If the employees were trained, a little better to be nicer when dealing with the mistake. Jack-in-the-Box messed up my order tonight, and when I brought it back inside and asked nicely with the receipt, the manager helped me, and then another employee from the drive-through came over and asked if they could help very rudely and then walked away with an attitude this is not the first time the manager was extremely nice. Delivered wrong food when clearly marked egg rolls. Delivered poppers. Spent $15 and their phone is disconnected so can't tell them.

If I could give zero stars I would. We spent $33 for not one item to be hot or fresh. The young lady taking our order at drive-thru was rude, zero personality. I frequent Jack in the Box frequently, and this is the worst food and customer service I have received. Thankfully, I was just visiting Hollister so I won't be returning. read more

To me, these are some good fast food burgers. The onion rings are great. The menu variety is appreciated. The prices are not bad (given that the price of everything is shockingly elevated), and they often run some good specials. Check the app. Only thing not perfect, the neighborhood is pretty sketchy. About two months ago there was a guy high on meth, right outside the windows, screaming and overturning cement trash bins. Then there were some younger guys brawling in the parking lot, an aggressive pan handler, and a younger woman hanging on the side of the building, vomiting. None of this is the restaurant's fault, nor the staff's. They do all they can to manage the situations. And the food is good. read more

I ordered breakfast combo and hash brown was raw on one side and cooked on the other. I was already 20min away and couldn't return it.

They're supposed to be open 24 hrs. , but they shut down and play with their phones for hours before they re-open. People going to work waste time thinking they can get breakfast on the way, but the kids just play with their phones instead of running the resteraunt. read more

Ordered a spicy cluck and curly fries via app, for pickup at counter. It was ready about 5 min later, the app's time estimate was spot on. Sandwich was hot, fries were not, but both tasted good. Dining room was clean enough. Kid behind the counter was prompt and helpful. Note: the entire time I was there (I ate in), there wasn't a single other customer inside. The drive thru, however...long, long line. So if covid's not a concern, recommend parking and walking inside. read more

Im not shocked this place had bad reviews. The employee in the drive through didn't seem to care about being there. My daughter got the cluck sandwich and curly fries. To start this off, I always go to jack in the box when I have the munchies. This experience was the absolutely worst! Placed our order, the lady during the entire order process gave extreme attitude. At 10:16 April 26th, I received the best customer service from a drive thru ever! I go here all the time because of the service and I didn't recognize this guy so he must be new but he's already doing a fantastic job! He asked if I wanted creamer for my coffee and sauce for the other part of my order, I accidently said no, but he could tell I really meant, yes I want sauce. I was there 5 mins ago. I ordered #21 the order was right except the hash brown is warm. #6 is right and the new popcorn chicken and i asked for classic. The drive thru server asked me if i want spicy or classic. I asked for classic then after paying, they asked me to park in front cause the popcorn still cooking. I got home and guess what. My popcorn chicken is SPICY. I tried calling and they are not answering the phone so i could complain and let them know they messed up my order. This is on 4/27/2020 around 9pm. How can you asked if spicy and classic. Then when told classic you will get SPICY. I hope the manager reads the yelp comment and try to get back with the customer. I was standing in line ready to order when what looked like a Homeless man entered . he ordered then proceeded to strike up an conversation with me this wouldn't normally be a Problem. But considering what we all are going through it is .what made me uncomfortable was the fact he was not wearing a mask and definitely was not social distancing ! The staff here at jack in the box never gave it a second look or asked him to put on a mask! This has also happened outside the dollar store and outside of hollister super market and luckys all from homeless people with no manners to stay back and wear a mask. I'm sorry to say but our law enforcement here in hollister do not even care what our family's have to deal and step over just to go to the store law enforcement stands by as our city turns into a ghetto! these kids have charged and then not given items charged for multiple times..and half the time the stuff in the bag is not correct to order.

Why is it that when something is out or is not working or they aren't taking Apple Pay THEY DON'T POST SIGNS SO THAT PEOPLE WOULD KNOW AND NOT WASTE THEIR TIME IN LONG LINES. There are two managers there, one a woman and the other a man, both Hispanic, they are very good with customers. So friendly, polite, and make you feel welcomed and appreciated. Having been to Hollister only once in the past, I didn't know what was good. Jack in the Box is generally acceptable. Perhaps, it's a bit better than McDonald's. I remembered this one. Close to Save Mart, it's easy enough to find, and because it's in a shopping center, there is extra parking. Inside, it's no better or worse than any other. Service was friendly and they seemed to be working to get things done. While I was ordering, a woman asked about her order, apparently due some time ago. They said that it didn't show up on the monitor's list, so they didn't fill it. Yes, this wasn't my order, but what happens when it is? It wasn't long after that when I got my order, but I still wondered how many orders fall through the cracks in the Jack. The Nacho Taco had plenty of cheese and the fries were good. The napkins were available at the counter, but not restricted to staff--and they were in the dispenser in the correct direction even. read more

They're supposed to be open 24/7, but they close for several hours in the early morning. They block off the drive thru with cones or chairs. You can see workers inside just taking a break on their phones, and they leave the phone off the hook so no one can call. It's supposed to be open 24 hrs, but the workers take a 3 or 4 hour break in the early morning. They should be the only place in town that's open when people go to work early. My wife and I went to the Jack in the box on Friday night and after waiting in the drive-thru line we received our order shortly after we looked in the bag we noticed that not only was it the wrong order but the food was cold and non-edible. Not good at all. I was immediately angry but then I cooled down and decided to give them a call to give them an opportunity to remedy the situation I talked to the manager that evening he said come back and they would take care of us. We did and they replaced our meals and took care of us in a very friendly and professional manner. After receiving some undercooked food here a few months ago I thought I would try again but this place is still absolute trash. The menu said "100+ beverage choices." I asked for Mt Dew but the woman taking orders said they didn't have that, I asked about the "100 beverages" and she said, "I don't know. Do you want the sprite or not." When I got to the window I asked for a Coke instead, she told me I had to take the Sprite because she refused to waste it. I took my card and left. Waited and proceeded to the drive thru and had me wait another 5 minutes since they claimed their systems would be ready after 5am. This has to be the worst jack in the box in California. I ordered in the drive through for my team (long ass wait), they didn't have change for a $100 bill so I had to leave and get change, came back to order again and they don't have meat patties (except for the one on a number 1 or number 2). So I left, except the drive through was a long wait so I went no where for 20 minutes. read more
