First time trying Jack in the Box since there aren't many locations in the Northeast. I'll say their late-night bundles are actually a pretty solid value. The tacos reminded me a bit of Taco Bell tacos, more mushy filling than actual meat, but the taco sauce was surprisingly good. The basic chicken sandwich and burger were decent enough, though neither looked especially fresh or substantial. Both leaned a little soggy. The onion rings were the standout for me, crispy and satisfying. Overall, not somewhere I'd go out of my way for, but it definitely works for a late-night fast food fix. The worst customer service experience I've ever had--over fries. I stopped by Jack in the Box excited to try their new curly fries, even pointing to the specific style I wanted when I ordered. I love fries, so I was looking forward to it. Instead, I was given the regular kind. When I let the staff member know I had asked for the new version, she immediately blamed me, saying I "wasn't specific enough." I wasn't trying to argue or be difficult--I even kept my tone calm and respectful. But she clearly wasn't in the mood to help. Without a word, she grabbed the fries from my hand and tossed them into the trash--literally. I was shocked. I told her it wasn't that serious, and if it was really that upsetting, I'd rather just get a refund and leave. She didn't respond--just walked away. I went this morning for a drive thru online order for a hashbrown. When I was attended, the guy went to go get my hashbrown. He used his bare hands to pick up the hashbrown to place it in the little individual bag. The same hand he had just used to open the window, touch the register screen, touch the money and who knows what else prior to me arriving. I am not sure why gloves weren't used, why a tong wasnt used. Why he didn't wash his hands. To top it off, he handled the hashbrowns with his bare hands for multiple orders. The handling of the food was an absolute trigger. I no longer feel confident in the cleanliness of their space. There was no effort in trying to prevent contamination, prevent transfer of germs, no attempt to maintain hygiene. I felt immediate asco seeing him handle the food like that. 05:19 on 04/13/2026. I spent nearly an hour in line because the employee at the drive-thru counter was so high on an unknown substance that he couldn't perform his job duties. I waited so long at the drive-thru that multiple cars pulled up behind me and eventually drove away. He was very forgetful, fumbling orders, running to the counter, back to the register, and so on repeatedly. Eyes were glazed over, but at least he had a smile on his face, occasionally trying not to laugh, so it must have been really good stuff. I work as a mental health and substance use disorder counselor, and I can tell you with almost 100% certainty that this employee was high as a kite. Long story short: do NOT go to this Jack in the Box unless you plan to wait in line for nearly an hour at 5 a.m. Avoid this place like the plague, at least at this time in the morning. I'm sure that the young man who was working that night isn't too happy with working a dead-end job at 5 a.m. for a low wage. I'd probably have to be high as well to work a job like that. One star all day long we went through here to get a few cheeseburgers and fries for lunch and they messed my entire order up and over charged me and did not give three items I was supposed to have. Yay, 5 stars! No line! But I think it was just luck, a lot of people are leaving work early and it was just after the lunch rush. That's not why I'm leaving 5 stars though. The food was perfect today. The bun wasn't stone cold or flattened out by said stone. The meat was juicy, which with thin patties is easy to screw up. Even the bacon was better than ever. Have picked up orders here for others and have also made independent orders via drive through and with the app (recently). The first thing that anyone should pay attention to, at any fast food location, is the restrooms. This is an indication of the environment where the employees are required to "wash their hands" after use in order to return to work (H&S codes). Whether or not the facilities have been noticeably and reasonably cleaned as well as maintained with in stock inventory; toilet paper, seat covers, soap, paper towels (if necessary), and hand dryer (that actually works) should reveal a lot about whether or not the employees actually care about the tasks and responsibilities that were delegated to them in exchange for their bi-weekly consideration, which is the sole reason for why they signed up for the terms of employment to begin with. If they don't respect their position that provides them with their primary source of income then the overall consumer experience will depreciate greatly. Also, the majority of employees don't comprehend the fact that their intent to act in such an undesirable manner basically results in a diminished fair market value which equates to deliberate action by fraudulent misrepresentations, false advertising, bait and switch sales tactics, etc. My review of the location: the restroom negative 3 stars. The exterior environment surrounded by individuals who are not patrons. This can be mitigated considering, "the intent to act" in a manner by "forcing entry to private property" "with the lack of formal consent" of the ownership interest = trespassing (Civil and Penal code) the employees = some exude a sense of entitlement attitude. The service at this location is HORRIBLE! Never in my life have I visited the same establishment on multiple occasions and received the same chitty service! This is ridiculous on so many levels.
