Came here last night and had a wonderful time. I took my time with the meats and the salad bar. Before anything else, I need to give an acclamation to Henry who is I guess is a manager there. From early on when we were just chatting and enjoy some salad before starting any round of meats, he came over and asked if everything was going well and if there were special cuts of meats and the level of doneness required. He also came by several times to ask if we needed different meats and if there. This was on top of the waitress and turnstile staff. Now for the food...the salad bar is plentiful and be selective of what you choose. The roasted and pickled veggies are my favourites. I stay away from the things I can easily make at home. The best meats I think are the filet mignon (tender as f***), the rib steak, the beef bone and pork belly. Put a little chimichurri on the meats for a little extra tang and eat away. Don't be afraid to ask for the cuts you like and do not ever forget to ask for fried bananas and grilled pineapples to finished off your meal. This is a great place for a date night due to its luxurious decor. I just wish some of the people would dress accordingly. read more

Fogo de Chao really missed the mark for us! I visited Fogo de Chao with my husband for the first time to enjoy their happy hour. We walked in and immediately found two seats at the bar, and the menus were already on the bar top. There were about 5-7 bartenders and waiters just socially hanging out behind the bar (some even flirting with each other), and yet not one employee greeted us or took our orders for well over 15 minutes. Finally, a bartender was making a cocktail in front of us and said, "my apologies". I responded with "Oh, no worries" and he immediately looked up and said, "I wasn't talking to you." I was thrown back. I assumed he was apologizing for the long wait, but I noticed after his rude comment that he was still carrying a conversation with the waitress standing behind him waiting for the drink to be made. After that, I honestly wanted to leave, but we were finally approached by a different bartender who took our orders (probably 18 minutes after we sat down). The happy hour cocktails and food were hit and miss for us. For food, I enjoyed the happy hour sliders, especially the aioli the dish came with (but my husband did not like it). We also got a $17 appetizer happy hour cut of steak. We both disliked this dish. It was over cooked and under seasoned, and pretty chewy. The chimichurri sauce it came with, however, was fantastic. The decor and vibes of the main dining room is very much romantic and atmospheric (although, the view from the bar is of a traffic jammed Beach Blvd.) The restaurant was packed and there were clearly two locals sitting at the bar, getting greeted by name from employees, so perhaps our negative customer service experience and the less than ideal quality of food was a fluke, but this was not a great experience for either of us. read more

What an amazing restaurant! This restaurant is an experience. If you want more than good food, please go and try it out. This is what I would consider a special occasion restaurant. First it is pricey. Might want to consider purchasing restaurant gift cards at Costco at Bella Terra. They offer $79.99 for $100 worth of gift cards sometimes. Grab it. There's the Market Table with salads, breakfast options(brunch), cheeses, soup, breads. The servers walk around with the prime meat options if you select the "Full Churrasco" experience and there's the "ultimate experience with dessert added. Be sure to read the menu to select your offerings. We opted for brunch Full Churrasco and got to try the lamb, pork, beef, chicken specialties. Our bellies were content after this experience. For my birthday this year my sister wanted to treat me for lunch. Since she lives in Hb, I thought of Fogo de Chão's All Day Happy Hour Bar menu, so we met there for lunch the day after my actual birthday. We got there shortly after they opened and with the restaurant not yet busy, they were kind enough to sit us in the main dining tables as opposed to the bar area or the patio seating. Their bar menu has many great value cocktails and plenty of food items at great prices. Their all day HH best value is their Pichaña Burger, but they also have other selections like The Bone which is a meaty beef rib or the filet mignon board which is several slices of tender filet mignon with a side of chimichurri. Very good options if the AYCE Churrasco is too much for you. We wanted to get the Bone, but because it was early, it was not ready to be served yet so we went with a Pichaña burger and the filet mignon board. Everything was delicious and I will definitely come back to take advantage of the All Day Happy Hour Deals. Our server John was great. It's been two years since I've been here and I want to say that the service and food has not gone down whatsoever. Today me and my wife celebrated our one year wedding anniversary and it was spectacular! To start, if you plan to visit, I suggest getting a reservation. It is currently a Friday and we went at 6:15pm and the line/wait was long and after checking in, we were quickly sat. Ambiance wise it's fast paced but everyone is attentive to you and makes sure you're being served with the best attitude. From here, the server, Ryan was quick to get us water and a drink order. Afterwards the supervisor, Henry immediately checked in on us and got us the tokens for our churrasco AYCE and was attentive with us every time as well as another server named David that also kept checking in as well. Not just those three but I'm a people watcher and everyone was pulling their weight and working together. As a former server who used to work at a cut throat restaurant where no one helped each other, this was awesome to see great teamwork amongst them. My wife told Henry that it was our one year wedding anniversary and he immediately enhanced our experience by giving us a complimentary dessert as well asking us about our story of how we met. Being that attentive and making us feel welcomed is one of the best feelings someone can have as a guest and I appreciated it. Aside from that food was cooked perfectly medium rare wise and just melted in our mouths every time, my wife's drink was a perfect mix of fruity and not too strong which is how she likes it. I came in after my colleague planned her retirement happy hour at fogo de chao. To say I was impressed is an understatement. We had about 20-25 people in our party and they were able to accommodate our large party. Let's start with the service. The service was pretty busy as the World Cup was going on. Our server had our big party and some other tables to take care of, so he did the best he could to accommodate us all. He did come by several times and check on us which we appreciated. The food: happy hour at fogo de chao is phenomenal. They offer a wide variety of menu options to be shared or enjoyed individually. Their happy hour food menu also offered several options for all budgets. A colleague and I decided to share the filet mignon board ($17.50), Brazilian empanadas ($6), and the queijo assado ($6). We ordered the filet mignon medium. It came out and was phenomenal. It was served with a side of chimmichuri and sprinkled with salt. We also ordered the Brazilian empanadas which were also delicious. They had picanha beef and onions inside and were served with a chimmichuri aioli. They did come out very hot, so it is best to let them cool off before enjoying. The queijo assado was blistered grilled cheese served with honey. The cheese itself was salty, but the honey balanced the flavor out perfectly. The drinks: on Tuesday, if you're a rewards member select drinks are $1. The $1 drinks contained the brazil national alcohol (Caipirinha) which is similar to a rum. The drinks were not too sweet which was perfect. However, they were strong. read more

