I prefer Jack In the box food over rest fast food. Their Diet Coke had the best ratio. I'm addicted to their tacos. Having said that the last 3 times I was there, tacos are not up to par. Last week the sauce was missing from the tacos. They gave me a package, but it's not the same sauce. It doesn't taste the same. The last too nice I've been there at night. I get off work at midnight and I crave the tacos so last night I ordered them and they were not good. They tasted like they've been sitting under the light for a while. They were no longer crispy. They were kind stail for a lack of a better word. Tonight once again they were cold they had the sauce which was different and there was no cheese in it so I don't know what's going on. I'm just writing on here, hoping that they will listen cause I don't know how I can make this known to them. I really appreciate their work. I appreciate them being open late. My wife ordered through Door Dash at around 9:24pm tonight. The food arrived at 10:07pm. When she orders normally, she receives the food in the same amount of time, but the food is usually hot or decently warm. Tonight the food was cold...literally cold. The driver did his job very well, but the Jack employees failed miserably. Maybe it's because the other orders were over $40? This one was $38, and it was dreadful. Jack in the box isn't my favorite fast food restaurant in Oakley, but they do provide the best customer service of any fast food restaurant in Oakley and that's why I go there. Today I went there to get Snoop Dogg's munchy meal. If you order this, make sure you're hungry because this is more than munchies. It's a feast, I couldn't even eat half of it but it was good. Stopped here for a quick bite and got a little pissed. It's lunchtime and yes the drive-thru line is very long, understandable. However the inside is open, which hasn't been the case for months and too the doors jabe been locked so that it is understood the dining room is not opened. Sooo I see a woman inside who was waiting on her order. I came inside to ask if inside was for pick-up only. The customer told me, "They're open, I just placed my order at the counter so you're okay." She picks up her order then walks out. Just as I approach the counter, the cashier waves me off and says, "We're closed I side, you have to go thru drive-thru." I replied, "The woman that just walked out just ordered at the counter." The man serving at the window is rude and uses his phone while handling food, they also do not use an ice scooper to fill your cup they simply dip the cup with their hands into the ice while touching ice to their hand and side of the cup, very unsanitary restaurant. I got up to the window the guy told me how much my total was I started getting it out of my purse he slammed the window and proceeded to do something else. Avoid the Jack N The Box in Oakley CA. They took my wife's Credit Card in the drive thru and never gave it back! When she went to the lobby the doors were locked, she spent 10 min banging on the door till finally some came. Told my wife they didn't have her card and slammed the door in her face. My wife spent 20 more min in the parking lot till the lady finally came back out and handed my wife her card. This is extremely unprofessional, now we have to watch our bank because of the possibility they copied her card. Two Hispanic people were working tonight that held my wife's card hostage. Always ask for receipt, and check your bag of your order before leaving drivethru. This branch is notorious for not putting all items you paid for. There's also a time where we ordered curly fries and both large container are just crumbs of fries. Needs more oversight by management. Ordered my food and got it after waiting 15 minutes, I couldn't tell if the hashbrown was undercooked or if it was old because it was cold. My burgers weren't cooked all the way, the cheese wasn't even melted on either of them and they were barely warm. Like it just thrown together. When they say 24/7 they really mean open whenever Convenient to the workers inside. I've never heard or seen such laziness in a business before. I came in the middle of the night and was told the computer was "updating." Having experience with this at my own work I thought ok I'll have to pay with cash. But no other comment followed. So I asked, they said no because they could not get change. So I said I'll pay with exact change and if I don't have I don't need any back. Still they said no can't help you. So I asked how long will the wait be. This annoyed her even more and informed it would be a long time and if I insist on waiting I'd have to leave the drive through and wait in the parking lot (10feet away). So I did as to not cause them to do anything to my food. It already seems to always be dry when you get it at night. That's when I was able to see what they were doing inside. I've been coming here since I was a kid. There's always a ton of parking here so you don't have to worry about that. The drive thru is always pretty fast. Price is ok I come here because my son loves this place. I think it's a little greasy for my liking but I guess that's what teenagers like. Overall ok. read more
