I love this place I come here all the time especially on taco Tuesday and taco Thursday usually just buy tacos but if anybody In my circle knows I'm going there. Go to place in Hollister for tacos!! Not to mention the only place in town that still has Taco Tuesdays - tacos are a buck!! That's right, 1 dollar. Not only do they have Taco Tuesday, but they have the same deal on Thursdays too!! Place gets packed on both days so you will wait in line if you show up during dinner rush, but the line moves and these folks have the taco assembly line down! Carne asada is tasty. Carnitas are good too!! My wife and I also enjoy the cerveza preperada - a beer prepared with hot sauce, chamoy, and a few shrimp. Tasty snack as you wait for your meal. This taqueria does not disappoint. For the value, tasty food, and speedy service, this place checks all boxes. According to the girl at the counter, the lengua and birria tacos cost more. No chips and salsa are included on this price. This is a taqueria that serves fast food at full service price. Ordered 2 super burritos, asada for my bf and al pastor for me. When I called they said burritos had meat, beans, rice, cabbage, mayo, sour cream, onions, tomato, and salsa. Only thing I could taste was the onion. My bf agrees. Didn't see or taste any of that mayo or sour cream. Only reason I gave them 2 stars is because they have really good horchata. This place was okay. I did a phone order and order 10 tacos. I related myself several times and the last asked me to repeat my order so I did. When I got there they only had me down for 2 tacos. I used to love the tacos here, would get some every week. Feels like they changed the way they make their carne asada tacos. They are greasy. They are very tasty but i usually go on regular days and pay full price cause if you go on dollar Tuesday or dollar Thursday, they are only filled halfway and with tons of thick pieces of onions. I get that they are busy but on dollar day my tacos look like they just threw them on the plate. Last time i went I got an order of 3 tacos and an order of 6, drove home and noticed that the plate that should have had 6 only had 2 tacos, so short 4 tacos that they actually charged me for. read more

The yellow cheese and store bought chips threw me off for sure but "super" is the name and Home girl can't get any quac or sour cream ? And the cheese was COLD by the time they brought it out to me ! I've tried this place twice now and I just don't get the hype. I always end up going down the street to the other taco place. Last time here, the tortillas on my tacos were hard on the outside, almost as if they were lightly fried and old. I always only get lengua tacos and I find theirs to be very underwhelming. Stopped by on a taco Tuesday for the deal but, I don't eat pork, so only asada tacos qualify for the deal. Ended up wasting $26 on mediocre tacos. I thought of trying a salad but for $13/$14, I expect more than a Mexican salad (lettuce, cucumber, tomato and orange with your choice if meat). I've been going to this place for 15+ years and now I get to share the experience with my two kids(under4yo). My entire family loves this place, we even prefer this taqueria over the others in town. You can't go wrong with a meal here, whether it's for breakfast, lunch or late night munchies or your hang over meal. Best carnitas I've had in all my years of devouring carnitas! This place is legit - best tacos in the area!! I did not know what to expect coming here but I ate twice () knowing I may not be back for a minute. The carnitas are slightly crispy on the outside and moist and full of flavor on the inside. I ended up just getting a bowl of carnitas and eating it like a bowl of cereal, just dug right in. Their tacos will not disappoint. I think their tacos de cachete are worth getting two or three, yup. I stopped by Los Grullenses on the hunt for some late night eats with co-workers. Thankfully this location is open until midnight so we were about to feast. There are a good number of tables for dine in and the prices are very affordable. It's very important to remember to get the hot sauce. I got the chicken burrito and it comes pretty loaded for about 5 bucks. I got everything including rice, beans, lettuce etc and they served cucumbers on the plate as well. I didn't ask but you can also get peppers that I think are pickled. I'm a fan so next time I come back I'll definitely remember to get some. The flavor is pretty good and the verde hot sauce is fantastic. The service was quick and it only took about 6-8 minutes for my burrito. Overall I think it's a great option for anyone working late night. Side note, there is another Los Grullenses that isn't open late so make sure to call. I'm looking forward to exploring the rest of the menu especially when working overnights! read more

Hands down, best taqueria in town. I love the variety of meats that you can choose from. Always tastes great. I personally enjoy the asada, chicken, tripe, and buche. Aguas frescas are actually well prepared and you can never go wrong with a chavela. They also show some PPV fights. I just would like a little more consistency with the amount of meat put in The burritos. There are times when it feels like it could have had a bit more meat. There food is delicious but customer service from the man packing the food is horrible. He was bothered cuz I asked for salsa. He was so bothered he threw the salsa cups into my food bag and the salsa opened and spilled. He re-foiled the top two plates but the bag was still soiled. When I asked him if he could replace the salsa cup he spilled he gives me two of the wrong salsa and when I told him that wasn't the kind that spilled he tells me "I gave you enough" so I told him well I rather have the green salsa that I asked for. He actually took the red salsa cups and put them back on the counter where he was packing orders. Ready to give them out to someone else after I already touched them. So almost an hr waiting I asked another guy and looked and it was put off to the side with a bunch of other bags of food. This is the only place my husband and I come for quick Mexican tacos and burritos. The other ones with the same name are not as good as this one is (make sure to come to Los Grullenses jal.) In fact back when the other one was good this owner of this one was the head cook. He decided to open his own and we are sure glad. Best tacos around when done correctly. The food has almost always been amazing. The only time it doesn't come out the best is when there is an error in translation. Which is completely understandable. This is my go to place. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because it's never clean. But I just tell myself it's just flavor built into the walls.
