My 2 stars is for "Larry," the cashier. He was super friendly, helpful, and apologetic. We came in on a Saturday (7/15) afternoon. Ordered a sourdough jack meal, a chicken strip meal, and 2 tacos. While waiting, Larry cane out to where we were sitting and explained that he overcharged me and gave me change. Then our order is ready. We go to the table and realize the chicken strips are potato wedges and we are missing the tacos. I go to the counter and Larry apologizes and drops the chicken strips himself. While waiting an employee comes in from outside eating fries, goes behind the counter, shoves a handful of fries in her mouth and walks into the kitchen, I never seen her wash her hands So we get our food, I open my box with the sourdough in it... and the bread is not toasted... Drove through tonight, waited for my food for over 25 minutes to get my food! My kids are waiting at home for me and wondering where I am. The female cashier seemed very overwhelmed (although she lied about having our order ready). I felt bad for her and asked the male worker for her name. He Immediately began yelling at us and screaming "have you ever been pregnant"??? I told him I was wanting to give her a stellar review. Im pretty sure he didn't know what the word stellar meant and began yelling even more louder at us. He told us to "Get out of the line!" "She's 6 months pregnant!!!" "Im not giving you her name!!!" I would give them negative stars if that were available. We ordered online and when we got there to pick up the order, they told us they were out of some of what we ordered. It did not show when we ordered. We told them to cancel the entire order and refund us. Many days later, no refund. We complained online, no response. Avoid this location totally. So you can see I got a reply from Jack in the Box. Just a link to the same site where I complained at first. To humor them, I went through it again. If I could rate 0 stars I definitely would. This morning at approximately 5:30 am my mom stopped by the drive thru on her way home and purchased almost $40 in food. When she got home she realized a medium curly fry and a cheeseburger were missing so she sent me (with receipt in hand) to go get the order fixed. Even after presenting the receipt, the employee laughed in my face and called me a liar. Then to top it all off, he called me a cow and told me he's refusing my service and will call the police if I don't leave. I left the drive thru in tears. BUT DO NOT GO HERE Whom ever manages this particular location probably does not manage the restaurant at all. Every single time I've come here they've messed up my order. And this is the last straw. Thankfully...... Our little town of Bremerton has one fast food restaurant that is open 24 Hrs. Jack in the Box. They should almost have 5 stars just for that. In 1951, a businessman named Robert O. Peterson opened the first Jack in the Box restaurant in San Diego. Equipped with an intercom system and drive-thru window, the tiny restaurant served up hamburgers to passing motorists for just 18 cents, while a large jack-in-the-box clown kept watch from the roof. Unable to find out how long this one has been here, I know it has been at least 25 years. Nice to have a place to grab a "midnight snack" although with the high fast food calories, probably shouldn't make a habit of it. 2 Tacos for 99 cents always a cheap snack, of course they have Coke Products, always a bonus. Lots of food choices as well as breakfast 24/7. Must be hard dealing with the "late night crowd" at times, so usually the service is pretty fair, considering they probably have a high employee turnover rate. If I could also give it zero stars, I would. The worst food after any fast food or even, any restaurant possible. I feel so ripped off and threw the entire thing away, literally. The large onion rings had six onion rings that tasted like burnt, old oil and fish. The Grilled Chicken Sourdough Club, had a lot of fat, almost every bite was a film of fat on the chicken breast. The bread was soggy after three bites and the taste was the worst grilled chicken sandwich, I've ever encountered, in my life. No exaggeration, I almost threw up but just threw it all away. How Jack In The Box, remains open, anywhere, is mind boggling. They are the worst fast food franchise of them all and I will cringe, every time, I hear the name, Jack-In-The-Box. I remember many years ago J in the B had deep fried cheese ravioli and I kept dropping by to get that. Obviously it was junky, but so good, it just pulled me right in. Then they discontinued it and it's been a couple decades I sometimes poke my head in to see if they ever have it again but they never do. My second memory of Jack is when they killed some children with e-coli and became well known as Death in the Box. They changed their name to Monterey Jacks to get away from their association with killing children. But the name-change didn't work and all the franchisees had to pay all over again to restore the original name on everything. They also stick with that appalling CEO Jack in their tv ads which is very off-putting since he's more Jack Ass than Jack in the Box. While other junk-food joints strive to improve their menu, it seems Jack strives to make the food cheaper to produce. Bad ingredients, bad flavor, recipes that can't be saved. We tried to order a new menu item and even after trying to describe the menu item after telling the lady taking the order what it was she said she could not find it. It was around 1 am. Drove past earlier in the night and saw a huge line in the drive threw. When we went there were only 2 cars in front of us so we didn't feel that bad. After we left the line of cars was going into the parking lot. While ordering we were informed they were out of small patties, curly fries, breakfast items and only had diet drinks. They were basically out of the things we were planning on ordering. When we got to the window the girl at the drive threw was an angel. She hooked us up with drinks because we had to wait for our fries which she also upgraded from a large to a medium. And to top it off she gave us a discount. A couple days later I got a call form the store manager apologizing for the poor service. She listened to my concerns, promised to take appropriate action, and even sent me TWO cards for free meals. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I cannot stress that enough. I sent my Husband to get me a double cheese burger but take out the extra patty and to make sure they put every veggie in the burger (I'm pregnant so... I basically wanted double cheese) and I told him I wanted cheese fries and then regular fries with my meal. He came home around 10:30 pm. I took out my food and got exactly everything I DID NOT ask for! It was a burger with both patties but no veggies at all, cheese potato WEDGES, and curly fries.
