Yes, five stars for a taqueria! This taqueria chain is a staple in the Hollister, Gilroy and Morgan Hill area for a reason. It's just that authentic and delicious. It's a must visit every time we are in our home town area. The place is a no nonsense order at the front taqueria. Service is quick and friendly and the place is pretty clean. My husband and I order what we always do, it's so hard to veer off the usual when you know what you like! Hubby ordered the Giant Burrito with carne asada which comes with grilled asada, whole pinto beans and cheese. The burrito is huge! I ordered my Super Taco with carnitas which includes whole pinto beans, the most flavorful carnitas and and a huge serving of avocado with fresh pico de gallo. My absolute most favorite soft taco anywhere ! The green salsa makes everything better so we always add some for every bite we take lol. It is definitely spicy but oh so worth it. If you're from the area you KNOW this spot and don't need me to tell you about Super Taqueria. Fast, friendly, food's good, but no frills. Don't worry if there is a wait to order, behind checkout there's an industrial quantity assembly crew keeping up with the orders. I counted and there were 10 people making burritos during my visit. The ambience isn't much, think 1970s foster freeze, but most people are grabbing their food as it comes out and taking it to go. Cost as shown in attached pic All of this works great for a fast, value burrito at lunch and that's when I go to Super Taqueria. I would give 3.5 stars if I could but rounded up to four stars as it is what it is, does it well, and makes no pretension to be anything else. Everything is really good here! I get heartburn if the seasoning on the meat is to spicy and this place doesn't give me any compared to some of the other mexican places. I do miss being able to call in the order so you just pick up otherwise I would give it 5 stars. I realize they are very busy and stopped doing it but I don't always have a lot of time to wait. But I see a recent review that you can phone in an order so I'm going to try it again. Also, I don't like beans with my taco's so make sure you let them know you don't want that in your order. I'm not sure if every location has a customer service standard but every time I ask for their own red salsa to be put into my burrito I always get the "No we don't do that". THEN once I leave a tip it's right away "Well we can put some..". I cut them off and tell them no because you said "No". The one in Gilroy, never says no, and are always willing to do that. Maybe it was the server, but they seemed kind of stand-offish, and weren't super helpful when we were placing our order. We had al pastor tacos, and a burrito and they were tasty enough. The first thing that comes to mind with the restaurant is consistency. Their flavors are consistent. Food is good if you're in the mood for "Americanish-Mexican"...but overall this place hits the spot when you need a quick burrito or taco de cabeza. Just wish it felt cleaner in here. You can order VEGAN here! YAY!! When I asked they staff, they said the rice and beans are free of lard, chicken stock...all that stuff. So if you want, you can order a burrito with NO cheese or meat and just add the veggies they offer. Very delicious and filling. read more

Got a super giant burrito and unlike the name, the actually size is smaller than the large burritos you can buy somewhere else. But rather than the size, paying round $8 for a good quality burrito is hard to find. I got al pastor with whole beans and to my delight, the wrap was freshly heated and the meat had that smokey taste to it; everything tasted fresh. Mild sauces, lime, and extremely hot green peppers were given as condiments. My issue is the fact that most if not all businesses that I have been to in Hollister take debit card payments. Why don't you?
