in dripping springs tx on 290) for 2yrs. this is unacceptable! read more

I don't usually write nasty yelp reviews but my experience at this jack brown cleaners today was probably my worst experience with a business to date. The last time I visited they forgot to put my pants with my dress shirts but one bad apple shouldn't ruin the whole bunch, right? I decided to give them another chance. When I dropped my dry cleaning off at this location I was told it would be done by the next day, after 3 days it was finally ready. When I went to pick it up it was not in the 24 hour lockers that I had setup, so I planned ahead to come in the next morning and get my dry cleaning before work, when I arrived at 7:10 am on Friday no one was there. It took two calls to the corporate office to get someone out here to open it up so I could get my dry cleaning. I had to wait a couple of days to write this so that I could cool down. I got a call from the manager letting me know what they planned to do for the $188 Silk Shirt that they ruined (it had pink buttons that matched the silk and were destroyed in the cleaning process). She let me know I was welcome to try to source some buttons myself And if I was able to find any, they would sew them on for me. Wow- they ruin my shirt and want me to source the buttons myself so they can fix it? And I can't really explain her tone when she told me, but It was almost happy....like she enjoyed that tiny bit of power in telling me. Sort of pathetic. I tried talking to the rude person behind the desk but was given a run- around that it's "impossible" and basically called me a liar. All I wanted was to discuss what was possible to fix it and they told me there was nothing to do. This location shrunk my husband's brand new expensive work pants by laundering them rather than dry cleaning them. I specifically requested dry cleaning. They made the mistake and denied it. One employee told me she could tell the pants were accidentally laundered but the district manager, Steve Brown, subsequently said they were dry cleaned and there was no way they could have shrunk. ....well they shrunk by several inches, my husband couldn't even get the pants past his thighs. They had me drive 30 min back to their location to drop off the pants and fill out a claim form, just to find out they denied wrongdoing and refused to replace the pants. It's very frustrating. The first and only time I used jack brown cleaners was not good. Not only was I told two days in a row to come back to pick up my clothes but every day I came back they were not ready, not just that but the customer service was horrible, I'm a very easy going person but the service was down right awful, I do not recommend going here. I brought my work clothes so needing them back as soon as possible this is the only cleaners tha has messed everything up and pretty much just laughed in my face about An didn't care to try to make things right. Not the best service in town, but they get huge points for the drive-through. Prices are average, but so far everything has returned in good condition and we haven't had any problems. Wish prices were lower (like at Rick's), but our options are pretty limited in Drippin. Service is not as good as Reid's, but Jack Brown is less expensive. read more

Great Service, but awful dry cleaning. Tried facility three times, first time was "ok," but the next two times my clothing came back pressed but wrinkled. It was like they pressed it at another location and then put it all together with a bunch of clothing in a van and then delivered it to Dripping Springs. I signed up on Yelp for the sole purpose of saying how negative my experience was with this establishment. I posted it in Feb 2014 & yet do not see it here. In a nutshell: I tried to drop off 5 table cloths with a strict deadline of when I needed them back for a big Sunday party. The surly young man told me a week out - I asked for my table cloths back, that that was too late for when I needed them. He wouldn't hand them over, but rather, said they could do it by my deadline, 4 days out, and I could pick them up on Saturday before they closed. Not only were they not completed, it was more than a week when I tried to get them again and they still weren't back. I was screwed for my party for 70 people, for which I needed those table cloths. But more importantly, I was promised something they not only couldn't deliver, didn't even have the customer service decency to apologize for. I saw on the computer they planed to charge me nearly $30 for each item, so I left and never went back. They can have the stupid table cloths & never see my business again. read more

Disappointed in laundry service (relatively new shirt (light ring around the color) stains were unchanged on all shirts). I can do a better job cleaning and so I guess I will continue to go this route. Unreturned emails expressing my concerns/disappointment. I will take my business elsewhere in the future. read more
