Not a good Chick fil A. The first one that was disappointing to us. The drive thru attendant wasn't very welcoming no friendly greeting no smile and just no energy at all. I rolled through the drive thru today and the customer service was on point like always. The line looked long, and I could not even see the menu from where I was, but the woman taking orders just smiled and handed me a paper menu like it was nothing. Simple, smooth, zero stress. I ordered eight nuggets with Chick-fil-A sauce and some mac and cheese. The nuggets were seasoned perfectly, exactly what you expect from them every time. We had to approach the counter to inquire, and the staff--including the manager, Sean--were unable to explain the delay or offer a resolution. Even after the long wait, the team was reluctant to remake the order, despite the fact that our kids--who had just come from a basketball tournament--were hungry and upset. I took my mother to this establishment for evening rations on a Thursday evening in November 2025. Food was acceptable. However they got my mother's order wrong and it had to be redone. I am deducting one point for that. My mother was happy with her food once the order was redone. I was happy with the quality of my food. However there was no self serve drink station. While an employee was happy to refill my drink, I still consider having to ask for a refill to be a hassle albeit minor. This experience was incredibly frustrating from start to finish. There are two drive-thru lanes at this location, so the cars naturally split. I ended up in the outer lane. Two cars, including myself, pulled up at the same time--so logically, we should've been served in turn. But instead, I watched four cars in the other lane place their orders and get their food while I just sat there... waiting. Then a fifth car came and was also served--still nothing on my end. When an employee finally addressed me, he paused for about 30 seconds just staring--as if he was intentionally making me wait longer. And then came the fake apology. Not a sincere one--just the kind of disingenuous mumbling people say when they want you to shut up and go away. Altogether, I waited 15 extra minutes, watching people who came after me get served before I even got to order. And when I finally got my food? It was a joke. The meat was lukewarm, clearly not fresh. And the French fries were stale--not soggy, not warm, just old, stiff, and unpleasant. Honestly, it was gross. Cold, stale fries should never be handed to customers. Even more disappointing was how indifferent the staff were. They saw the imbalance between the lanes and chose to do nothing. I stopped by the Seal Beach Chick-fil-A to claim my free Chicken Sandwich as part of the LA Clippers promo where if the opposing team misses two consecutive free throws in the 4th quarter of a Clippers home game, fans can score a free chicken sandwich. The cool thing about this promo is that the Clippers don't even have to win, as was the case here, for the promo to work, but you only have three days after the fact to claim the complimentary sando. This Chick-fil-A is on the northern end of The Shops at Rossmoor on the west side of Seal Beach Blvd south of Bradbury. I don't usually go to this Chick-fil-A because there are a handful of other locations closer to me. The only reason why I went to this one was because it was on the way to the freeway from my last destination, but I'm glad to say that if ever I want Chick-fil-A, I would definitely try to find a good excuse to cross the county border lol. Things looked kind of bleak when I first entered. There wasn't a line to order, and when I stepped in line, it still took a while for someone to recognize me. That's because the cashier was doing something at the register without even taking a glance upwards. It felt like I was invisible for a good minute or so! Then, a different cashier, Patrick, went up to the register to take my order, and he was great! One of the best Chick-fil-A employees I've encountered to this day thus far. He immediately knew that I wanted the Honey Roasted BBQ sauce when I simply said I wanted the sauce that tasted like the Chick-fil-A sauce, but came in the smaller packets. Initially, I said I'd like *a* packet of that sauce, but when he asked me how many I'd like, I said 2. He grabbed 3 for me. I also asked for a cup of water, all to go. It was only a brief interaction, but he *almost* made me forget about his co-worker who was too laser-focused on his job and not so much on the customer. I say *almost* because I still mentioned it in this review lol. The wait was pretty brief as well. It was probably two minutes before another crew member called my name. The interior was quite empty at the time of my visit, so even though I ordered to go, I saw an empty table that was right next to the sanitizer, so I ate there. While Chick-fil-A's sandwiches are not worthy of five stars, this one wasn't too bad! Nice and warm just how I like it, but definitely not plump and juicy, though if it took just a couple minutes to get me my sandwich, I guess I shouldn't be surprised. There are plenty of tables inside to enjoy your meal as well as an indoor playground at the end of the dining area to entertain the kiddos. There's also a drive thru with two entrances that converge into one lane, but if you want your meal quicker, I'd recommend stopping your engine and walking inside to place your order. Much quicker that way! This is a good solid Chick-fil-A to stop at, especially considering it's not too far off the 405 freeway. If you'd like to make a pit stop here, exit at Seal Beach Blvd and go north. You can also get some shopping done in the area too before you get back on the road! read more

Always double check your drive-thru order bc the one, two, three, four times you don't, chances are there is something missing. I'm so sick of them constantly screwing up my order. It's a constant problem over the last several years I've been coming here. I'm on the go with large orders, so I don't always have time to thoroughly check until it's too late. Plus, isn't that their job? You'd think so. More recently, I called them about a missing wrap and they offered to add me to their "book" so I can have a complimentary meal. I didn't make it back until today, which was a few months later and that's when the guy at the window told me they would not honor it bc too much time had passed (2.5 month) and it's just too hard to keep track. I guess, normally, it expires after 2-3 weeks (which wasn't explained to me). Seriously, I wonder how many people are even in this book if it's so hard to keep track? So, maybe they need a better system and/or provide better service so that they don't have to keep issuing complimentary meals. I'm not sure if my review offers much as a vegan, but this was thee most pleasant experience I have had at any Chick-fil-A. Service was impeccable, the store was clean, and the food was fresh! Most of the time my fries are mostly thick ends of potatoes and overall soggy, However, this location quickly prepared salty, crisp waffle fries and put both the Polynesian sauce and extra salt in a separate baggy, which made me feel valued as a customer. My son ordered the same but with a side of Mac n cheese. Get the Mac n cheese! It's ahhh-mazing!! The service is fast and friendly, they greet you with a smile to take your order.
