First time I've ever had a 'two-parter' review - on the same day. First thing the in AM on Easter, went to this location to get a coffee, OJ and an overload cake (for breakfast and mid-morning snack). Literally took 15 minutes to get my order - nobody else in the store, no one in line. 15 minutes for items already pre-made. And. On top of that, I didn't see any employees the entire time until I said 'hello' over the counter (you have to order everything on a tablet - with no employee assistance). Got my order, went back to my 'spot' in my trailer parked in the beach parking lot. Lunch time, against my better judgement, went back with my wife. Had to use the tablet again, but wanted to make some changes to my order. No assistance from the staff and was told 'everything was available through the system'. Well, it wasn't, so I completed my order (with about 10 minutes of fumbling) and paid. I then called an employee over to explain what I wanted. Was greeted, but then told I should have done it through the menu system. I told them I couldn't modify a 'combo' and, when I mentioned I couldn't, was told 'it's all available on the system' - so now you have to help me because it wasn't. I also ordered drinks, but my options were small, medium and large - no option for the type of drink. In the end, it was about 10 minutes of ordering followed by 3-4 minutes of verifying what I wanted - followed by a final question (from the employee) as to what drink I wanted. All that - why not just have an employee take my order as I want it - 2-3 minutes tops. And then (yes, a bit more), I got a little bit of attitude when I asked for ranch and hot sauce. I've been to some establishments that are going more to DIY order systems, but this is one of the worst. Two stars is being nice - they did get the order right so I had to give them that. Such a small jack in box, but glad it's here since we were staying at the Travelodge next door. They had seating and it was quite clean. They have a restroom luckily but I didn't need to use it. There's only a few staff and they were busy. They asked to order from the touchscreen kiosk and many customers complied. I ordered via the app, but like usual, when ordering right then and there, you get your food quicker. We got a few breakfast combos, we were missing some sauces and so I did have to ask for them and had to wait since the staff was not near the front. They do not have a refillable drink fountain machine so we had to ask for refills. The food was good! Warm and packed neatly. Terrible customer service. No one would come up to take my order, or ask if they could help me, therefore, I had to use the confusing kiosk that I don't care for. In addition I asked for the key to the restroom to be told it's out of service. I explained that there are 2 restrooms with only a note on one of them that states "out of service". Terrible, I was just there 20 minutes before closing waiting in the drive-through and no one even came on to say oh we're closing and let me know that they didn't want to help me. I understand that it's the end of your night but 20 minutes before closing is a little extreme to start cleaning up and it would've been nice to just simply say over the drive-thru, "so sorry we can't help you. We're closing for the night." I would've understood but when I watched a white Tesla SUV go in front of me and be able to order and then to sit at the drive-thru and wait for 7 minutes and not hear any communication is completely inexcusable. Horrible location. I ordered the promotion Gremlin box and got a box with mini tacos a small handful of broken pieces of curly fries and a jr jack. I drove all the way back just to be told I would have to wait 25 mins for someone on break to come back be able to get a refund. I left the food i was given on the counter and left without a refund. The restroom did not have toilet paper, my daughter asked for some at the front and they gave her the brown napkins! I went up there and spoke to the Hispanic man with a pony tail and he handed me a stack of brown napkins too and said, "we don't have toilet paper for YOU, this is what what HOMELESS PEOPLE use." I had to order the jumbo Jack meal with fries I got the large lemonade. Absolutely loved it they were super friendly obviously the jumbo Jack with cheese is one of the greatest burgers ever made it literally should have a 12 step program because I am so addicted to them the staff here was incredibly friendly very efficient and gave me nothing but smiles and service. If I wasn't trying to lose weight I easily would've ordered another jumbo jack with cheese the Jack's value in you two is also another addiction that I am struggling to overcome LOL great job this is a wonderful store! read more