We think it was the honey that made it so good. Burger was good but I wasn't a fan of the yuca fries. They're pretty dry rather than crispy. Empanadas were good and the filer mignon board was good too. It was perfectly salted and cooked the way we asked. Service was good. Our waters were always refilled. Stopped by for happy hour and was pleasantly surprised by how affordable everything was, especially considering the quality of the food and drinks. The menu had a great selection, and everything we ordered was well-executed and flavorful. The cocktails were also solid and felt thoughtfully crafted (very strong though). Saturday night review... we had reservations for a birthday dinner and we were seated promptly. It took forever though to have someone get us our drinks and tell us about the menu. One of our drinks never came... I had to ask a different waiter about my drink after waiting 20 minutes The salad bar was okay... it would be better if they had someone from the staff check which items are running out and have them back in time for people to get it while standing in the line. Twenty years ago, when they only had a location in Beverly Hills, Fogo de Chao was one of my favorite places to eat. My visit this weekend was disappointing for several reasons: 1) More than half the meats offered were torched to well done. 2) They circulated the same meats (chicken, picanha, garlic picanha, bottom sirloin) for most of the service. 3) When making a request for items they weren't circulating (grilled pineapple, pork ribs), we asked multiple servers and did not receive any of them over 40 minutes. On the other hand, when we asked for the check, they were happy to accommodate turning our table very promptly. In the past several years, several high-end options have popped up locally for Brazilian churrasco. At the same time, Fogo de Chao has been expanding to create locations all over the US and they have not maintained the consistency with quality and service. Despite the higher price tags elsewhere, I will be going there for consistency with quality and service. read more

