We've passed by this new restaurant many times and always wondered about id their food was good or not. We finally stopped to try it and I'm happy we did!! Their rice and beans are authentic! My co-worker recommended this restaurant to me and I finally went to try it last week! I brought a friend with me and she ordered the Carnitas Tacos. She said they were so good, she ordered 2 more! I ordered the Carne Asada Burrito and it was so delicious! I went back today and ordered the Chicken Burrito and got my husband the Chile Relleno Plate! Both were sooo good!! The food taste very authentic! Salsas are delicious too! Great service and great food! I will definitely be coming back to try more foods on the Menu! I highly recommend! I eat out a lot probably too much! I love Mexican food my wife and mother in law are great cooks. This is probably the best Mexican food I ever ate in a Mexican restaurant. The service was amazing the food was awesome and brought out fast fresh and hot. The restaurant has only been in business for maybe three weeks but the family that runs it has many years of experience and you can tell. The Establishment was clean. When driving home from work we always noticed the taco truck parked and wondering how good their food is. We ordered super burrito, super nachos, and gordita. The food was actually pretty good than most restaurants. They do have one of the best gordita and super nacho was amazing with large portions. I would want to try other food in the future. My family and I have been going to Nena's since they were inside of the of the market. Food is consistently great, people are friendly, and it's a nice alternative to fast food. I have come here when they served from their mobile food trailer and so happy that they now have an indoor restaurant. My first impression: it was clean, friendly and from the moment I walked in I could smell the freshly made food. I ordered the Queso Birria/ consome. The meat was tender, perfect about of onions, cilantro,cheese and the consome was rich with flavor. The green salsa was spicy and a great compliment to everything. Pulled up to this place randomly, ordered some tacos. The chorizo was amazing, they must have a really good butcher make em the supply. The asada was good the tripa was ok. The buche needed trimming , it had part of tounge or was overcooked. It wasn't buttery either. The place was ok, but it lacks attention to detail. Trim the buche properly, don't overcook it, and please provide hand sanitizer, that's one thing I wish more people learned as of pandemic. read more

Check your bag bed you leave!! Burrito was good but the unfriendly woman charged me for a super burrito when I ordered and received a regular burrito. When I politely asked for 2 extra salsas she charged me $1 and never put them in the bag. Alright, I've been wanting to try this place for almost a year now. I pass the cart every day on the way out to go to work, I finally stopped in today. First, online says they have indoor seating, they do not. Second, same thing with EVERY other Mexican food spot in Brentwood they cater to the fluorescent people, food was bland. I was very excited because I thought this was the same people who own Nena's in Stockton which has above average food and, amazing breakfast. I ordered six tacos, tripas with everything, I asked for the tripas to be cooked crispier and, they were squishy and gamy, carne asada was probably the worst, the meat seemed old and over seasoned with salts, the chicken was the best out of the meats in all honesty. I also ordered a burrito with carne asada with only beans, cheese and rice. I didn't taste that one but, my son will literally eat anything. The salsas were very subpar and watery, they only gave me one spicy salsa and, the rest were the green sauce which had zero flavor. I wish y'all people in Brentwood would STOP hyping these below average taco places up, the nerve of some of your taste buds are disrespectful. read more

I'm very confused as to how this place has a 4 star rating on here because it's awful. I'm from el DF and this food is FAR from authentic food from there. We ordered pastor and carne asada tacos. The pastor was a very weird looking color, almost like a hot pink, and the carne asada was mediocre and under seasoned. The staff wasn't friendly AT ALL. And their bottled sodas were at room temperature and when I asked for a cold one they said they didn't have any cold ones. The salsas were watered down and had no flavor. This taco place is actually a little mini taco truck outside of a business. I'm not sure if they are ever going to move into the building that they are parked next to but currently they are cooking tacos on a little mini trailer. They make tacos, tortoise And burritos I believe. There is a small seating area that is located outside. The husband does the cooking and the wife takes the money and adds the condiments, such as radishes, cilantro, lime, and whatever other condiments that they have there. I didn't have any interaction with the husband, but the wife was very pleasant. There was not a walk a long wait for my tacos either. Tacos are three dollars each and they have several meats to choose from. I chose the chicken and I was not disappointed by the amount of meat or condiments in my tacos. I have to admit this is the first time I've ever got tacos that were steaming hot. It was really nice to eat it when I did because it was very cold outside. This taco place is somewhat basic, not extravagant, but the food is incredibly tasty. If you're looking for something to eat quickly and you don't wanna do fast food, this is where you go. I had a burrito outside. The woman was adamant that I not go inside. They seemed surprise that I wanted to eat it there. They also seemed confused that I was speaking to them in horrible Spanish, but I need to practice and none of my family that speaks Spanish is still alive. A little weird. They weren't particularly friendly, but I like to support small businesses. The burrito was fine. Not the best, but tasty. I get medical treatment near there and I'm starving after sometime.
