Absolutely amazing seafood. We also tried the fresh oysters, Cadillac margarita on the rocks, chips and salsa, and several other dishes our family really enjoyed. I also found multiple bay leaves mixed into the burrito. The chips were so heavily salted that they were practically inedible. I actually had to rub some of the salt off before eating them. This was our second visit, and unfortunately, it will probably be our last. Our waitress was very friendly and provided good service, but for the prices they charge, I would rather eat at places like Tu Jalisco or La Costa in Oakley, Guadalajara Taqueria, Taqueria Salsa, or Las Fodongas in Antioch.

We were standing outside waiting for a Lyft after a meal and a staff member happened to come out. He was immediately concerned that we might have a problem. I assured him that we were fine and were just waiting for a Lyft. He then offered us seats to use while we waited but just then the Lyft arrived. This was so typical of the service and hospitality at Cochina Medina. And now I read that they are closing on May 24. The announcement says that the owners are retiring. I would think that they could find a buyer. Oh well, congratulations Rafael and family.
