This was my first time at Jersey Mike's. I wanted sandwich and stumbled in JM. With a low expectation, I ordered a sandwich. It was really good. The bread toasty, enough meat and you get to let them know what you want on it. All was great, the only thing I would change is having a better ham.

stale bread, I cant post videos but I took a video as well linked on Google Drive: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TagY3Eo4PbJz3mCKygFWGKFm

I love my Jersey Mikes! I usually order from the one on 7100 Santa Monica Blvd #153, West Hollywood, CA or from the one in Mid-wilshire: 6361 Wilshire Blvd - What. makes this chain so special is that they have the best and fresh ingredients. However, I ordered from the Beverly Hills location for the first time today. I ordered 3 giant subs and I can say that this is the first time I ever had truly stale bread from a Jersey Mikes. This was not isolated, as the bread was similar for all 3 giant subs. What is particularly disappointing is that the manager and employee denied and equitable solution. An apology would have sufficed, some credit for future order would be have been a wonderful gesture....not I did not receive any of that. I'd say the management needs better training in response to servicing customer complaints and that the staff or ownership should look in to the quality assurance of the food, as noted the bread tasted stale and unlike the bread I gave consumed from the many other franchises I have visited. Here is a link to a video (yelp reviews does not enable video uploads) that shows how hard it is... and it was not toasted. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TagY3Eo4PbJz3mCKygFWGKFmLqz_ZzZs/view?usp=sharing

Extremely dissatisfied today after picking up my mobile order driving home and looking forward to having my lunch to only find out I was either given the wrong sandwich or someone completely screwed this up. either way im out off what i expected to be a great lunch. i might be a little hangry but cant help but feel disappointed

Two JMS visits yesterday. The first was all that. The second, this store, was a bit off. Ordered my usual, #8, Turkey/ham Club, the mondo version. The fillings were on topic, and the crispy bacon too was right on. The bread though was the sad part. Not terrible, but it didn't taste young. Waiting till this a.m. for the second half, at least made the dried edges soft from the liquids seeping. All in all, a good sandwich.

One of the better fast food sandwich shops. I recommend their chipotle steak sandwich which is made fresh with each order (not microwaved).

Oh, it presents as a textbook Jewish deli of old, with traditional brown booths and paneled dividers, dark Formica tables, and a menu featuring the greatest hits of deli dining. But the food here is overpriced and underwhelming, like so many of the other delis around town these days. The staff is nice, for sure. They welcome you with smiles, seat you quickly, and immediately offer you drinks. Everything is clean and well-preserved, so you feel like you're in for a great meal. I ordered my usual: Pastrami on Rye, Russian Dressing on the side, with Potato Salad. To drink: Dr. Brown's Cel-Ray, the very best soda for cutting through the richness of deli meat. The sandwich came promptly, and looked quite nice. The portion was appropriate for a normal sandwich (as opposed to being ridiculously stuffed), and the pastrami was nicely marbled. But looks can be deceiving. The bread was a bit too dense -- possibly made that way, or possibly a touch stale. Either way, after 2 bites I abandoned the bread and just ate the meat. The pastrami, while juicy with a soft texture, lacked flavor. I believe they bring their meat in from a purveyor, and the lack of inspiration is evident. Potato salad was also generously portioned, but had far too much mustard, and the result is a side dish that feels more Southern Picnic than Lower East Side. Again, this is a Deli serving a so-so sandwich at a price nearly the same as Katz's in NYC, and it's a shame. It's just not worth it. I've come to find that the best pastrami in Los Angeles is being served at places Johnny's in West Adams or on special at BBQ places, and usually at 2/3's the price. When it comes to Nate & Al's, I wouldn't say never go, but I wouldn't expect much bang for your buck -- or in the case of the pastrami sandwich, your 27-bucks.

I personally prefer a lighter sauce, so we asked for light Russian dressing, which was perfect. The portion size is great and definitely easy to share. I also loved the side cucumber vinaigrette salad--it was fresh, light, and delicious. We tried the chicken schnitzel sandwich as well, which was crispy, flavorful, and very satisfying. The only downside is the parking situation. There are just a couple of spots, so you'll most likely need to find street parking. The inside is small, but they make up for it with plenty of outdoor seating. You order inside at the counter and they bring it out to you. Prices are fair for the quality and portion sizes. Honestly, you're getting something comparable (if not better) than Langer's, with a better location and vibe. Can't wait to come back!

The first thing that stood out was the location. It's definitely not the polished, picture-perfect side of LA that many visitors expect. Walking from the parking lot, you're met with a mix of body odor, urine, and sewer smells. If you can get past that short walk, you're in for a much better experience once you step inside. We were told to expect a long wait, but fortunately there was no line when we arrived and we were seated right away. The restaurant itself has a classic, vintage deli feel that's part of its charm. It was clean, busy, and surprisingly well organized. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and able to answer all of our questions about the menu. We ordered the famous #19 pastrami with coleslaw and the #44 grilled pastrami with sauerkraut. There were four of us dining, and the group was split right down the middle--two preferred the #19, while my friend and I thought the #44 was the winner. Either way, it's safe to say the sandwiches are excellent and there's likely an option that will appeal to everyone. The prices were also more reasonable than I expected. The pastrami was perfectly seasoned, cooked just right, and sliced generously. Every bite lived up to the reputation. Overall, Langer's is a very solid deli and absolutely worth trying for the food alone. My only real drawback is the surrounding area. I didn't feel particularly comfortable outside the restaurant, although that may simply be because I'm not used to that part of LA. Once inside, however, the experience was enjoyable and the food definitely delivered on the hype.

I've always questioned "nippy cheese". What is it? What makes it "nippy"?…read more Langer's is known for their best-in-the-west sublime-tasting pastrami, but on a whim we got their grilled Nippy cheese. We got the grilled nippy cheese on sourdough -- the bread is our only deviation from what a standard grill cheese sandwich is supposed to be: kraft singles on white-as-hayull bread, grilled to a golden brown, in butter, on a scorching-hot, flat cooking surface. The grilled nippy cheese here is the platonic ideal of what a grilled cheese sandwich should be. 1) The sandwich had the perfect golden-hued grilled color. 2) The cheese inside was the perfect ooey-gooey consistency. 3) The ration of bread to cheese was perfect. What was most surprising was the fact that this "nippy cheese" is from Kraft. Apparently, Nippy Cheese is what American cheese was called in the 1900s. This sandwich was so good I had to ask about the cheese. I expected the cheese to be some special-ass processed cheese-food from some specialty niche vintage supplier in Wisconsin. Nope! When a cashier asked, the cook said it was Kraft (Kraft singles is the only cheese appropriate for a standard grilled cheese sandwich, FYI) What this means is this sandwich was prepared perfectly. Whoever made this sandwich knows their stuff. I highly recommend Langer's grilled nippy cheese if pastrami ain't your thing.