If you've been wanting to try Fogo but don't want to spend a lot, here's an easy way to do it. Costco sells their gift cards at about 20% off. You pay $79.99 for $100 value (item #1654048), no expiration. That's already $20 saved upfront. They also have a lunch option called Market Table & Feijoada Bar for around $18. It's an all-you-can-eat salad bar, but honestly pretty good. There are cold cuts like bacon and ham, cheeses, veggies, mushrooms, fruits, rice, and more. You can mix and match whatever you like. Even a regular salad elsewhere can easily cost $15+, so this feels like a solid deal. Great option if you don't eat much meat or prefer something lighter. Right now they also have an all day happy hour menu. You can add small bites like $6 bar items or a $10 burger (extra $4 for fries). We tried the grilled chicken and mini spicy chicken sliders, both were really good for the price. If you're celebrating something, they'll usually offer a free dessert with a candle for the birthday, which is a super nice touch. So if you do salad bar plus a couple of bar bites, two people can eat for under $50. Pretty good deal for this place. If you have a bigger appetite or really want the full experience, you can go for the all-you-can-eat churrasco (includes salad bar), which is $55 per person in this location, or more for premium options. You can also start with the salad bar and add a grilled selection like steak or lobster instead of going all in. One small thing I wasn't sure whether to mention, but I'll share it for context. When we said we were starting with just the $18 Market Table, the server's expression noticeably changed and he quickly removed the meat service tongs from our table. Later, when we ordered from the happy hour menu, he seemed a bit surprised, like he didn't expect us to add anything else. Not a huge issue, but it did feel a little off. Just because we chose the salad bar this time doesn't mean we wouldn't come back for the full churrasco experience in the future. Overall, the food and environment were great, but I do think service attitude in moments like this could be handled a bit more consistently. We got the steak from the menu, the Caprese salad from the menu and also the lamb chops. Everything cost about $56 including tip not bad. Excellent quality of food and very very tasty. Before I say anything else, we enjoyed the burger, large beef rib, and filet mignon off the happy hour menu. The service however was very disappointing. I was expecting more considering they market themselves as a more high class $$$ restaurant. Our empanadas were the last dishes to come out and took long after we had already finished everything else and tasted like they had been sitting out, our waters were left empty for awhile, and our waiter had an attitude when we ordered more, interrupting us and being rude instead of asking politely for us to repeat ourselves. We visited Fogo de Chão for dinner tonight, celebrating Father's Day, while traveling from Las Vegas, where we frequent the Vegas location and always receive exceptional service. Unfortunately, this experience was completely different and extremely disappointing. Service was incredibly slow throughout the evening. The gauchos repeatedly walked past our table, and when we requested specific cuts of meat, it often took 5-10 minutes before anyone returned with them. We spent far too much time waiting and far too little time actually enjoying the experience. We know how great Fogo de Chão can be because the Las Vegas location consistently delivers excellent service. Sadly, this location did not live up to those standards. Walked in on a Friday afternoon and are goal was to try the happy hour, which is until 6:30pm on all days. Not so bad of a price! If you don't want to wait 5-7 minutes for set-up make a reservation online. We opted for the patio outside as it was lovely weather outside. It seems this is where the employees take their lunch too. I personally don't mind the extra chatter but some other customers may be bothered by it. Our server Yan was great, greeted us and answered any questions. I appreciate his honesty, and if he didn't know the answer he would go and check. We ordered two drinks, it was nice as they gave a sample for a drink I wanted to try and it was a good portion too. The Xingu Black was closest to a stout and my partner ordered the Strawberry Hibiscus Caipirinha, which was a bit more on the sweeter side. Both were good. We ordered 3 items from the All Day Happy Hour, which were the Saucy Legs, Picanha Burger with an upgrade to Yuca Fries, and Filet Mignon Board. The Picanha Burger came out quick, and it was good! We ordered it medium and split it down the middle. The chimichurri aioli sealed the deal. The Yuca fries were different, a little bit more tougher to chew than usual but after asking, our server (didn't know but got the answer later) is a root vegetable fried similar to french fries. I'm not sure if I'll upgrade next time but the burger was definitely delicious. We waited a good 10-15 minutes for our next course which was slightly disappointing. It's interesting because they have the Filet Mignons on sticks rotating around and it seems that they forgot about us. When we got our board, our server even asked us to try a piece as he knew it wasn't up at the desired cooking temperature. We tried a piece and it was too tough. He stated it would take ANOTHER 10 minutes, which was also disappointing. At this point we weren't sure if we would be getting the saucy legs too because it seemed that it was forgotten. About 5 minutes later, the Saucy Legs came out and it was tasty. Not bad for $6. Shortly after, another person (I assume manager) came out with the Filet Mignon board. I appreciate the extra effort on checking in after we had asked for another plate (which I don't do often). My partner let me know that there is complimentary cheese bread, so we asked for it and it came to us. Thinking about it now, it would've been nice to receive it in the beginning. Not sure if it has to be asked now. Overall the food was good along with the pricing. The wait was questionable as the restaurant wasn't as busy. I can't imagine how it'll be if it were busier. I never expected to write a five star review for Fogo de Chão as a plant-based eater but here I am giving this place five stars! Meateater Hubby and I learned that Fogo de Chão offers an $18 ayce salad buffet during the weekday. The flavors and options are unlike what I would get at a standard salad bar. I filled up mostly on the plant-based proteins such as a chickpea, edamame, and black bean salad or the edamame noodle salad. There was also a delicious lentil soup. Other fresh produce included salad greens, mushrooms, hearts of palm, beets, capers, olives, and peppers. Like, fancy peppers such as peppadew and Peruvian drop peppers. As for cooked vegetables, there was roasted cauliflower, roasted zucchini, and roasted eggplant. Fresh fruit included papaya, yellow pineapple, pink, pineapple, and dragonfruit. I ate really well at this salad bar! The flavors are also fresh and colorful! I liked it so much that I decided to visit the Fogo de Chão in El Segundo a week later to bring my dad for his birthday. The one thing that I did notice about this particular location is that there were a little bit more dish options at the El Segundo location. But this Huntington Beach location has a one-up on the free parking, and I felt that the staff was friendlier as well. read more