Wish I could give a zero star the lobby was open and I had asked what time the lobby closed this lady said 10 and when I asked to use the bathroom in an emergency because all the restrooms at sunset beach were closed she would not let me use them under any circumstance . They deal with alot at that location (Entitled, Homeless, etc.) so just to get a good interaction at a fast food location is unheard of!! For the past three months, I've been commuting every weekday. I do a transfer of bus, going to work or coming from work where this restaurant is located and sometimes while I wait for the next bus, I go in the restaurant just to wait and on some occasions, I have bought a meal or just a drink. It does not matter what time I go in (AM or PM), the people over the counter seem to be upset or bothered. The ladies are always having a chat and when I approach the counter, they look at me as if I am going to ask them something personal, they are not pleasant at all, not even a friendly, welcoming smile. The first time I noticed that, it was morning, so I thought: "Well it is morning and some people at not morning people" BUT NO, I have visited it on my way home, (after 3pm) and some of the employees from the morning are there ... with the same attitude. Even the leaders, I can tell they are leaders because they are dress a bit more formal, they have an attitude, an unfriendly attitude. I have placed an order and while I am placing the order the person taking my order is chatting with another employee (not work related) and I have had to repeat my order because he or she was not paying attention to me. I'm not usually a fast food eating person. But yesterday I had a very very long and late day and wanted something quick. I stopped here in my way home as it was the most convenient on my route. The drive thru worker (platinum blonde woman was great! She was very sweet, had a great drive thru voice and was personable/welcoming. She even cracked a joke about the ice in my drink. The food was simple and tasted a lot cleaner than I remembered. However I'm only leaving the review because of the service. Hopefully management can treat her or something! read more

Literally the most inconsistent food quality I've ever seen. I worked in the food industry for years, there's protocols for every aspect of running a restaurant and the cooks working here clearly don't get it. I rarely leave reviews especially for restaurants because I know how hard it can be to work at one. However, the food I got today wouldn't even be passable as food for a pig, let alone a human being. People are paying $13 to get "food" not even worthy of being called pig slop. The only person who works here who deserves any praise is Sarah as she has consistently been the only redeeming aspect of this place that has kept me coming back at all. No more though, and I implore everyone who sees this to heed my words when I say you are more likely to get food poisoning than a fulfilling meal. read more

Shocked! I pulled into this location drive through for an order of medium Curley fries. (+/- 5:40pm on 4-8-21) When I pulled up to the window the woman at the window was busy on her phone, no big deal. I handed her a $10 bill and when giving me my change she intentionally dropped it all over the ground! How do I know she did this intentionally? (Honesty I would have thought it was likely an accident, however as I looked at her slightly complexed, she yelled at me and said, "you through a dollar bill at me!" I couldn't even believe it. How or why would one throw a dollar at someone through a drive through window? The wind was blowing and it wasn't crumbled into a ball...? I had no reason to attempt to be rude to this woman, I just wanted to order some quick food & be on my way. So I decided instead of getting out of my car and spending time picking up my money like a fool all over the drive through to simply ask for my money back and leave. I'm sorry if this woman was simply having a bad day however this was completely uncalled for and I would be embarrassed to have someone who was working for me behave this way towards a customer. And yes, I have been on that side of the counter before. I've worked in multiple restaurants as a dishwasher, bud boy, server and a host. This location has the worst customer service and worst food.Today I visited the Warner and PCH location because I had a flyer with a great special popcorn chicken with fries an a drink for $5.99. I've come here twice now and both times have been disappointing. The first time we have 3 orders with one of them being a vegetarian. So we asked for the breakfast sandwich without the meat, confirmed it twice. They asked us to go around and wait since there were other cars around, since it's a small location we understood. When they brought the food out to us all three sandwiches had meat, so we had to go around and tell them to replace it because we had asked for no meat. The second time was just now. We had 2 orders and were again asked to drive around and wait. Once again, it's fine. But they only gave us 2 ranches. We went around and asked four two more and the lady in the window said very rudely they only give out two free. I have never heard of this, ive never had an issue at jack in the box until this place. They need a reminder of what good service is like. read more