Honestly, I was disappointed. We ordered the Tomahawk, and while it looked impressive, the flavor was pretty underwhelming. For the price and the type of restaurant this is supposed to be, I expected a lot more. The environment was okay, but it felt very crowded, which took away from the experience. For a higher-end steakhouse, I expected it to feel a little more comfortable and less packed. I also wasn't impressed with the service. We weren't checked on enough, and while that may have been because they were busy, it still affected the overall experience. Here's a hack that everyone should do. Go to Costco and buy the discounted gift cards. Then come here. We came with my husband's cousin and wife and ordered from the Bar menu (all day Happy Hour). The bar food is delicious and much less expensive than the Churrasco ($73) - which is continuous tableside meat carving. With the bar menu, we got so much variety. They start you off with these free little balls that are really tasty. I didn't catch what they were made of, but it may have been agave flour? They were so good, we asked for more. Our server was very accomodating. Then we just went to town on the ordering: Jumbo Lump Crab Cake ($18), Filet Mignon Board ($17.50), Lamb Lollipops ($16), Queijo Assado ($6), Burrata & Roasted Tomatoes ($12), and Braised Beef Sliders ($14.50). All of this food was less than one person getting the Churrasco. We had a great time except for our server disappearing once we ordered. But we were able to flag down other servers to order more drinks, etc.. and to finally get our check at the end of the evening. I saw our server in the distance when we were leaving so I'm not sure if she was reassigned to another section, very strange. All in all, a great time, delicious food and wonderful company. I now understand why everyone raves about the all day happy hour! Fogo offers such incredible deals like the $15 bone and $6 empanadas that it's hard to find better anywhere else. The beef bone was juicy and tender. We also tried the beef empanadas and picanha burger. The empanadas came out hot and flavorful. The burger was soo juicy, but a little too fatty in my opinion. I would've appreciated more spices or a variety of flavors in the burger. We upgraded to the yucca fries and they came out extremely hard. Would not pay for the upgrade next time. I love their picanha, garlic steak, and bottom sirloin best. I also love their salad bar which includes cold cuts, cheese, pastas, and some fruit. At one point, my mom mentioned, jokingly, that she'd love some strawberries and HOLY CRAP - he brought her strawberries (she's on medication that makes it hard for her to eat a lot so you have no idea how nice this was!!). Made reservations weeks in advance for New Year's Eve for my wife and me--good thing we did. The place was packed, and the rain shut down their outdoor patio, so walk-ins were a hard no. A few hopefuls tried anyway... better luck next year. We didn't want to overdo it and roll into 2026 in a food coma, so I went with the single churrasco cut instead of the full AYCE. Hit the market table for a few full plates, then they carved up a generous serving of picanha--just ok choice. My wife ordered two sides, the lobster mac and crab cake, both of which she loved. Add a couple of cocktails and some tres leches, and we were done with 2025! It was a busy night, and service showed it - strong at the start, then kind of disappeared. This was my first time here. We were a group on about 20 people at happy hour. I ordered the crab cake. It was very good. Lots of meat and no filler. The hamburgers looked really good. What a deal for just $10. Everyone really enjoyed their food. I sampled several of the apps. They were all delicious. I'll definitely return and bring others with me. It was comfortable and no loud music, so we were able to have a nice conversation. The service was fine. I'm sure it was difficult for them having people order at all different times. read more

When we walked in at Fogo de Chao Huntington the host got us to our table. Right after our waitress came in and got our drinks order. She was nice, professional and friendly. The atmosphere is amazing!.. caipirinhas was delicious! Churrasco OMG is something else. The manager Alfredo so nice and always checking if the churrasco was good sending a variety of meat that they had it. Definitely recommended Fogo de Chao Huntington a 5 star Braziliam Steak house. read more

It's both nice but standard for a Fogo. * Service: I've been here 3-4x, & I want to say it's been an ever so slight miss more often than not, but I also get it b/c they can get busy. The staff themselves are friendly, but getting a server over can be a challenge at times. * Food: everything was good/standard. In case you haven't been, you pick between a full regular and full premium option, with the premium having additional varieties of meat. We started with some sangria (additional cost), which was yum! Then you go to their iced bar with a plethora of different side dishes between fruits, salads, veggies, soup, cheese, bread, rice, etc. Once you get that, you head to your table & flip your card to green! I usually try whatever comes my way, & this time I was digging the spicy sausage, but again everything else was tasty! * Final Thoughts: good restaurant with nice staff, plus flavorful food & yummy drinks in an ample & well decorated space equalling a great vibe for all types of occasions that can be a bit pricey but worth it. Came here last Saturday for an early Fathers Day dinner celebration and I was impressed! Had reservations at 3pm and was seated right away. We were welcomed to start with appetizers from the salad bar in the back of the restaurant. We all ordered the AYCE for 7 adults and French fries for my 3 year old niece! The ribeye was my favorite and spicy tri tip was delicious. Servers were friendly to us and very attentive to our needs. Thanks for the great experience FOGO! read more
